Went there a few months ago for the first time. Pleasantly surprised. Best Chinese food I've had in a while. Only bad news is they are closed today and I'm craving their entire menu read more

Been coming here for years never disappointed. My favorites are the boneless ribs and roast pork egg foo young.

This is one nasty woman, the food is borderline edible, the service is you being bullied or screamed at, the ambiance is fine for the 1950's. Do not take a chance here. read more

Really disappointed this time. Have been here before and loved it. My chicken sticks were burnt beyond recognition. Just had to throw them out. My daughters chicken lo mein was rubbery and slimy. read more

Yang Tze Kitchen - Chicken sticks. - Chinese Near Me - Netcong, New Jersey

It used to be very good! They no longer use chicken breasts in their chicken chow mien. At one time I believe they did. They are using pieces of chicken thighs; very rubbery and not appetizing. Had to pick out chicken. This used to be our go to for Chinese. Raised prices, but quality of food is not good. Egg roll was good. read more

Everyone knows some local hole-in-the-wall oriental kitchen! I expected average fare! YangTze Kitchen exceeded my expectations! What was different? I don't know!!! There was an extra twist: a secret something, that made our choices stand out in my memory! I may have been having an extra good day... but I don't think that improved my taste buds! Anyway, I liked YangTze in Netcong, NJ on Main Street. The food is good & filling. I'll be gong back! Try it -- you'll like it! read more

Came in for an order & was told it was only a $15 minimum for card . Just an fyi for other people who come in . Because that was a waste of time I never heard a Chinese restaurant say this . read more

First off, I want to say that I have ordered from here twice and thought I would come back since I work 5 minutes away. I normally place my order on Beyond Menu and pick it up. The first time I went, the older guy working the counter just looked miserable. Picked up my order and left, didn't think much of it. Food was alright. I decided to come back today for lunch and that'll be the last time. I haven't opened my food yet and I really don't want to. Honestly, I should have just told the guy off and walked out, but I was a bit shocked and upset so I just paid for it and left. I am Chinese, from Fu Zhou more specifically, and my parents speak the dialect he was speaking so I understood everything. I walked in, the guy looked up, and the first thing he said in that dialect to the lady cooking was, "look at her, she is a girl but looks and dresses like a boy." Yes I have short spiky hair, I was wearing jeans and Timberland boots, and if it really even matters, yeah I'm gay. Hearing that, it threw me off and I was a bit shocked. I didn't even know what to say so instead of telling him I understood him, I just listened and wanted to see if he would say anything else. He then mumbled something to the lady. He then asked me if I wanted any sauce while looking at me in disgust. I just said no and walked out. Needless to say, I am never stepping foot into that store again. It's extremely upsetting to me that I've been here multiple times giving someone like that my money. read more

Awful. Could not take more than even one bite. The sauce was watered down. Chicken was not even cut. AVOID! read more

If I could give this place NO STARS I would. Seriously DISGUSTED. The picture says it all, ordered here for pick up and was absolutely horrified when I got home and noticed the chicken was barely cooked and still pink in my chicken fried rice. My wife wanted to like this place SO bad because it's been so hard to find good Chinese food around here but we will avoid this place at all costs. She had gone once before by herself and gotten beef and broccoli which she said was OK, this time we were sharing a chicken fried rice. Not looking to get food poisoning. Even the Chinese crackers they gave us as extras were like crushed beyond recognition. We threw everything away and ended up getting take out from the local pizza place instead. Just feels like the people there don't care about the business at all. The people are rude, and the place doesn't seem clean at all. Very disappointing and won't be back again. read more

Yang Tze Kitchen - Chicken fried rice that clearly isn't cooked but they sent us home with it anyways. - Chinese Near Me - Netcong, New Jersey

Best boneless spare ribs around hands down, no one else compares. Lo mein is always my side order. If I feel like chicken I go for the lemon chicken; AMAZING. read more

Consistent Chinese food. What you would expect from a Chinese restaurant. They have a few tables near the window if you want to sit and eat there. read more

placed an order via on-line was charged a fee...then asked if there is min. for credit card was told yes, $15... went to pick up, paid by credit was additionally charged a $1.00 for credit card usage even after the fact I met the min. with a purchase of $25.98!!! what GIVES? don't go, if you do not want to feel robbed!! read more

Bad food very simply. Egg roll was burnt & dumplings were soggy and main dish very dry

The proprietors are definitely not "people" people. The food is alright. I actually hope they don't go out of business. Their wontons are the very best. This is why we go. They fry up peanuts and sell them . These are good. I don't recommend much else there read more

Tired to order around 830 pm, they close at 1030. Asked if they delivered, the woman said where? I told her my address and she said nope too late. Its a mile away....so not planning on ordering from here again, or at least trying to order from here read more

We ordered from here while staying at the Residents Inn, we got chicken wings, pork fried rice, cheese wontons, and chicken lo mein. We didn't care much for the wings, they were greasy, fatty, and didn't have enough color. The wontons were also disappointing, grab ragoon were tasteless and dry. The pork fried rice was good and the lo mein was delicious!! read more

Absolutely love this place. I have been here so many times that the guy remembers my order. The staff is friendly and polite and the food is delicious. They cook your food fast and the prices are good. Conviently located in the middle of town and also right next to the train station. Must try the fried dumplings they will make you come back for more and more! read more

My husband placed an online order which you'd think would avoid translation issues. WRONG!! An order of fried vegetable dumplings came out as steamed pork dumplings. The broccoli in garlic sauce, sauce on the side was transformed into steamed chicken and vegetables with brown sauce on the side. I'm vegetarian, so basically this left me with nothing to eat since DH had ordered chicken mu shu (no vegetable on menu). The parking lot is awkward at best and you must pay cash or suffer a service fee to use a card. The woman who responded when we called said "I didn't charge you extra for the chicken". I didn't order it or the brown sauce, so you did over charge. They were not apologetic in the least. The prices are not great either for the quality or the attitude. read more

I used to work in the International Trade Center and probably ate here a couple times a month for several years. Always had a great meal! Since 2006 I only go once every 2 or 3 years (I live 35 miles away). The owner (wife) STILL remembers what I usually order. Highly recommend! This is a very small mostly take-out restaurant. read more

It pains me to write this review because I ate here daily for lunch because I loved the food BUT today I found not one but TWO hairs in my food. I returned to have them remake the meal but found a 2nd hair while showing them the hair. Needless to say, my money was returned but I will never return. TIP: Wear hairnets to prevent this from happening again. read more

I wish there was the option to leave 0 stars. The food is decent, but the woman working there was incredibly rude. They charge an online ordering fee and then an addition dollar for paying with a debit card. They don't include fortune cookies with the order, which every Chinese restaurant I have ever been to does. When I asked, she threw 2 in the box. read more
