Our daughter's 5th birthday at Main Event turned out to be an amazing experience, even though the planning process wasn't smooth at first. When booking the Pancakes & Play package, I ran into unexpected challenges trying to arrange seating for the accompanying parents. What I thought would be a simple request required several conversations before a solution was found. As a parent of a 5-year-old, being able to sit close enough to supervise the children is important, so I was disappointed that this wasn't easier to accommodate initially. I shared my concerns with Main Event's President, Tony Wehner, who personally responded and committed to working with his team to find a solution. Todd Gurney, the General Manager, then reached out to better understand what I was hoping for and made sure everything was in place before the party. When we arrived, the seating was exactly as discussed. Two tables were reserved near Party Street, allowing the parents to comfortably supervise the kids while still enjoying the celebration. It made all the difference. I also want to give a huge thank you to Adrienna and Zarianna. They were absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, they were friendly, organized, attentive, and genuinely excited to help make the party special. They stayed on top of every detail, and because of them, we were able to relax and enjoy celebrating with our daughter. What impressed me most was not that everything was perfect from the beginning, but that Main Event listened to customer feedback and followed through. It's refreshing to see leadership and the local team work together to make things right. This place was rented out for a work event. I'm sure the employees were just overwhelmed with the amount of people but the attitudes on the bartenders my goodness. We were served beers in plastic cups; which was fine again - work event and a lot of people. We had pizza, tenders, and mini hot dogs. The food was ok. Pretty big establishment. Used to host parties here when I was at my previous job and remember it being great! It's been a few years and I decided to take my kiddos out for a little treat. They had fun with bowling and the arcade games. They offer electronic bumpers and the also had cute little Dino's for the kids to use and roll their bowling balls down. The lanes were fairly empty. The three stars comes for the service. We paid an hour for bowling and we were hungry but no one came to check in on us. 35 min and I had to find a manager to get some water and be able to place our food order. The food itself was good. The fried pickles was the best out of the appetizers we ordered (sliders and fries). Overall good place to have a party and kill a Saturday afternoon. read more

3.5 stars We had our Christmas event here again and it was a blast getting to see everyone, eat together and then kick their butts playing games. The meal provided was tacos with cubed chicken, cut up chicken breast with peppers and onions and ground meat, they had chips but by the time I went up to fill my plate the bowl was empty as was the sour cream and salsa. The servers were great at setting down refills of the meats and rice, they were also great clearing away the dirty plates. We had stopped at Main Event to use an ATM. When we got there we found out they no longer had the ATM. The staff was friendly and helpful. One staff member went above and beyond to find out where we could find one. Even though she said she had only started working there a few weeks ago, she found out the information we needed and promptly relayed where we could find ATM. We were excited to try this place since it offered bowling, arcade games, and sit-down restaurants--all in one spot. We got a lane for five people and were looking forward to some friendly competition. However, as we arrived at our lane, we immediately noticed that the floor was sticky and the table hadn't been wiped down, which was a bit off-putting. About 15 minutes into our game, the kids got hungry, so I asked an employee where we could order food. He said that he would send someone to our lane to take our orders, but after 10 minutes, no one showed up. I then approached another employee who was delivering food to another lane and politely asked if he could take our order once he was done. He agreed, but another 10 minutes passed, and still--nothing. I had to remind him again at their computer station, and while he apologized and said he'd come by after placing an order, he never did. At that point, we only had five minutes left in our game, so we decided it wasn't worth the effort anymore. Instead of extending our bowling time, we left and went to Maggiano's for dinner. Overall, our experience was disappointing. While we were excited to try this place, the lack of cleanliness and poor service made it less enjoyable. If we decide to return in the future, we hope the service improves. In the meantime, management should ensure that lanes are properly cleaned and that staff follow through on customer requests. read more

This place is pretty fun. They have so many things you can do. Bowling, pool tables, arcade games, lazer tag, and a zip line. It is pricey but you can sign up online and get discounts so thats a plus. Service was something we had to hunt for and then wait and then hunt again but eventually we were able to get food orders in. So maybe eat before you go in. We also had to hunt down people to clean areas so we could use but in all fareness it was a very busy day. Bbq chicken my son enjoyed very much. The pizza my kids didn't care for it to much but it was fine for myself and a baby. I myself would not come back. But I can see the allure. read more

We walked over here from our hotel and were impressed by the set up! It's like Dave & Busters, but better. Tons of food and drink options. Service was great as well, our server even introduced me to a new tequila and made me the most delicious spicy margarita. The rundown: if you're seeking a lively environment where the main event is lack of organization and expensive unmaintained products, then you've found the right place. The review: We decided to take our team to Main event, to try as a different type of entertainment gathering. They offered a lively environment with bowling. Contacting them, we were told they do not do lane reservations and only do walk in. Unfortunately it was regretful. We started out with overpriced drinks, which granted is to be expected from such a place. Then went to do bowling. This was a first sign that things were off - they have a LOT of lanes however you cannot simply go in to use them. If anyone is having a special dinner or food event then the lanes are kept open for whenever they finish. We were unable to do bowling. We saw lanes empty for the entire time we were there (around two hours). So we did the backup, and got arcade cards. As usual, these types of locations charge you fees to be able to get a card that utilizes their card system which is always a disappointment as the games are already overpriced. Several games were broken, including a photo booth where you were "charged" to get photos. But the team would not refund any credits so it became a waste. They also kept it open and others experienced same problem, so it started to seem almost tactical as a way to have people run down credits and need to purchase additional. We noticed they had pool tables and tabletop shuffle boards. After inquiring at the bar, it was $10/30 min (for each type). This seemed very steep for barb games but we decided to shuffleboard a go to give the team something different to do outside of overpriced video games. We learned the timer started as soon as the transaction was begun, and if items were not returned before the 30 min ended they would automatically charge your card again. Keep in mind the bar is not immediately next to the area with these tables. We go to play shuffleboard and find out that we were missing pieces to play. So we had to go back to the bar to get the right pieces. 5 minutes wasted of the 30 minutes. We kept a timer to not get charged an additional $10 and returned it before the 30 min were up. And the bar tenders requested tips for this. Overall, the experience felt like very blatant ways to nickel and dime patrons. I understand it costs a lot of money to run these types of businesses but some of the basics were missing (efficient operations, care to upkeep or maintain options for customers, guest service and employee concern). You're better off going to an actual bowling alley, or Dave & Buster's. read more

Came here for some bowling on a weekday and had a decent time. We did an hour of bowling with about 8 people. Since it's only 4 to a lane we took two lanes. One of the lanes wasn't working at first and the pins were stuck. We tried the intercom system but that didn't seem to be working so I walked all the way back to the front desk to find someone to bring attention to it. It took awhile, which would've been fine except we're paying for the time. (Also it's a little inconvenient that the only restrooms are on the opposite side of the building from the bowling lanes) Other than that the bowling went smoothly and they do have a fancy system with lots of features. It even lets you take selfies to go along with your name on the scoreboard. We ordered a few food items and a drink. Although it's a little pricey, the food was actually pretty good but the drink was watered down. Our server never checked back on us so we ended up telling one of the food runners and they finally replaced it. Honestly everything took an unusually long time to come out despite the fact that there wasn't many other people there on a Thursday. I've come to this spot various times with friends and family and I always find it funny that I have different reviews every time. Again Great area to have a nice day outing filled with entertainment , food, drinks , and Just a good time. Area is located in pointe Orlando , so it is surround by multiple franchises and restaurants. More specifically , located right under the regal cinemas. Went on a Saturday morning and it was so fun. We got a one hour playing card. My kids- ranging from ages 4-16 had a blast. I definitely suggest going early because as we were leaving it was busier. We also went for a birthday party and it was a bit crazier. Now the food was so delicious and not expensive at all. We went with 7 kids and 4 adults and only spent $120. They have these bundles that include different food options. One of our kids also has to navigate his meal due to a health issue and we were able to find something suitable. Kids ate so fast that I couldn't get good pics lol the Brussels sprouts, friend pickles and buffalo tender sandwich was our fave. Drinks were delicious and not too over priced. I was taking my little brother to Roboland, but found out they don't open until later in the afternoon. I stumbled upon this arcade, and we went in here to kill some time. It ended up being way more fun than Roboland. My boyfriend, brother, and I had a great time! It is an arcade, so be prepared for kids and noise. This is comparable to Dave and Busters. We were strolling around and encountered Main Event. Im a big fan of arcade type games so we decided to stop by and check it out. We got pulled in, so we got a card and filled it up with points and started playing. Overall, we had a great time. Especially since the drinks were affordable it kept us playing longer. Some games were classics like skeeball, some games were modern like the VR games and some other games were outdated and clunky like the Terminator first person shooter. It had a good proportion of games, just wished that these outdated games were replaced. Came to Pointe Orlando after being at a festival the first part of the day. I've been to the Jacksonville Main Event but not the Orlando one. Service was better at this location in the restaurant area. I ordered a salad with chicken. The only thing is, I got shredded iceberg lettuce, which I've never had in a salad before. It's generally romaine or spring mix. They also put the dressing in the salad instead of on the side. Usually it comes on the side at most restaurants. Was just a bit much when eating it. My partner got the loaded chicken nachos. My kiddo got the kids cheese pizza and fries. I enjoyed my drink. We played a few games, but they really need to get DDR, and House of the Dead. I have been here twice for a work event and a Yelp event. There's a nice variety of video games, a ropes course, laser tag, bowling, air hockey, and pool tables, so there is something for everyone. The food is decent, but that's to be expected as you aren't coming here for gourmet offerings. This is a nice spot for the whole family to enjoy and is located in Pointe Orlando with a lot more to do too as well (restaurants, movie theatre, improv theatre, and shops). P.s. Be aware that they card everyone. Even at my work event where nobody was under 21 including 70 year old men. Most of the party the kids sat and waited around bc nothing was ready. A few parents actually asked if they could step in to help , I think they saw how upset the kids were. Some in the group mentioned items they wanted left off of meals or allergies and those were seemingly not heard, as there was a lot of scraping off of those items. I looked online ahead of our visit. I noticed a $14.99 all you can play offer on their website. I called to confirm this and unfortunately, this offer is not available at their Orlando location. Bummer. I inquired about the rates for bowling and it was $23/hr before 5 plus the cost of shoes. As for the arcade, There aren't any "timed" cards... everything had to be paid based on points. (And each game used around 7points each play). Nonetheless, we decided to come anyways. This is definitely a smaller Main Event than the last one I visited. The facility appeared clean and the staff were friendly. We decided on not bowling (since it would have been about $45 for a game of bowling... about all our kids are willing to do). Instead, we bought $75 worth of points and divided them up between the kids. I noticed an advertisement giving you a 30-minute play card when signing up with them and I did that too. Our kids had a blast playing in the arcade. They $75 allowed them approx. 90 minutes of playing. My husband and I got to enjoy a few games ourselves with the 30-minute card. The prizes, in our opinion, are pretty lame. For $75, our kids won about $1 worth of crap but they were excited and happy to pick out their prizes. BONUS: we got our parking paid for by Main Event. They gave us a ticket to use in the parking garage upon exiting. That was nice! read more

Out of most of the Main Events I've visited, this is probably the worst one. Apparently they don't take Visa as a payment option, and on the basketball game, the balls we're stuck in the net and the people refused to give us our points back when we tried to free them. Also, some kid threw up and the janitor or whoever didn't come to clean it up until 45 minutes after so that vomit smell just filled the whole area. One of the employees was looking at my sister inappropriately (she's eight btw) and we were just treated poorly by the staff. Around the area is like da hood, so it reeks of cigarettes and drugs. This is a neat place located in the dead zone of the once great pointe Orlando. Walking through pointe Orlando after parking I was questioning if this spot even existed because it was a sad ghost town shell of what it once was. Luckily as we came closer to main event we could hear the inside. We started off with bowling which seemed reasonably priced for an hour. My only complaint is how much they oil their lanes. Curving your ball was almost nonexistent. After our hour of bowling we had 20 minutes before our laser tag session so we played a couple of the arcade games. Honestly the best place to come to celebrate a birthday or any celebration. They have everything from bowling to laser tag, it's not too crowded tonight (Monday) which is a good thing. We were a party of 9, they said we had to wait a little bit due to callouts. The initial Front desk service was great but had a few snags once we got bowling. Our lane had several problems and one of the attendants wasn't thrilled to help us. Returning the shoes was also more complicated than it had to be since there were no signs or anything like that and once again, a worker wasn't thrilled to point us in the right direction. Also it was hot, like please crank the air conditioning hot. But this is a great option to extend your date night at Pointe Orlando. And I would go back. We've been here to play games a few times but this was our first time dining here. I'm not sure how the pizza or other people's food taste but I was very happy with my fried chicken wings. Truly one of the most disheveled and crappy dining experiences I have ever had. We ordered appetizers and entrees. After 45 minutes we had not even got our entrees (the place was not busy minus one large party) when our server came to say, "the food is going to take a while because of the big party. Do you want me to bring it all at once or as it's ready?" Now they have an open kitchen and we had seen food sitting under the heat lamps for easily 20-25 minutes without anyone grabbing it. We asked what that food was and they had no answer. Then magically not even two minutes later our sever came and said "oh actually your food is ready and coming now" what? So that was our food sitting there this whole time. We were served our entrees 45 minutes later...still had not gotten any appetizers. I asked to cancel our app but another couple sitting with us finally got their app 5 minutes after the entrees were served. A friend Who joined us late ordered her meal probably 10 min before our food arrived and got hers at the same time. Total confusion with a ton of servers, no one seeming to even try to lead or help organize what seemed to be a confused kitchen. When our food was brought to us the food runner basically just held food up and asked who it was for. Again with the open kitchen we also saw the same bus boy running his hands through his hair, scratching his head all night then grabbing plates. We saw a server rolling silverware while watching tv on her tablet. When it came time for the check it took another 20 minutes. All in all it took us over two hours to eat!! And not one sorry or explanation. No reason why app orders were never even put in or checked on. No reason why food sat in window for so long despite several people standing around doing nothing. I have some family in town and we wanted to go bowling and saw this place was nearby. We were quite literally the only customers in the building which in hindsight was a bit of a red flag. However the woman we spoke with at the front desk was very kind and helpful and we were excited to have the place to ourselves. The first lane we were brought to was broken and had no pins. We had to walk back to the front and the staff had somebody look at it and determined we needed to move over one lane. No big deal, we were able to keep our things in the same spot since the new lane was right next to us. This lane sort of worked, however the mechanism that's meant to lift up the still standing pins wasn't lifting up all the pins so some of them were getting swept and added to our scores. None of us are particularly competitive so it wasn't a huge deal but it shows none of the equipment is working properly. About halfway into our game, this lane froze and all the mechanisms stopped working just like the first one did. We once again had to stop and get a staff member from the front to call someone to fix it. They weren't able to and had to move us again, two lanes down this time so we had to pick up all of our things. We were given extra time for the inconvenience which was nice but in my opinion didn't make up for the overall experience. The facility is otherwise nice and we had fun despite the obstacles, but a business of this scale should have their equipment up and running better. read more

I went and ask the manager for ranch which took a while for us to receive. After about 30 minutes of receiving the food the waitress came by to check on up, we ask for refills but did not see her again so we had to go to the bar to get our own drinks.
