That would be a genuine thank you and greeting. Menus adorn the wood tables. The art on the walls seems to be reminiscent of another restaurant but no matter. The smiles are genuine and they have foods that no one has in NJ. I'm getting a stir fry with lamb and basil. The bubble tea (coconut) with soft and chewy boba charms. Not cloying. Not overly sweet. Nor too cold. A lively aperitif perhaps. The coconut goes down easily. It would not be over reaching to say that the yellow curry soup is one of the best soups I've enjoyed lately. Each sip is a journey into the heart of darkness. Mysterious and tasty. It comes rife with napa cabbage, fragrant scallion and napped with coconut milk. The stir fried lamb is a pan Asian delight. Its roots firmly in the classics with natural stock and evident love in the kitchen. This is a restaurant that will require deep study because this one meal will lead to many more.

Booking was easy online and we were provided with the menu we'd be making. Chef Jay and his staff were so friendly, and the space we cooked in was very cozy. This event was so worth it. I would recommend this to any one of any skill level. My partner and I are by no means chefs, but our food came out perfectly. I can't wait to come back and take another class here, or stop by for dinner!
