More Expensive, Less Joy - I'm not happy with the "new" Clermont Bowling. When I visit family in Clermont (I live out of state), I like to take them bowling and, in past years, we've have good times at Clermont Bowling. But things have changed, and it seems to be all about them making more money even if it makes your experience unpleasant. Their current pricing model charges you per person, per hour, payable in advance. When making a reservation for 5 people, I learned that I could not have 2 lanes; all 5 of us would have to bowl on one lane. When we got there, we got put on a lane that shared a ball return with another group of 5. Each lane only has 4 seats, so there was not room for all of us to sit. The ball return was overcrowded with all our balls, and they were falling on the floor. Two hours and $100 in lane fees later, we were able to finish 2 and 1/2 games. A couple lanes away, a single bowler spent $17 for the lane for an hour, including shoe rental, and finished 4 games. His buddy, also a single bowler, was in the adjacent lane. In addition to the $100 we spent on lane fees, we also spent another $100 on food and drink. As I remember, they used to have servers. Now you have to walk to a window to order and wait for someone to take your order. You also have to wait for them to prepare your drinks while your fellow bowlers wait for you to come back to take your turn. All the while the clock is running on your bowling time. They DO bring your food to you, but they never come back. You are expected to bus your own dishes. Oh, they used to have beer on tap, and sell beer by the pitcher, but no more. I guess they make more money selling you individual bottles, one at a time. But that doesn't mean they forgot to leave the line for Tip off the receipt. Unfortunately, there's not another bowling alley in town, so we'll probably be back, after we do mini-golf, go-carts, and anything other fun thing we can find. read more

For social bowling it is fine. The fact it only has 10 lanes limits the leagues it can support. Also doesn't have a pro shop.

I love this location. So much fun! It would have been nice if it didn't take the lady behind the register so long to warm up to us. She seemed a bit annoyed to be helping us. I hate to put it this way, but mostly because the group spoke Spanish. Even though several of us spoke perfect English. She eventually came around and warmed up and we even gave her some desert. read more

It's a nice small bowling alley. Have been there a few times for birthday parties and even one of my kids had one of theirs there. I really wish they'd have some times during the week where you can pay per game instead of it always being rental. As someone who used to be very competitive in bowling growing up, I want to bowl a specific number of games, not just the set amount of time. And with kids, they're always fooling around and taking up time with anything but bowling. I get it from the alley standpoint knowing set times and everything, but it's kept me away from here most of the time. read more

Came here for the first time and didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! It's a small bowling alley with only 12 lanes and no bowl shop (to come fall 2024?). But there is separate room with billiards pool tables, and an adjoining room with a bar. They also served food (which I didn't get this time). Worker Daniel M. was super friendly and helpful. It's a small establishment, but the staff was super friendly. Very well priced. They had a special ball for my 7 year old son, so he could enjoy the bowling experience. The only downside was that I had trouble finding a proper ball size & weight for myself, which frustrates my gaming experience, but overall, we had a blast! I recently spent an afternoon at the Clermont Bowling Lanes. It cost $35 for six people to use one lane for one hour. Shoes were included. We stayed for two hours and had a great time. The lanes were in perfect shape and the electronic scoring system worked great. We ordered a bucket of beer, fried pickles, onion rings and fries. The beer was not especially cold but the food was exceptional. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely return often. read more

There is a lot to say about a small place when it comes to pool in these parts. I'll keep it simple for that reason. Most people around the immediate area own their own pool table. You want one anywhere near, you must go to a straight out bar. While yes, it is a plus that there are drinks available here, there is bowling, kids games, choice music box, decent side eats and locals. There are four tables, so still should call ahead on busy nights. One of the nights I can remember my wife said she had fun, so a four star is a must for the area. You want a pool hall? There is nothing better then heading out to an old school bowling alley. Their process for food and bowling are great. There are two entrances. One brings you in to the bar and the other brings you into the lanes. When you come in you are facing the lanes and the staff at the register are very quick to acknowledge you and get you in. They even type in the names for you so that you are ready to bowl. When you are ready for food and drink they have a great bar. The food is very good. I am a fan of their wings which have a very good flavor with just a little bit of bite to it. The Yuengling is very cold and delicious. Overall, this is probably the best bowling alley in town. read more

I love laser tag, and there are not many places in the Central Florida area, so we thought we would check out The Tree Laser Tag in the bowling alley. It was actually pretty good, and they had a variety of games, music and lighting. It was $10 for two games..not bad, but wish they had an "unlimited" option. read more

I was so excited to try out the local bowling alley with some friends for a pals birthday. He was turning 21 so we wanted to put together a small shindig for him so we could celebrate and utilize their bar while knocking down some pins. I know some alleys have leagues and busy nights so I decided to call ahead and talk to them about getting a lane. They told me that I wouldn't be allowed to bring a birthday cake, because no outside food is allowed.. But they don't make birthday cakes. When I told them how silly that sounded they said that if I wanted to bring an outside cake I would have to "book the birthday party through them" which, after a painful attempt to extract information from the staff means: even though shoe rental and games are $2.50 each You have to pay in advance for 10 people at $18 a person for the use of a lane PLUS a $50 deposit. $230!! no. I'm no economist, but this just seems like horrible business practice especially considering the fact that I would have spent nearly that amount in a bar tab for such a function. I regret to say that I lost it on the phone with the lady when she began to interrupt me while I was trying to figure out some sort of compromise. I awarded her the capability of justly hanging up on me which is totally my fault. I regret to say that I won't be a patron of this business even though I was excited to bowl at a midcentury bowling alley minutes from my house. :( read more

I've been to this bowling establishment twice so far. Both times the counter staff was very helpful and friendly. However, the bartender seems to always make me feel like I'm inconveniencing her when I go to the window to order drinks. Despite this attitude I always leave a fair tip. Would it kill you to smile and show some gratitude to the customer? The game room needs a total tear down and update with the room and the games. On a good note the attendant in this area was very attentive and helpful. Overall it's a half decent fun place to spend a few hours that's convenient if you live in Clermont. If ever someone decided to build a new bowling alley in Clermont, this place would probably go out of business shortly after its grand opening. read more

Brought 10 kids plus parents for my kids' birthdays. It was awesome. Morgan was ready for our crew when we arrived. Cake no, but cupcakes yes! We did not rent out the party space and they still allowed us to celebrate at the lanes we were at. Food, good. They checked on us periodically for clean up and refills. I thought the bartender was, well, a bartender! She took excellent care of all 20 of us without a blink, and the girls at the front were amazing too!, I love there are only 12 lanes... it's a small establishment if you are not in the mood to mingle with tourists for cosmic bowling. Clermont Bowling Lanes is my FAVE - I prefer it to some of the "higher-end" (touristy!!) options you can find near I-drive. My husband and I actually go out of our way to visit this location. The food is great, down home and very reasonable. Aside from fast food, I don't know where you can find a good sandwich for $6 and some change. The staff is great also. I had a great experience with Jai at the bar. She makes a killer margarita, and has a fun, friendly personality. Speaking of fun, William behind the register always makes us smile. He's always on the move and keeps the whole place sparkling. I love that this place is part bowling alley, part arcade, part dive bar (bowling and darts!), part restaurant. Only six lanes. I've never heard of a bowling alley this small but it is in clermont so you can't expect too much. Still the youth outside selling drugs was a bit of a turn-off. Despite arriving at 7:00 on a tuesday because it was league night we were told that we wouldn't be able to even try for a lane until 9:30! None of us wanted to hang around after dark so I admit we decided to skip bowling. Maybe if we had stayed it would have been ok but that's the only reason for the second star. I've have my Grandsons birthday party at the lanes for two years. Did not rent the party room-this is very expensive. But otherwise the place is great. The food is great, we ordered fries, pizza, drinks and we had a great time and lots of fun. There were 10 of us, so we put two tables together and ate while we were bowling. We ordered drinks and she was eating KFC when trying to assist us and got annoyed she had to stop eating to get us drinks (btw, it was Saturday night at 9pm).
