Had a nice lunch here the other day. I got a pulled pork sandwich and fried brussel sprouts. Solid lunch no complaints. I have never tried Carolina style vinegar sauce before. I really liked the fried sprouts and the coleslaw was one of the best I have had. Service was really goo, they made me feel welcome and took care of me. Worth a stop.
Served our table of five in three rounds. We each ordered one drink and one entree. No need to make three trips to us. The first entree they brought was made with the wrong protein. After a little discussion they took it back and made a new order. Waited what seemed forever for them to make it on the fly. Got a halfassed condescending apology from a staff member we hadn't seen before. Perhaps she was a manager - don't know because she never introduced herself. Didn't make up for it with a discount or free item for screwing up our order and not replacing it on the fly. Perhaps I've read Unreasonable Hospitality too many times. Minus two stars for how they handled it. Didn't care how my chicken sandwich tasted. The bbq tasted too sugary. Left smelling like meat. Not going back.
What an awesome find! Brother Jimmy's BBQ immediately caught our attention with the "kids eat free" deal -- perfect for our group of 15 with 5 kids. We were seated in the back room with the arcade, and it couldn't have worked out better. We actually had the whole space to ourselves! The setup was amazing -- our toddlers were able to walk and crawl around on the faux grass, the teens stayed entertained with video games and cornhole, and the adults got to relax and enjoy the food. And the food... absolutely incredible. The loaded mac and cheese was a standout, and the brisket was so juicy and flavorful. Our mouths were watering as soon as the food hit the table. We've been to Orlando so many times and just happened to stumble across this spot while visiting the Orlando Eye -- now it's definitely being added to our regular rotation. Highly recommend!
We decided to come at 8:15pm. I called earlier and their AI assistant didn't mention anything about no dine in but only take out. When we walked in the hostess had an attitude. We ordered a the food came out less than 15 minutes. They forgot our Mac and cheese so we had to go back. The food was room temperature which is too cold for brisket and ribs. The food was not the best. The brisket had no flavor and the ribs were salty. Not worth the $80 we spent. The only thing i enjoyed was my cocktail.
Server Anna was amazing. Great ambience, pulled pork chicken sandwich was fantastic! Great beer choices, lots to look at, games to play. Food was served lightning fast, you can see the meT carver literally cut your fresh meal on site. The buns on the sandwich were basic, but the flavor of the pulled pork & brisket make up for it.
One of thee BEST BBQ restaurants I've been too in a long while. First let start with the Baby back ribs was well done. The fat was crispy and rendered on the rib while the meat was tender and soft. Well done. The brisket was just as amazing. Seasoned well and tender. The sides were good. Could use a better Mac and cheese recipe. Service was cool and restaurant was nice. Oh yea Kids eat free!
I was staying at a nearby hotel and wanted to step out for dinner, but not to a fancy, sit-down place. Barbecue seemed like a nice option. I was promptly seated and decided on the pulled pork platter with fried okra as my side, plus an Arnold Palmer drink. Wow, was service fast. They brought out my food within 1-2 minutes. Pork was good and properly "stringy" (meaning it wasn't chopped into a much). I tried several of the barbecue sauces and enjoyed the chipotle the best. Sadly, the okra seemed overripe when it was fried -- it was way too fibrous. Anyway, my expectations were mostly met and I was pleased overall.
5 star because of the excellent happy hour! Drink specials plus half off most of their appetizers makes it quite the attractive prospect! Cool spot and we enjoyed the sliders and sauces immensely. Helpful bar staff when we asked questions about other spots to check out. Classic bbq aesthetic, which is fine, big back space for parties as well. Will come back

The chicken one was the best one. Brisket was a little dry and pulled pork a little sweet. Sadly, they got rid of karaoke on a Friday and need to update their sign. However, huge place inside with live music. Got a watered down version due to the private event though which was sad.

This BBQ spot delivered on all fronts--delicious food, great drinks, and exceptional service. I started with a local craft beer, and while I regret not catching the name, it was so good that I'll be on the hunt for it during my next visit to Florida. Beers are available by the glass or pitcher, making it easy to enjoy as much as you'd like. The food was absolutely fantastic! I opted for the combo platter (pick three) with brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. If you're craving a sandwich, you can simply order a side of bread and build your own masterpiece. The pulled pork and brisket were the clear winners for me--tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portion size is generous, easily enough for two people to share, and the sides are just as impressive. Make sure to try the cornbread--it's a must! A few perks make this place even better. FREE valet parking is available right in front of the restaurant, which is super convenient. And if you're dining with kids, you'll love that kids eat free all day, every day (with the purchase of an adult entrée). Let me first say, I was shocked when I was told the owners are actually from New York. On our way home from Daytona beach, we stopped through Orlando to get barbecue and have another place in Florida to review. Let me also say this place is in an Entertainment District, so parking is a bit wonky. The place is super cute with lots of typical memorabilia on the walls, and an Elvis bust when you first walk in, and includes a little photo booth. But it's clean and inviting. The server was great and tentative, and food came out pretty quickly. I chose the slider Trio because I eat small amounts regardless. But this gave me an opportunity to try three of their meats: brisket, pulled chicken, and pulled pork. Without having bread or sides, this is a perfect way for me to eat barbecue. We also had a half rack of ribs that did come with one side which was the baked beans. And it came with cornbread. Starting with the trio: the pulled pork without any sauce was actually very flavorful. That is my first test of any barbecue; check the meat before adding sauce. The pulled chicken was also good, a little sweet for my taste. The sauce on it was reminiscent of the sauce of baked beans. But was still pretty good. The brisket was actually really good also. Brisket is such a difficult meat to have tender and be flavorful, and they did both. Eventually I tried the barbecue sauces just to add them on and they were also very good. The chipotle sauce is definitely a little spicy. The original is on the sweeter side. The Carolina was just a basic vinegar, which is not really my thing. Other than just tasting it, I didn't actually use it. For the ribs: we chose the dry rub option, and you can actually see there is a little bit of a smoke ring. These ribs were very large and meaty. The flavor on them was actually really good prior to Sauce being added. The baked beans were really good also, not as sweet as some places I've been, which I enjoy. The cornbread is actually more up my alley of flavor as it wasn't a sweet cornbread, however for me, I have to have my cornbread super warm and lots of butter. But that's me. Def recommend!

Portions and flavor were great! Space looks small from the outside but it's big and nice ambiance. Looking forward to going again.

Eaten at this location twice & both times the food was good. This location is part of a tourist area with a large parking garage. Park on the 4th floor or higher for free parking. They do have elevators & they fo write tickets for parking on lower levels without paying. Brother Jimmy's food is pretty decent BBQ & not ridiculously priced. Some dishes are large enough to share. I recommend the brisket. I ate the lean version which was good so I can only imagine the fattier version tatses amazing. The corn bread is on point, but a bit small. The baked beans are a good side & do not include onions which was a nice surprise. Love baked beans, hate onions. The sauces on the table give you a few options but we stuck with the original which did the job. Ambiance wise, it gives off the BBQ place feel with the communal paper towel roll & minimal silverware. They have a rewards program so make sure to sign up if you plan to eat there often. I was in the mood for BBQ and came here on a weekday for a late lunch. Sitting at the bar, the guys working the bar were very friendly and helpful too. I asked what was good and he suggested their brisket, so I went with it and he also said the dry rubbed ribs were great, so I got those too. He suggested their baked beans for a side, because he said they smoke them, so I got those as well. Report - The brisket was ok. I'm a brisket aficionado and I'm not impressed by pedestrian brisket that seems to impress many. This was dry and didn't even have the noticeable smoke ring I se in better brisket. Flavor overall was decent. The ribs were very good. Nicely smoked and flavored really nice. The beans were kind of boring; not much smokiness to them and they use those tiny, basic, "canned bean" style of bean, which we don't even use at home when we smoke beans. I will say that the cornbread was really good tho! Overall, It was ok... Service was the best thing I experienced. read more

Came here for a family dinner with my sons college baseball team. The food was absolutely delicious! We live in Texas so our BBQ standards are pretty high... this Carolina BBQ was excellent!! The chipotle BBQ and OG BBQ sauces on the brisket & chicken were fantastic... & the Carolina BBQ sauce (a vinegar style) added a great kick to the pulled pork. After eating their BBQ you will know why they are awarded Orlando's BEST BBQ! Did I mention the cornbread??? Superb! Sweet, buttery, goodness in every bite! We had a pre selected meal that offered Tossed Cesar Salad, Carolina Style Slaw, Sweet Corn Bread, Hand Cut Fries, BJ's "Legendary" Carolina Pulled Pork, Smoked Pulled Chicken, Competition Winning Black Angus Brisket. Service was friendly, helpful & had everything we needed to make for a fun and memorable dinner! Around the horn, A+ beginning to end. read more

Best service and food in Icon Park. Food is consistently good. My favorites are the brisket, baked beans, and mac. I was happy to see collard greens on the menu but found them to be way too runny and watery. The pulled chicken was OK too but more in chunks rather than the pulled texture I prefer. Service was friendly and this place is excellent for groups and kids. But in our last visit the server completely forgot one person's order at our table of 7. While we all had our plates and had eaten for a few minutes we did have to ask staff what happened to one of our guest's meals. It was quickly addressed with an apology and the food came out shortly. My parents enjoyed a meat platter as they're big fans of pork, ribs, meats, etc. The platter was presented with a cool blue flame in the middle of the meats. My dad was impressed. If you're looking for value and quality in Icon Park and a place that is good for kids I highly recommend overall. It's tucked away from the crowds nicely and both times we went on weekends with no wait. There was also a cute photo booth in the restaurant that helped entertain my son for a few mins. Good for groups and Boomer parents. We will be back. read more
What a great find. Where we were initially going closed early at 8 pm and we were looking for a late evening place. We were happy the first place closed early because this was a great choice. Absolutely ALL the food was excellent: well seasoned, not too salty, moist, finger licking good. Sides gave the main meats good competition and were award worthy complements. The fishbowl drink was da bomb!! We were all able to drink it and it was not 'weak' especially since it is a very touristy area. Prices were not outlandish since 6 people shared the meal. The flaming meat dish at the table was a good treat. The wait staff was attentive and anticipated our needs before we knew we had needs! So our soda glasses were magically always full, napkin piles appeared, child items appeared with entertainment. The place is huge inside and definitely can accommodate large groups. We had lunch here after hanging out at Icon Park. The servers were very friendly and welcoming. I also liked that they had outdoor seating. The food came out extremely fast which is great since we wanted a quick bite. The ambiance was relaxed as expected for a bbq spot. My only complaint is that I wish the food was more flavorful or they had more bbq sauce options. But all in all, I was pleased with our experience. P.S. 1 kid eats free for every Main Entree you order. I ended up getting a salad so my second kid didn't eat free. Small detail but thought I'd share. read more
This is my go to in International drive for BBQ . Love our server Bella at the bar we always have a good tine with her . Love the location and all the decor that goes along with it so cool. Pigs everywhere and a beer can Christmas tree their decor was on point! Lotta fun and i ordered the three way platter wow Awesome ribs and love the mac n cheese yummm pulled pork was great and the chicken Omg was falling apart so delicious! The ribs i mean that a bbq rib for sure! Great collard greens and also love their corn bread. Good drinks and love the Stillhouse peanut butter bourbon after dinner drink try it so yummy good for digestion! The brisket sandwich could've been bigger so i will ask for double next time! Came in for a quick meal and it server Eric gave some great recommendations and the good was fantastic. We tried the 3 meat combo with brisket, pulled pork and shrimp and it was great. They have sauce on the table but you didn't really need it it enhances but not needed. Priced decent. if they in Icon Park check this place out read more
This place is so cute and has such a cool vibe! Being at an Icon Park, I had to try this place out and I am so glad I did!! Learning about their mission as a business was inspiring. Having a local place where all ages are welcome as a family, to enjoy and play and laugh and eat together is so beautiful and makes this an easy business to support. The few things I tried were all very very good! The pulled pork with juicy and the sauces to choose from all were fantastic! On a soft and spongy Hawaiian roll, I could pops these all day long. The Mac cheese was super rich and creamy but felt like home! I am sooo NOT a veggie girl, but their Buffalo cauliflower were like crack! I could have eaten those alone and been one happy camper. All and all, I am excited for another night out at Icon Park and will definitely stop by this place again. read more

We visited last night. Brother Jimmy's is located in a busy area in Icon Park. Service was excellent, Bella was our server and was very friendly, informative, and helpful. We had ribs, Pulled pork, and brisket. The meats were delicious. I wasn't a fan of the sides, the collards were a tad watery and bland. The Mac and cheese was rich and seemed to be missing something. We went here for my dad's birthday. He loved his full rack of ribs, and he left very full! We also had the brisket nachos that were TRULY HUMONGOUS! The collard greens were also delicious. Our server, Analise, was sweet and responded to us quickly. They play Lenard Skynyrd, AC/DC, Steve Miller Band, Kenny Chesney, and other classic rock and country music. It reminded me of Nashville. We went around 5pm on Friday and got served quickly. There was plenty of seating available. It's worth checking out! Go when you're hungry and try it all! read more

We ordered the brisket baked potatoes with Mac and cheese & baked beans. The potato was a bit too salty for my taste but everything else was good. We initially walked in because of the smell of barbecue. We're from TX & we love barbecue & rustic type restaurants. The host was real cool & helpful & that's what made us want to stay and try it out. Our waitress was friendly & attentive. Total after food and drinks and tip was $85.
