I've been here several times with different groups of people and most recently came with my husband to celebrate a special occasion. At times, we have come and not been able to get in due to long wait times so keep an eye online and have a Plan B in mind. You can reserve a bay online in advance but there is a reservation fee that you do not have to pay if you show up and get a bay on the spot. The food is good and similar to what you might get at a Chili's or Applebee's type of restaurant. At different times we have tried the pretzel bites, burgers, fries, and wings, and they are all good! This was my first time experiencing top golf. First off the building and structure is nicely designed and definitely gives you a luxurious feeling. As for my experience, the different levels give the player or players a different view as well as golfing experience. There are various ways to play that include points and a scoring system or you can just hit balls and practice with your allotted time. My burger was fresh, seasoned well, and wasn't over cooked. The fries was perfectly cooked but could've used been salted better, there's salt on the table if needed. Highly recommend taking advantage of the 50% off Tuesdays. It was really affordable. The food prices were also reasonable. However the drink prices were inflated as expected. The service gave me mixed emotions, the gentleman who checked us in was friendly and helpful. However, the waitress that took our food and drink orders was not around often enough. Also she rushed us out the door as soon as our time was up. Typically I understand the punctuality of leaving once time is up but she was very rude about it and told us she needed to sit another group after walking past 4 open bays. Bring your golfing glove! This place has it figured out. I'd heard that it was awesome before hand. And it's really fun. If you've never hit a golf ball before, this isn't the worst place to start. Try it out and if you're still not feeling it, go drink, get some food, play pool or shuffleboard. Food is basic bar food with a little twist. They insert subtle flavors like chimichurri to turn up the flavor profile. But it doesn't do that much. The food service was pretty slow. Took about 30 minutes to get food. When you have about 15 minutes left, our server did come try to settle up. Which wouldn't be a big deal except it's time taken away from the game trying to figure how to settle up. I asked if we could pause the game and she danced around the subject so I asked if we could do it after and she basically just ignored me. I had to firmly tell her I'd settle up after the game and move to my shots before she acquiesced. That was a little annoying. I get they're busy but with such a smooth system, you'd think they'd have this part figured out as well. The fans are REALLY crazy. Watch out or your coasters will go flying. This place was fun. I had not been to a Topgolf prior to this occasion. I think not having to fight the crowd helped a lot too as we had come in early and they were just getting ready to open. Coming back in the evenings, we would pass by and the parking lot would always be full. The experience was fun, and the system for delivery of balls was cool. I had gotten an order of tater tots as well as a healthy start sandwich. The tots came in their own little fryer basket which was cool. They also have a bar in the main area so drinks can be delivered to you. All in all, it'd be awesome to see one of these in the area of Cali since I don't know how often I'll be on the East coast. Worthwhile to sit in and pound some stress relief into the expanded green. read more

Topgolf is a genius concept for a great way to eat, drink, be loud, enjoy music, do a fun activity with friends, family or even a work party. I've been to Topgolf twice since it opened, once pre-pandemic and then yesterday. They are doing very well complying to covid regulations but still ensuring they stay true to what they offer. There are clear dividers in-between bays, there are bay capacity limits, all staff members are wearing masks, there are signage every where and sanitzing wipes readily available every where. Servers and other staff members are spread out on each floor so they are easily accessible and you don't need to go to the customer service desk for any help with your play cards or games. The establishment was very clean from our bay to the restrooms. The food is very delicious. Sometimes places like these that offer attraction/activities and food don't heavily focus on their foods but every single dish ordered was delicious. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of everything we ordered but we did order every single appetizer on the menu. As a pescatarian, I absolutely loved their Quest Blanco & Chips, Margherita Flatbread and Cheesy Macaroni Bites so much that we had to get two orders for the table because everyone was eating it up. Our server was Hunter. Big kudos to him because he was on top of his service, continue to clear the table, serving refills and making sure we were doing well without being to overbearing. Topgolf is for all experience level. They even have clubs for kids. My kids really enjoyed hitting the ball and seeing their scores. Regardless of how horrible you are, you will score something. I love that they run promotions such as "Half off Tuesdays". It's really a great place for just about any event and it isn't overly pricey either. I finally made it to Topgolf for a birthday party in January and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. We did not have a reservation so we had to wait for a little while. No big deal. The hostess invited us to wait in the bar area and have drinks while they were preparing a steak for us. We ordered multiple dishes and drinks and everything was amazing! The drinks weren't "family-friendly" like most establishments. I was concerned that it would be cold since it was the middle of January but the heaters supplied enough warmth for us to stay comfortable while we golfed. The instructor was also close by if we needed any help. I have no idea how to play golf or have any interest in the sport but I had a good time trying to see how far I could hit the ball. My first time EVER at a Topgolf location and I enjoyed every second of it!!! I went with a group of 8 friends but only 6 can play at a time. The more you bring the cheaper the cost, if you're splitting it evenly between everyone. I think in total it came out to about $15 ish each for all of us to play for 2 hours. Our server Haley was amazing! She was super attentive and was always checking in to make sure we were doing alright. One of the managers even came in and checked on our party a couple of times just to ensure everything was going smoothly and that we were having fun. Everyone in my party was super impressed with the drinks, not one cup was left unfinished! We ordered appetizers too but it was just your basic chicken tenders & fries, wings, and buffalo dip. Nothing of the food gave a wow factor but all of it was pretty tasty and satisfying. I would definitely revisit this location again, amongst any others I come across. Went to Drive Shack before visiting Top Golf and it certainly ruined me for TG. Top Golf DID get us to a bay quicker, but it was a slow weeknight. Only half credit for that. The food was similar to a cafeteria. Not terribly bad, but certainly not good. The golf game timer does help you watch the time it takes to see a server, which sucks.... The service was very clearly tailored to a 90 minute golf game and getting you to stay longer. After ordering apps, it was 25 minutes until we saw a server again, who delivered our food. Longer for our waitress. 40 minutes before we were even able to order food. We were certainly done playing golf and starving. LITERALLY the second our time was up the vultures swooped in and started asking what they could clean up and take and if we were leaving promptly. With service. We certainly would have been. We had a drink, 2 max per person. We aren't children and raising heck. We are professionals and planned to over tip. We just thought an hour and a half would be enough to enjoy and eat. Underwhelmed. Planned a trip back to Drive Shack while there. The technology there and game play was phenomenally better than anything TG had to offer. 2 stars only because it wasn't a total shit show tonight and the waitress allowed us to spilt tabs for corporate cards. $71 for 90 minutes plus $5 for the new membership fee since we had a member with us. $35 an hour and NO membership fees at Drive Shack. Different games to play 2. Fun for family, friends, and solo play 3. Memberships available 4. Mens and womens clubs 5. Comfortable booths for your group to sit in 6. Booth expense can be split by the number of people you have (booth cost doesn't increase) 7. Food and drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) available at your booth 8. Sit down area at the bar / restaurant inside to eat and drink 9. You can reserve booths for a specific time ahead of time 10. Booths are heated so you can stay comfortable in cold/adverse weather 11. Bathrooms on each floor Cons: 1. If you have a small group, the booth pricing might seem a little high. Although, booth prices are cheaper during the week 2. The food and drinks are a little pricy (nothing outrageous) 3. If you don't reserve ahead of time, you could end up waiting ~2 hours for a booth 4. I'm not a golfer. I have no patience for hitting a ball, following it, and then hitting it again. To me it's a useless concept and I'd rather do anything else than play golf. That being said, I appreciate the skill it takes to be a successful golfer - I simply do not have the time nor interest it takes to improve. A driving range is more my style since I don't have to chase any balls after I hit it (poorly). Mix in friends, food and booze and I'm all about it. Topgolf certainly fits the bill in that respect and I can easily find myself visiting time and again. The problem is, I haven't. I've only visited the VB location once with my sister and brother-in-law. This location is pretty and fancy and everything you would expect from a high-end driving range. In addition there's a game room with pool tables and the like, and we spent most of our time at the sports bar, which is plenty impressive. That brings me to the customer service, which is good. The employees are friendly and look like they enjoy working there, especially the ones who were dancing to all the music the DJ was spinnin' (it was a Friday night). It wasn't particularly busy - in fact, much of the staff said it was the slowest Friday they've seen there since it opened (my lone visit was in March 2016). Regardless, we enjoyed the service, the beers and the food. If there was only one complaint to be had, it would have to do with portion size. We ordered Topgolf's nachos, which were flavorful, but I can't seriously call what we were served nachos. If I can count the number of actual nachos on the plate then that's not nachos - it's tapas. And to charge $8 for it is kinda shady. It's obvious Topgolf aims to be top shelf but, c'mon, when you have a sports bar with plenty of booze I want to see bar food with bar portions and bar food prices. Outside of that, I like Topgolf. I can't say I'll visit regularly, but it is a great alternative for the older crowd who may not be up for hittin' up a club. Reviewing their group reservation Went here with my job. They had a host who was specifically designated for us. He was waiting in the lobby with a sign and led us straight in to our bays. We had two hours of game play and he set each of us up in the system according to the teams we wanted. Our company had ordered the shareable platters in advance and it was brought out to each bay. There was fried Mac and cheese, sausage bites, Buffalo dip, hummus, chips and salsa, boneless wings, and pretzels. Our host was super friendly and helpful. He kept track of the scores for the different rounds and even presented the company trophies. He was quick and kept our area tidy.
