Topgolf surprised me! I have only ever played mini golf so... no prior experience. My husbands holiday party was here yesterday. They provided our group of ~40-50 people with a really good buffet-style dinner including a spinach, pecan and goat cheese salad, roasted brussels sprouts with cheese, chicken picatta and a beef carving station, and dinner rolls with butter. They had "fill your own" donut holes and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies for dessert. The open bar was a very nice plus. We had the Merlot and Reisling varietals. There were checkers and huge Jenga blocks and of course, unlimited games at the driving range. There was more than enough space for us all to fit in the dining room. They have multiple floors and a big communal bar at the entrance. My husband taught me how to hit the ball with a driver- the activity was surprisingly a lot of fun. I would recommend everyone try it at least once, especially if looking for a group outing. You can only bowl so many times... next time, try the catharsis of smacking a golf ball into the abyss! read more

I went to top golf for the first time with my boyfriend and had a wonderful time. Javonte our server went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. the other staff was wonderful as well they helped us understand the different games we could play. I cannot explain how wonderful everyone was there. It is a little bit expensive but totally worth the price. the only negative I could say is that they don't really have many blended drinks and I wish the nachos portion size was a little larger but everything was absolutely delicious. the drinks were wonderful and the golf was very fun in. our server Javonte was probably the best server I've ever had anywhere ever. This was my first time visiting a TopGolf (and my first time swinging a golf club so there's that.) Had always heard great things so my team and I decided to give it a shot while in town on business. We rented three booths/lanes and they were accommodating enough to make sure we were all next to each other. We also order a few appetizers which turned out to be better than expected. Crab cakes were the standout along with the potstickers. The facility is huge and really cool technology that makes it fun for everyone regardless of skill level. Spent a few hours at this location on Christmas Eve. Yes, there was a wait but they have lounges where you can enjoy a snack, meal or beverage while you wait or in my case you can opt to get a text message when your bay is ready so you can leave and come back. We had an hour wait so did some bowling at the Andretti car experience nearby. Back to Top Golf. What an amazing and fun experience. This place is perfect for dates, family outings or just a friend hang out. Each ball has an RFD chip inside of it so when you hit it it tells you how hard, how far and where it went. the matching gives you game options so you can select to play by distance, strength, or by getting them into the different holes... there are other games but I can't remember them all. The snacks we had came out pretty fast and the beverages where plenty cold. Every single staff member we encountered was pleasant and not at all bitter about working on Christmas Eve. Unable to comprehend the instructions of splitting a bill amongst 5 people and making the mistake over and over again (plus the disrespect). Don't forget the fact that they overcharged us too. Friendly staff. This was our first time at a Topgolf facility and didn't know what to expect. The staff explain their pricing and pointed out the best deal. We were assigned a bay and were directed to it, they have 3 levels and we opted for the top level. We were greeted at our bay by our server who showed us how to operate the touch screen equipment. A set of men's and women's clubs are located in each bay. The drinks and food were excellent. We will definitely be back. read more

If you love golf you will love Top Golf. If you don't love golf, but you enjoy activities like bowling and putt golf, you will still love Top Golf. If you love eating and drinking good food and drinks, you will love Top Golf. My favorite thing about this location is the shot tracer technology. Not many Top Golf locations are equipped with the technology to show your golf shot shape, apex, speed and distance. The concept behind Top Golf is to hit golf balls at Targets in a driving style type set up, only there are 3 different levels, and your golf balls come with some sort of laser equipped technology so that your booth screen will show you which target you went in and what your score was. There are a number of games to compete from. Each person gets 20 balls to hit per game, and then after that you reset and can play the same game, or choose a different game to play. All the while, you have a server who is taking orders for you on drinks and beer. Every bay also comes with a TV that you can control from your booth, or if you have the Top Golf app, you can change the channel right from the App. Watch Masters Sunday coverage, while hitting balls at Top Golf? Yes! The hours are definitely cheaper earlier in the day. The 2nd and 3rd levels are definitely better than the ground level. It is definitely better to arrive early - especially on Saturday and Sunday. It is not uncommon to see a 2 hour plus wait if you get here too late on a weekend! Especially during holiday season and during the Summer. Don't even bother coming!! Call ahead to check on times. If this is your first time and you are considering if you should go to Top Golf, stop considering and go! Such fun times! Oh and, if you have your own golf clubs, by all means bring them! I have friends who feel embarrassed about bringing their golf clubs to Top Golf. I ask them, if you had a custom made bowling ball, would you leave it at home, or bring it to the bowling alley? Worst Top Golf Experience by far. I get it, Orlando is a tourist trap. Its like eating dinner at an airport and being happy the food wasn't that terrible. Top Golf uses their location to justify atrocious customer service. To set the scene, after arriving to the golf bay, there is a table with menu's where Top Golf hopes to double dip on entertainment and dining expenses. An hour with the driving range is ordered, along with an appetizer and a pitcher of beer. About 20 minutes later a food order is also put in. After our hour of golf hit the 45 minute mark we opted out of renewing for an additional hour. Immediately after declining, a gentlemen with glasses (no lenses)(douche) immediately pressured us to either buy more time or leave the table after it expired. We mentioned food was ordered and that it had not arrived. He said it could be delivered elsewhere. We reluctantly purchased more time with the driving range to avoid the hassle of moving. This was after all, the point where our food was being prepared by waitstaff behind closed walls. Opting not to make too big of a scene seemed like the safest call. Nothing against the support staff in Orlando. They were mostly genuine and one could tell very easily, they all knew their company's process is shit. Say a meal is order at McDonalds, and after arriving to your table, a count down for allowable time to finish the meal begins. Do not focus on anything but eating, the tab is running. Our group of 3 ordered a few pitchers of beer, appetizers and meals. With the addition of the two hours of golf, our bill came to $250 for two hours. Expensive, but fine. Still some beer in the pitcher, so we fill our glasses with our remaining Jai Alai. Before our server even picks up our check, a new group of customers were asking why we were still in the bay they were just assigned. Top Golf Orlando refused to explain why their incompetence led the two groups pitting against each other for the same paid space when other bays were empty. Instead, (and I heard this several times throughout the night) they said the computers control the scheduling, nothing we can do. Bull#^$%. Overriding a scheduling conflict should be at the bottom of any persons customer service qualifications list. This was clearly a fallback answer. Bottom line, Top Golf Orlando's business model can be surmised as get them in, charge as much as possible, get them out. They are much more concerned about the bottom line than consumer experience. read more

Had quite a lot of fun at the new TopGolf near I-drive over the weekend! My only critique is the check-in process looks extremely complicated and busy when you first walk in. I think they can do a better job navigating groups where to go and how to sign-up for the required card. Also, I found the quality of food to be average for the above average prices charged. Other than that, you are sure to have a great time once you get going. I appreciated the fact that clubs are provided for lefties like myself. You also have the option to bring your own clubs. There are games to choose from as well so it's not always about who can hit the furthest. The staff was really friendly and our hostess provided excellent service. She checked on us quite a bit! You can order food and drinks at the bay or enjoy at the bar. They even had the Shark Bait beer from Miami Brewing Co that can be really hard to find. We signed up for 1.5hrs initially then ended up adding on an additional hour. Payment can be spread amongst each person playing too which is really convenient. I saw a variety of groups including some dressed up celebrating a birthday and others just enjoying a casual game. Bathrooms are a bit tricky to find but they are located on each level. Try to get the third level if you can. I felt my ball went further but who knows if that's true lol. read more

For the 2 last times that i have gone i have had a blast, although the servers took FOREVER to even greet us. i had to ask for my server to come to the table because we had been there for 15min without anyone. neither server came to the table to even ask if we wanted to eat. yes i understand it is close to closing but that does mean neglect your customers. my server this last time didn't come to the table hardly at all and then when they called for "last rounds" is when he came up to us. i was a server and im sorry but that is just terrible service. why are your customers waiting at the bay for 15+ minutes without getting greeted and/ or even being brought waters. maybe next time will be as good as my first visit.. fingers crossed. read more

We visited on Sunday January 27. It was a tale of 2 separate visits both in the same day. The first tale - When we arrived at around 5pm we had 2.5 hours before our reservation which was a VIP experience. We grabbed seats by the bar and proceeded to wait about 25 minutes and not a single server stopped despite our trying to get someone's attention several times. One of our party finally got up and spoke to a staff member at the bar and they came over without explanation or apology and took our drink order. He returned about 15 minutes later and one of the 4 drinks (a margarita) was completely tasteless so we asked to replace it with a beer. Another 15 minutes passed and the beer arrived. We ordered a second round of drinks commenting that it seemed to be taking a really long time and the waiter just laughed about it. We ordered food shortly after which took less time to arrive and was good quality. Once again we had to wait another 10 or so minutes just to track down our waiter to pay and he neither acknowledged nor thanked us after settling the bills. Mind you, this was on a Sunday evening and it was not even that busy by the time we got there. The second tale - We checked in for the VIP experience and were promptly taken to our area. Our host, Connor, commented that we were his first VIP experience and I'm pleased to say that he did a FANTASTIC job. Friendly, engaging, checked on us frequently, and really went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. If he had not said anything I would have easily assumed he was a veteran at the role. For 2 of us (myself included) this was our first experience with Topgolf. We had a great time! The different games were a lot of fun and I was very impressed with both the technology as well as how well heated the area was and fairly well protected from heavy rain. Overall we forgot about the initial experience by the time we had left given how fun and professional the VIP experience went. I pondered how to rate this experience for a while. I am giving 3 stars because of the massive disparity between the bar/food service and the VIP experience. A solid 5 stars for Connor and the VIP treatment, but barely 2 stars for what was extremely subpar service and treatment from the bar/food service. We would definitely go back for the golfing part in the future. read more

Bought a summer fun pass membership where you get unlimited play weekdays open till 5pm. When they are not busy, this has been a great deal. I get right to a bay and have no problems. When they are busy however, the service quality decreases dramatically. I get conveniently left off the list, lied to about wait times and buried when waiting for a bay. Employees have told me that I have been lied to by other employees. this has happened multiple times and nothing has been done to fix the issue. I do not recommend buying any passes to the Orlando location. They do not seem too concerned with customer loyalty or satisfaction. read more

First off we had a fun time playing golf here my problems lie with their incompetent and slow servers along with the inconsiderate menu. During our gameplay we were eating and drinking so you would think the server would check in to make sure we were doing ok. After waiting on our server for 30 minutes and seeing all of the servers standing around chit chatting (see attached) I decided to walk to the bar and ask if their impossible Burger, one of their only vegan options came with a vegan bun. The bartender had no idea and said he would look into it. Then the server finally came back and we asked her the same question which she didn't have an answer to. 10 minutes later we finally recieved an answer from our server which was that the bun was made with eggs and that in order to keep it vegan we would have to order it with lettuce instead of bread. After having already waited 45 minutes we informed her that we had already waited too long and would just be eating elsewhere. I'm not sure why a retraunt would promote a menu item as vegan and then serve it with non-vegan items. Overall the game itself is fun but definetly plan to eat elsewhere. read more

I booked a company event here this week for 60 people and they had a blast! Zach Harrison helped us out from the beginning and last minute and he was amazing. The food to the actual event was smoother and easy. We had 60 people and bought a lunch pack Lage from TopGolf as well. For what you're paying you certainly get your money worth. Customer service was outstanding and the food was hot, fresh and plentiful with great flavors. Yes this place is super fun on the regular but if you are thinking about doing group event with a bunch of people I would check them out. They allow you to book bays or full private rooms. this was a really fun experience. the games are kind of expensive during peak hours but between the 5 of us I had a good time and the cost was doable. the food and drinks were good. the service was friendly but extremely slow. when we arrived it took about 20 minutes for a waitress to see us. she was friendly and kind but her service was slow. we were almost done with our first game before we even got our food order. i'm not sure if this is purposeful on topgolfs behalf to promote buying more games. it seems sun. also we had to ask for silverware and condiments multiple times. my friends order was messed up twice. while they comped her meal and apologized for the mistake i'm still disappointed in the less than timely service. other than this it was great and I do have plan return. read more

Social distancing efforts were less than ideal. A flimsy piece of plastic is all that is dividing you from the party directly next to you - and the plastic only extends the length of the table, so nothing is dividing you while actually golfing. I golf right handed and the party next to me golfed left handed so I was always less than 4 feet away from them while playing. I find it unfortunate that other attractions in the area (Universal, Disney, etc) are limiting capacity and TopGolf is continuing to pack people in. I will commend them on their sanitation efforts. I got to watch as the entire bay next to us (on the other side) was fully sanitized, from the clubs to the touch screen. Additionally, our waitress was AMAZING. Very attentive and friendly. I would have given this a 5 star rating if the bays were spaced more appropriately. read more

Fore! Keep an eye out for the newest attraction in town. Topgolf is basically a two-story tee overlooking a wide fairway/green with several targets. Each target is worth a certain amount of points, and the general objective is to hit your golf ball into these targets. There's apparently different games you can play, but we opted for the simple game of aiming and hopefully scoring, since we're all below mediocre golf players. There's three different time groups throughout the day which are priced differently, with the evenings being the most expensive (50$ for an hour of playing). It's a maximum of 6 people per bay, and $5 for a lifetime membership per person. This just means that you pay $5 the first time you go per person, and then pay for the hour of playing as a group. It's a little pricey, but it's different and fun and not your usual mini-golf or putting course. There's different clubs- from drivers to wedges and hybrids, with color coded numbers and yardage to help you choose your weapon. I say weapon, because you should be attempting to destroy the green with your skills. Granted, you might end up missing the golf ball in general or hitting the net right in front of you- but we had a great time. This is a great place to hang out with friends, and I feel it would be fun for people with different levels of golf skills. I can imagine a decent golfer having a grand old time showing off sending golf balls flying into the distance while everyone else skirts them off like we're sweeping them into the course. In all seriousness, I would definitely come back- especially once I have some practice so I can look more like Phil Mickelson and less like like my abuela during Sunday cleaning. read more

It seems like an eternity that I have been waiting for this Top Golf to open and I was so lucky to get invited to the VIP Grand Opening Party the night before it was officially open. The moment we were greeted at the door with a red carpet and VIP badges made the whole experience like a dream come true. Top Golf is a mix between a driving range and sports bar. You get assigned a bay you purchase by the hour and with that comes a nice seating area, which can either be lounge chairs or an actual table if you and your buddies want to enjoy some food while you compete for the longest drive. The range has different colored targets varying by size and distance and your goal is to hit them (at least in one of the game modes). There are various other game settings you can choose. You can keep track of your scores by purchasing a $5 lifetime membership. You'll get a card, which you swipe at the bay to keep record. The building itself has 3 levels of bays and each has a bar with nice seating areas you can have a drink or a bite while you wait for your bay to be available. There are no reservations for this place... it is all first come first serve, which can be rough if the wait is 3+ hours long. However, if you're a golfer you will be a fan of Top Golf. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED in Topgolf... I arrived 17 minutes after the start of "college night" to discover the allowed "cap" of student players was already reached... THE CAP APPARENTLY IS ONLY 12 PEOPLE. Not even 12 bays, but only 12 COLLEGE STUDENTS are allowed to participate... I am amazed that the Topgolf brand is allowed to charade as a "college night" deal when this is what you get!! VERY VERY upset. The person I dealt with at the front was also very unpleasant and not helpful in explaining anything. Overall very dissatisfied with this whole experience.... MAJOR UPDATE.... I LOVE TOPGOLF. I was in contact with a manager of the Orlando branch who assured me this is not a normal experience at topgolf. I came back to this same location and had a completely different experience than the first time. The staff was so pleasant and friendly. The bay was in a great location. The food was AMAZING. I would highly recommend the burgers or chicken nachos! The staff was so accommodating and eager to help us settling in the bay and have a great experience. Overall very satisfied with this topgolf experience and will most definitely be coming back!
