We stopped by Ballyhoos on Sunday to get some food and to watch the game. This is such a fun place to spend a Sunday afternoon. The food is good and the atmosphere is lively. They have raffles for prizes that are absolutely free. They have just about every game that you can imagine on their multiple televisions. The Star of the show was definitely the Hot Wings. They came out piping hot and they were delicious. We opted for the hot sauce and we enjoyed them very much. Check out Ballyhoo's, you'll be happy that you did and you can rest assured that you are supporting our local restaurant community.

Stopped by on a Friday evening for a friends get together while in town. It's funny how many times growing up that I was in this shopping center yet definitely didn't have a spot like this. Introduced my husband to some East coast on this trip. I had the shrimp. No longer my favorite after having my seasoning boiled into the seafood down South. The tots could have been cooked long. The crush ratio was off if you know what they should take like. The service for a Friday Evening mid evening left a lot to be desired. We had to work to get his attention most of the evening. The all you could eat crab legs were a good price compared to most local spots. The feel of the restaurant was my favorite part. The outdoor space was plentiful. Tons of space for folks of different groups. Live music. I'd go back really just got the atmosphere not for service.

When you walk in Ballyhoos it has a dive bar feel to it but I love it. Casual dining. We had a great time. And the food was Excellent. Shrimp cocktail are nice size shrimp. They even had lumpia. My friends drink was really good. She let me take a sip. They did not have it on the menu but I got a mocktail, Pineapple with sprite. It was so nice of them to make for me and I liked it so much I drank 3 of them. The bathrooms could be a little cleaner. Pretty good parking. I would say a great place to meet friends and have a good time.

Went to Ballyhoos last night to listen to a friends band...Swell Luck! They are awesome! They were busy of course for a Saturday. We arrived around 6p, put our names on the list for a table and that did not take to long. While the drinks are good and the patio is great. The Tuna Poke was just ehh. I was really looking forward to this but the Tuna pieces were big and I had to cut up them into smaller pieces and cut off sinewy parts. I was disappointed with this dish. I also got the garlic Parmesan boneless wings, those were decent and nice sized pieces. My friend ordered the fresh guacamole that needed more seasoning as it was a little bland. I will definitely come back for drinks and live music again and try something else on their menu. The wraps and sandwiches looked good as that is what my friends had.

The ambience was beautuful; the noise level subdued. Let's start with the appetizers. The three of us shared the Homemade Mozzarella, Tomato and Basil as an appetizer. Drizzled with olive oil, the taste was fantastic; just enough for the three of us. Fresh basil, beautiful red tomatoes cut thickly and a generous portion of mozzarella cheese (four (4) slices). The mozzarella was delicious, devid of that store-bought taste. Pre-dinner drinks were a pinot grigio wine, an applewtini and a vodka martini. Drink sizes were generous. Our server was Kayla, a delightful young lady who walked us through the specials and brought out the freshly-baked bread with butter (and replaced them a few moments later). She checked in on us throughout the meal; just often enough to make sure we were doing OK but no so often as to be annoying. Bravo. My wife's aunt ordered the Steamed Old Bay Shrimp (which shows as an appetizer but ordered for a single person is the size of a meal, and then some). She was thoroughly pleased with her dinner. My wife opted for the special flounder dish. This dish was accompanied by a butternut squash, halved and baked with butter, and roasted potatoes. My wife was impressed with the meal. I ordered the Black Angus NY Strip, medium rare. It came with the same sides as did my wife's dinner. My steak was done perfectly and very, very tasty. No need for a steak sauce here to make it tasty. I was very impressed with the portion sizes. Laura, the Manager on duty, stopped by at our request and we expressed our appreciation and our positive reviews of the food an service. She was pleasant and spent a few minutes conversing with us. Stuffed as we were, we managed coffee and my wife and I split a Warm Apple Tart. The coffee was hot and medium roast strength and the tart was done in a layered dough style and it was fabulous. Ad to this free valet parking (tips appreciated) and this night was one I will look forward to repeating when I visit next. My thanks to the entire staff, in front of and behind the scenes of The Coastal Grill.

My seared scallops cost $47.95. There were 5 scallops that weren't much bigger than the size of a nickel each and were so salty. My husband said the traditional salmon entree was ok, but it was so small, for $36.95. And I don't know where they came up with the soggy butternut squash idea, yuck! Coastal Grill is one of only a few restaurants in this area where we felt that we were ripped off, sickening. The service was acceptable, however it took a long time to get the food. The only thing going for this restaurant is the ambiance.

I think this time was even better! We arrived around 230 on a Saturday, lucky for us happy hour started at 3 and we had a 30 minute wait for 6 people. Literally perfect timing because no one was waiting before us and about 10-20 minutes later the waiting area became packed for that 3 o clock happy hour. Side note: happy hour is from 3-7, 7 days a week! The service was phenomenal, the whole staff was so nice and accommodating. While we waited for our table, we were able to order a cocktail from one of the waitresses. We also had a baby with a stroller and they made sure we had plenty of room once we were seated at our table. The food was amazing, I'm a fan of cooked oyster but i decided to be a little spontaneous and try them raw. I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and clean tasting these oysters were. It reminded me of eating sashimi. My wife and father in law had the lobster rolls, they both loved them! My son had the double cheeseburger from the happy hour menu, literally cannot beat this deal. $6 double cheeseburger with fries on the boardwalk is unimaginable lol. I had the Nashville hot chicken, which was good but maybe could've used a little more flavor. But the quality of the sandwich as a whole was spot on. I really don't have any complaints, this was the highlight of our day. My in laws live in Wisconsin but they travel a bunch and they said that these oysters were some of the best they had ever had. They would never see 1$ oysters where they live, so I'm glad we were able to come here and create this memory together. If you've ever debated whether taking the trip to the strip is worth it, it is! Definitely check this place out!

It happened to be Restaurant Week, which made us a little nervous, but it ended up being totally fine. The dining room never felt overly crowded, the noise level was comfortable, and having the Restaurant Week prix fixe, drink specials, and regular menu all available gave us plenty of options without feeling overwhelming. One small note: the plastic logo cups served with the water decanter felt a little out of place. They were a bit sharp on the lips and didn't quite match the rest of the dining experience. Minor detail, but noticeable. The drinks, however, were excellent. On our server's recommendation, my husband ordered the Gingerbread Old Fashioned and I had the Salted Caramel Martini. Both were seasonal specials and both were fantastic. When we asked about the scotch eggs, our server explained they're normally a brunch-only item. We were a little disappointed (and may have made a few pouty faces while explaining we'd come specifically for them for his birthday), but we quickly let it go, it obviously wasn't her fault. What we didn't realize was that she went back and told the kitchen manager that it was his birthday and that we'd made the trip just for those scotch eggs. Since the kitchen wasn't slammed, they decided to make them anyway and surprised us with an order. We were honestly floored. My husband was thrilled. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare. And the scotch eggs were exactly what he'd been hoping for! They were crispy on the outside with a rich, savory center. For entrées, his Nashville Hot Chicken was juicy with the perfect amount of heat without being overwhelming. My Haystack Burger was stacked and delicious, though the BBQ sauce was strong enough to overshadow the pickled green tomato a bit. The fries were fantastic - crispy, battered, and perfect from first bite to last. Our server checked in at all the right times and kept drinks refilled without us needing to ask. The fact that she went out of her way to do something special during one of the busiest weeks on a restaurant's calendar says a lot about both her and the restaurant. Rustic Spoon is the kind of place that works just as well for a casual date night as it does for a birthday dinner or a night out with friends.

Most places turn you away and tell you to deal with Uber but as a reviewer I also love to review customer service. The manager took ownership of the issue and let me know I could pick up the pancakes. When I get there, he was waiting at the front door for me, had my food hot and ready, and added something a little extra for the mistake. My wife loves this place and I understand why. I trained bank associates on customer service and soft skills and if I could've recorded this interaction, it would've been the best training one could offer. We often overlooked how important excellent service is and how it influences customers. This situation turned me into a supporter of this business going forward. Pictures of animals, stuffed birds and deer heads on the walls, Leather couch and chairs around a fireplace, and warm wood paneling and low lighting. Very comfortable. Our waitress was awesome in every respect. She asked the right questions, made great wine recommendations. Her timing was perfect, very quick and efficient, and very personable. She was wonderful. We started with sharing the four Reuben Egg Rolls with Russian dressing appetizer. Crispy flaky crust with delicious Reuben meat inside dipping into enjoyable Russian dressing. We ordered salads and our waitress asked small or large. Once she explained the difference, small Wedge for me and a small Pickled Beet Salad. Both were excellence. For comparison, the large salads are a meal unto themselves. My wife decided on the Wild Mushroom Risotto for her entrée. A very generous bowl of rice, wild mushrooms, and peas in a creamy garlic sauce. She loved it. My wife could only eat half of it; the rest came home in a doggy bag. I had the pan roasted venison loin. Two big medallions cooked medium rare, laying on a bed of creamy garlic mashed potatoes and peppercorn demi-glace with roasted Broccolini cooked just right, wilted with some crunch still left in them. We both really enjoyed our dishes and highly recommend both dishes! We finished with some nice hot decaf coffee and shared the creamy delicious Bourbon Apple cheesecake and the warm Upside-Down brown butter cake which is suppose to come with mango sorbet. Like they aren't charging you enough for the food, now you have to pay for parking too. Let's not forget the tip for the valet guy too (deserved). The atmosphere is like a man's cave. Dark and like the name, "hunt" decorated. When you enter there are overstuffed leather sofas in front of a fireplace. Tons of photos of animals as well as taxidermy animals. Everything relating to hunting. The place was rather loud with a few large parties. To the point that my guest and I couldn't even hear each other. Once they left, it was nice and quiet, unfortunately, we were about to leave as well. I was told it's best to make a reservation, so I did through open table but I don't think it was needed at the time of our off-peak visit (3.16.2026). Service was great. The waiter kept returning to see if we needed anything and how the food was. It was our first time trying the Oysters Rockefeller ($18 for 6) which is Half Shell Oysters stuffed with a creamy spinach and applewood smoked bacon which were good. At this time, I had nothing to compare them to, but 2 days later, I had them at The Atlantic on Pacific and those were SO MUCH BETTER! A lot cheaper too during happy hour. I had the Filet Mignon ($49) - Garlic and Herb whipped Potatoes, Roasted Broccolini, Tarnished Truth Steak Sauce and Sauteed Mushrooms (I'm allergic to Mushrooms so I had them on the side for my guest to enjoy them). Very good meal. The Tarnished Truth Steak Sauce is so yummy, I could drink it. Complimented the Filet Mignon and the potatoes so well. The broccolini was also delicious. For dessert I got the Smore's Brownie ($10). It was more like a chocolate cake with marshmallow, Caramel and Chocolate Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream. It was not worth the money or the calories. Pretty tasteless. You need walnuts in a Brownie or it's just chocolate cake. I had gotten a Reuben sandwich ($18) to go and it was very fatty like bacon. Unfortunately, it was a waste of money because more than half of it went in the garbage due to it being so fatty. I felt the place was rather pricey and if you are just dining there, I do feel the valet parking should be free or reimbursed by the restaurant (i.e. take the charge off the bill). I think you can find some more reasonable places and better food nearby.

First, let me say the service was absolutely TOP TIER! The staff was attentive, friendly, and the overall atmosphere definitely gave that elevated dining experience. For drinks, I kept it simple with a tequila sunset and substituted pineapple juice for orange juice a good drink! Now for the meals. I ordered the lamb chops with mashed potatoes and green beans. I hate to even say this because I had such high hopes, but the lamb chops lacked seasoning for me. I ordered them medium, but they were definitely more medium rare. I love a medium rare ribeye, but not so much with lamb chops. The mashed potatoes and green beans were decent, but overall needed a little more flavor. My husband had the Butcher's Burger with wedges. He said it was a solid burger, slightly overcooked, but still good overall. He did enjoy the different flavor the pork belly added. My daughter ordered the Pasta Pescatore and said it was good, but not necessarily an "oh my goodness, I have to come back for this" type of dish. Overall, because so many people told me I would LOVE The Butcher's Son, I think my expectations were extremely high. The establishment is clean, more on the higher end, we came in dressed to impress for our date but you had a mix of how people were dressed. Down to just your everyday wear. 10/10 recommend
