Stay away from this place. Ordered a huge order for pickup. I picked it up and when I got home and took everything out of the bag, food was missing. I called the restaurant and they were adamant it was in the bag when it was not. They agreed to make a new one for me. I get to the restaurant and the owner I'm begins giving me an attitude and telling me the food was in the bag when it was not. I told her why would I lie, I don't need free food. I find the food here to be very good! When this business came to town many of us were sad about its predecessor, Golden Moon, closing its doors after decades due to what I recall was the exorbitant rent/leasing terms and a change of hands regarding property management (please don't quote me on that though). Incredibly- me being the foodie I am- I had not had the opportunity to try China City until just recently. I have tried their lomein, spare ribs, scallion pancakes, and shrimp fried rice and found it all to be delicious! My sis treated me to a takeout feast the other night and it was incredible! I haven't had the chance to actually see the inside of this restaurant or eat in but based on the quality of the food I've devoured so far, I can say that I'm very pleased and eagerly await the next time I will inhale more China City goodness like a Hoover! Horrible. Completely disgusted with my order. Terrible service. Called to complain and the staff member WAS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. When I spoke to them over the phone the man had the audacity to ask me "What did you expect" Food was cold and tastes like rubber. Half of my order was not recieved. I am honestly beyond baffled not only at how they treat customers but not being able to complete a order when they already got paid for it. And to top it off no refund will be given, no food wil be dropped off, the order wont even be filled. Paid for dinner and got half of it. Pure trash! I will never be seen here again! read more

I live in Randolph and have been ordering from here for the last 7 years but today is my last time. If you place an order online be prepared for your card to be charged about 10-12% more than the price on your receipt. They will tell you the prices have been raised and their ordering website does not reflect that. read more

Chia City. I felt like I was in China, inside was a typical Chinese restaurant , little kid sitting and playing with chop stick. Quick service, rice was $1.50 + tax Rice was tasty, sticky and fresh. It tasted like they added some kind of oil to the rice. It filled me up, in two weeks I'll try the brown rice. read more

Terrible service. I ordered lo mein from here and they delivered fried rice. I called them to correct it and they tried to make me pay an additional charge! Even after I already paid for what I actually ordered and added tip. I wasn't even a mile down the road from the place, it could have been a simple fix, but they refused. That is awful service if you ask me. As a business you need to own up to your mistakes and do what you can to make it right. For that alone, it's not worth it. The food is basic. There's plenty of Chinese food spots that will actually do their job, and do it well. read more

This is the worst, most inedible Chinese food I've ever had. I ordered the crispy beef. Couldn't find the beef. It was tiny slivers of beef in a batter that hid the beef altogether. Very unhealthy. Scallion pancakes were dripping in so much oil, I couldn't eat them. This place must have a deal with cardiologists to provide them with patients. It's horrendously bad. read more

New to the area and first time trying his establishment. I was very happy with the order. I'd give it a 4.5 stars. The egg food young was well cooked and I loved the gravy. Not overly salted. The Chicken chow mein was delicious... once again it was seasoned well and full of vegetables. Husband loved his peppered steak and onions. Only improvement would to make it a bit more peppery. The fried rice was very good. Seasoned very well and fresh. The orange chicken was decent. Sauce was good. Chicken decent but a bit too much breading for my personal liking. I really like the food here. Not greasy at all. We had their sesame chicken combo; chicken is not saturated in sauce compared to other spots. The pork fried rice (I'm going to be repetitive on "not greasy", i know lol) is not greasy at all, tastes like pork and rice. Scallion pancakes are a bit burnt but not greasy. I ordered from here for my first time, and must say their food is pretty darn good! Not as greasy as other Chinese places I've ordered from. Their cheese wontons are the BEST!! Only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because I ordered pork fried rice and instead got their white rice which is not at all that good. I would've been fine with the white rice if it wasn't so mushy. But overall, very good food. read more

While chatting with another worker she dropped a piece of food from the order on the floor. Without missing a beat, she bent down to pick it up with the tongs inher hand and went to place it back with the order she was preparing...until she noticed I was watching and then she dropped it in the garbage.
