Fun Spot is really fun if you go without any expectations. It has a decent variety of rides, and it's not as tiring as spending a full day at a larger theme park. They have a lot to do in a relatively small space, including roller coasters, a racetrack, Ferris wheel, kids rides, splash pad, arcade games, alligators, and more. We have an annual pass for the kids, and we usually get the chaperone band since a few rides require an adult to ride with the child. There is no admission ticket required to enter the park, which I really like. You can either buy tickets for individual rides or get a pass if you plan to visit more often. The ride attendants follow the height requirements pretty strictly, which is good to see. There is also a large cafeteria, and the food is okay, not anything special, but convenient when you're there with kids. The annual pass is definitely worth it for us. Fun spot has been a staple for my family since I was a kid. My brother and I used to love racing around on the go karts. We first started doing this in magical midway, but when that felt too rickety and unsafe, we started looking for other parks, and that's when we found fun spot! I had a couple hours in the afternoon to use up between hotel check out and the conclusion of my husband's conference, so I took my kids to Fun Spot. I had heard from locals that it's a great local option over the big theme parks. Fun Spot was pretty great, for what it was. Free parking, free admission if you don't plan on riding rides, also a discounted adult pass if you only are going on rides with your kid who is too young to ride alone. The whole place was small, maybe the area of a handful of city blocks. And on the Sunday afternoon when we went, the place was quiet enough that we never waited more than a few minutes to get onto a ride. As we were only there for a couple hours, the cashier recommended the 4 ride pass for my kids, and the companion pass for me. But if one were to spend more hours there, buying the day pass online for $59.95 is quite a bargain. Not all rides were open, but the "big" rides that most kids want (the roller coasters and the go carts) were open. My daughter, who is not a big roller coaster fan, had a harder time finding kiddie rides that she actually wanted to go on, and she watched the go carts and didn't even want to try those with me driving. However, the place was small enough that I felt fine leaving my 10 year old son to go on rides by himself while I went on the Ferris wheel or the merry go round with my 8 year old. There are a bunch of food options available throughout the park. They were definitely more affordable than Disney prices! Most of the places offered souvenir cups with discounted refills, but there were also water stations set up throughout with free cups. I'd definitely come back if I had a few hours to burn and the kids didn't want to go swimming. Hopefully at some point, my daughter will change her mind about roller coasters, though! read more

I went here this week with my family. The staff was very nice and friendly, especially the girl at the ticket booth. We went right when they opened on a week day and had the whole park to ourselves. My sons had a great time and rode everything numerous times. They had a Cinnabon here ton which was a plus as well! They also have a very nice Arcade as well... This place has been around for so many years... we visited this past weekend and our visit prior to that was about 8 years ago! Kids had a blast and therefore we enjoyed our time here. We went with the unlimitted rides tickets, about $35 for Florida residents. Place was quite empty so we were able to ride everything more than once. Ferris wheel, flying chairs, freedom flyer roller coaster, wooden roller coaster, carousel, bumper cars, head rush, bumper water boats. This spot has a city fair feel with the type of rides and food areas they have. There's an area for the younger kids, arcade, fun house, fun slide. They also have a gator area with a couple of enclosures with gators (from babies to full grown). The rides more daring were the hot seat (giant arms that swing you back and forth more than 180 degrees) and the sky coaster (they said it's the World's Second Tallest SkyCoaster at 250 mph and closest thing similar to jumping out of a plane). One thing I feel makes this place worth it are the multiple tracks for race cars. Those are quite fun and they have like 5 here! Anyways, this a recommendation to do if you're in the area. It's been around a while and I do feel some things need some remodeling or TLC but it's still a fun place to stop by. read more

I recently brought two students here for a field trip and we had a good time overall! We purchased tickets through Groupon for $62 (regular price is $69 for unlimited rides), which I think is a great deal considering how much they were able to do. I also liked that there's no entry fee for non-riders and you can purchase rides à la carte. I ended up paying $12 for a go-kart ride and LOVED it We got there around 12 PM and it wasn't crowded at all. The lines were super short, so the students were able to ride things 3-4 times with no problem, which made it even more worth it. One of the best deals was the all day dining pass (you have to buy it online). For $24, you get 2 meals and a snack, which is a steal compared to the regular menu prices. Our first stop was Cluckees where we had tenders, wings, and fries. The portions were HUGE and everything was tasty, especially the fries. None of us could even finish our food! For our snack, we grabbed ice cream. The kids loved it, but it wasn't my favorite. Later, we went back to Cluckees for a chicken sandwich and fries for dinner. This time it wasn't as good as earlier. Maybe a different cook or just an off moment. We didn't spend time in the arcade and stayed mostly outside. The park is a pretty decent size with plenty to do. Even as the day went on and traffic picked up, it never felt overly packed. The staff was friendly and very laid back, which added to the relaxed vibe of the day. Overall, it was a good experience. The kids really enjoyed it. I'd give it a 3.5. Btw I think there is a bee problem there. I saw bees flying around often. Not enough to ruin the experience, but I definitely noticed them. read more

Came to Fun Spot specifically for the Drone Show. Parking was very simple. Admission is free. They just quick search your bags. It was dog friendly too. The drone show started at 8. We got there around 7. They had signs showing the best areas to see the drones but they were not necessarily. The best place to see it was by the splash zone facing the outside of their location and in the parking lot. It was really nice and quick which is to be expected of drone shows but definitely enjoyed it. It wasn't too crowded either so it was nice to see with no craziness. Glad we were able to see it. Fun spot has lots of rides for the kids like a fair or carnival. They have per ride options to pay and packages. I didn't look into it but the line to get tickets for rides was long. Today I took my daughter to Fun Spot to enjoy a day together and purchased an annual pass for her. We decided to ride the go-karts. I grew up riding go-karts and four-wheelers, so I am very familiar with how they should operate. While driving at a normal speed, I came around a corner and saw a pile-up of go-karts. I immediately pressed the brakes to avoid hitting everyone , but the brakes did not work. I crashed very hard into the other carts. After the jam was cleared, I drove up to an employee to explain what happened. Instead of taking it seriously, he looked at me like I was crazy. He then stood up on the go-kart, pressed the gas, and began steering while standing and going fast , with my daughter still in the cart. I told him he was scaring me. I honestly thought he was going to hit his head on the overpass, and I yelled for him to duck, which he did. When he attempted to brake, he said, "Oh yeah, you're right, it doesn't work." He told me to just drive around slowly and pull in. I immediately parked the go-kart because it was clearly unsafe. I had only completed one lap. When I asked if we could ride again due to the unsafe equipment, the employee went to ask someone and returned saying no, because I could not skip the line , even though the ride was cut short due to faulty equipment and I had already waited a long time. I then asked if the go-kart would be removed so no one else could get hurt, and he said they would "do it later." I went to the front to report the incident. Over the radio, I heard the employee say that I just wanted to skip the line, which was completely untrue. I made it clear that I did not care about riding again. my concern was safety and preventing someone else from being injured. After the crash, my daughter complained of stomach pain, and my neck was hurting as well. The impact was very hard. I work at a chiropractor's office and understand how easily injuries can occur in situations like this. What upset me most was how unprofessionally and recklessly the situation was handled. The young employees laughed when I said I was scared and did not check to see if we were okay. This is exactly why people get hurt or seriously injured at places like this , because safety concerns are ignored, brushed off, and not taken seriously. This type of careless response is why injuries happen at amusement facilities when proper safety protocols are not followed. People end up injured and needing medical care after incidents that could have been completely prevented. This experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. Fun Spot needs better safety protocols, proper equipment inspections, and improved employee training when it comes to guest safety and accident response. read more

Used to come here as a kid when it was smaller and not as big now bringing my nephews here is nostalgic. They love it here with the roller coasters and the fast rides that I had to beg them to leave LoL . They are open late so we had gone there around 9pm and left close to midnight. We have (2) Grandsons we took to Fun Spot America for the 1st time, they are 13/14. We came early and both got all day pass wrists bands. They loved the Roller Coaster, Go Karts and our daughter went on several rides with them. They fed the Alligators, and we spoke to (1) of the Parrots, the white one. The food was pretty good, l had a funnel cake & ordered it with cinnamon, and she gave me white powdered sugar that was all over my pants. There was a Police man watching over the crowd. I almost forgot to mention Lance at the South Gate that greeted us with Joy & helped direct us for our wristband. The boys definitely want to return next year. We took the kids for a day of fun to Fun Spot America. We literally arrived right at opening, 10am. There was really no one around. Going after the 4th of July holiday was perfect. Upon entry, your bags are lightly checked for food, liquids, pepper spray and metal objects. The ticket line moved quickly. If you purchase tickets online, it $60 per person. Including kids. If you purchase at the venue, it's $70 per person. You also have an option to turn your one day pass into a 3 Day or season pass. This will get you into all 3 Parks. Orlando, Kissimmee and Atlanta. Purchase the meal deal online too. $25 gets you 2 meals. Food option and a side. A dessert for later & a snack. Drinks are not included but the price is perfect for the day. *$11.99 for unlimited refillable drink. $7.99 if you purchase 3 or more. We head over to what we thought were going to be Cabana's by the splash pool. It turned out to be a splash pad for kids. This is very deceiving because the pictures online make it look like there's a pool there. I paid an additional $150 to watch other kids play..Lol When the concierge contacted me to check how I was settling in. I expressed my disappointment. She apologized for the inconvenience. Note: the cabana came in handy because there was a heavy downpour. We used it as shelter. We spent all of our time in the park. We did almost all the rides before the downpour. Started at the Ferris Wheel. We overlooked the park and that was cool. The Guys jumped on White Lightning- the wooden roller coaster. High speed and screams was all I heard. We took on All 3 Go-Cart Tracks. *The commander took us 45 feet in the air. That drop tho. It was an adrenaline rush. *The Quad Helix is a multi level corkscrew yellow track. Dust and dirt flying around everywhere. Hard turns and wild times. *The Conquest is a figure 8 style track with single and double seat go-carts. This was really good for my 7yr old grandson who rode this one 5 times. ‍ *Hubby and Jacobie took on the Freedom Flyer. John rode it 1st. Then he took Jacobie. 60 seconds of thrills. *John wanted to be romantic and ride the carousel. They told us that we had to sit in the chairs. The horses are only for the kiddos. *I laughed like crazy on the Bumper Cars. I believe I got a tough of whiplash. So much fun. *Rip Curl was fun too. The boys spent around and around. I couldn't handle when it began to go backwards. Oh My Goodness . *HeadRush 369 is for pure adrenaline junkies. That ride spun them every which a way but loose. They were totally upside down for 5 seconds. I have video footage . *The Midway games were classic. For a price. Balloon Bust, Hot Spot Basketball, Water Gun Fun & Hammer Game for the young at heart. *There's a Hanging Game. If you can hang for 2min 15 seconds- You win $200!!! *OMG , At Gator Land, I held a baby alligator. It felt like rubber. Why does Gator tail taste so good? We came here because of their ad for their 25th anniversary and it stated free admission and free parking -- can't beat that right? We went on a Saturday morning and the parking lot was almost empty. That's always a plus for me cause that means no lines but it could also mean it's not a fun place. This place can get expensive, regardless if you get a wristband or a money card. They don't charge by age or height, they charge by ride -- smart business move but not for the consumer. For 2 adults and a 2 year old toddler wristbands and their 3 souvenir cups, the total came out to be $215+. My son could only ride maybe 3 rides total because he wasn't tall enough for most rides, even the ones with an adult. Not worth the $60 wristband. Don't forget to mention a discount from the website, it's a $5 discount but it's something! The park isn't big and the rides are limited. I would say a money card would save you more money in the long run. One of the roller-coasters was down too so it's one less ride. Go-karts were fun and super cool but there's no direction on which lane is for which since they have 3 different tracks. Overall, I would go again since I have the souvenir cup and it's free to get in. Their wooden rollercoaster wasn't that exciting but still fun. We got the tickets and went up there but it was a bit confusing finding exactly where to go and then it took a while for someone to come up there. Drove all the way from San Diego to Florida and was denied entry because I wasn't 21? How is an AMUSEMENT park denying me access when I just crossed multiple states on my own . Then the security had to get aggressive for no reason mind you I'm 20 and a female. Pathetic no wonder the park was EMPTY. About 20 people had to leave for the same reason just sad and lame. Even though I live here in Orlando for 7 years, I have never been to Fun Spot Orlando in my life! I know what a shame! Because it is a FREE admission and FREE parking Theme Park! You only pay if you want to ride, singular rides for $7 or $12. Or you can get online the unlimited for $59.99. I have been there twice this past months. And now for Halloween they have this really cute trick or treat every saturday, and is free! It is 4 stations! From 4PM-6PM. And after they have a party. My stepdaughter is autistic so we have to be careful, we took her there for the first time and guess where she was the for 2 hours? In the splash zone! She loved it! She did not want to ride any rides, we tried. But she had such a great time in the Splash. We took our wagon so she would feel comfortable ! We did some trick or treat. Me and my boyfriend at some snacks! My favorite drink is the Lemonade! It is so good and you can get refills! We also love the Johnny Rockets burgers! I will start this by saying if you are looking to just do go-karts this is a good value for that. If you're looking for a fun day out with the family you may be better off going somewhere else. I was disappointed that there were no signs or mention of the closed attractions at the ticket counter. You kind of had to figure out what was open as you walked through the park. Since they have two coasters my kids were disappointed that the yellow one was closed the entire time we were there. The fun house had a couple areas that didn't work. One of the areas looked like the floor was meant to spin but it didn't. So it's mostly just walking through with a slide at the end. The bumper car is also had quite a few of the cars that didn't work. So while in line we watched people not be able to move. One of the employees noticed and just told the girl she wasn't driving the car properly. When it happened again to the next person it didn't seem like a driver error. The go-karts were fun. We did see a girl who slammed into the back of the other karts and they put an x on her band. So it was reassuring to see they do something if people drive recklessly. There were water fountains placed throughout the park. I do wish there were fans at the ride entrances to help battle the Florida heat. I know my kids and I would appreciate it! My son chose to come here to celebrate his VPK. graduation. We have been here numerous times as we live close by and he absolutely loves it. Financially, it makes more sense to purchase a season fun pass for the year than to purchase a one day all you can ride wristband. If you go just twice in the year it ends up being worth it. With the season fun pass, it includes a "buddy" pass so if there any rides he can't ride alone due to being too short, I can ride along with him. I'd say the best rides are the go karts! We have such a blast on them. I do think that this fun spot is a little run down and some rides could really use an update. As a frequent Disney goer, you can see the big difference, so don't expect the magic of Disney, but it's still a lot of fun for smaller kids. The rides don't have long lines but it is a little annoying how not every ride has an attendant so sometimes you're waiting for one to come over from another ride. All in all, it's a fun time but make sure to stay hydrated because there is not a lot of shade and during the summer it gets super hot! read more

A group of us came to Fun Spot Orlando at the end of October 2020 to celebrate my wife's birthday. Fun Spot provided FREE admission for my wife and a 1st responder discount (21% off) for the rest of us because our friend Darlene is a firefighter (Thank You, Darlene!). Today was my second time visiting the Orlando location; looking back, I remember having a total blast the last time we were here. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, the park is limited on staff, causing multiple rides to be turned off or operated at half capacity. The staff would open rides when prompted; however, one ride would be shut down to start another one. One of the main reasons we enjoy Fun Spot is because of the go-cart tracks. On this visit, only two of the four go-cart tracks were open, with a maximum of seven carts operating per ride. The limited riding capacity was causing lines to build up, which in my opinion, is worse than putting more riders on the track. Although Covid-19 screwed the overall fun factor of our visit, we were still able to have a good time. Fun Spot's rides are on a much smaller scale when compared to Universal or Disney, but they still make for a great time with friends. The staff are friendly and allowed our group to experience the same ride multiple times back-to-back as long as no one else was waiting, which we appreciate. With all the Covid-19 protective measures in place, it is difficult to let loose and have a good time here. The customer is not getting a bang for their buck. All of the outdoor food vendors were closed, customers are required to seek out staff to open rides, and day passes are $52. I highly recommend coming here for a fun day out with friends; however, it might be best to hold off until Covid-19 takes a hike. Fun Spot is a great alternative to the huge theme parks here in Orlando. I've been here several times with family and friends and it's always a good experience. I've seen this place pretty dead, like almost nobody there and it's kind of fun to see the employees run from ride to ride to help you. I've also seen this place extremely packed, but even when it's super busy, the lines for rides still aren't crazy. Longest line was probably the line to buy a wristband at the entrance. I purchased a ticket online and an employee over the phone told me I was able to redeem it in the back of the arcade! Great tip! Rides here are pretty similar to fair rides and two (smaller than usual) roller coasters are here too. The wooden one is shaky and a touch violent but that's a wooden roller coaster for ya! Rides are all pretty safe and the different go kart tracks are awesome. There's bumper cars, an arcade, a mini Gatorland area, and a couple rides that look super scary and are fun for people like me! There isn't a theme to anything really besides "Fun Spot" of course so it doesn't have the same magical themed stuff like Disney or Universal, but it's still all the same fun as them, minus water rides and people in giant costumes. This place lives up to its name! Have never been here before and found out about this place from a friend. Tickets for the two kids were circa $100 and adults got to chaperone on certain rides. I got here around 11am and place was pretty quiet. No lines and parking was nice and easy (and also free!). You can buy refill cups - beer cups at $9 initially then $3 for refills thereafter. The cups can be used throughout 2021. Few good choices - aunty Annie's pretzels, pizza, chicken tenders, burgers, fries, dipping dots - plenty to choose from. My favorite ride was the go-kart. Never been on a go-kart before and I went when it was raining - what an experience! Plenty of rides that are toddler friendly too with short wait times. Definitely had an amazing time here. Made the most out of the unlimited pass and ended spending 10 hours of the day here. Truly recommend checking it out if you are into rides! read more

I've been a little apprehensive about going to theme parks since COVID, but had a Groupon for Fun Spot, so figured we'd start small and see how it goes. They have done a fairly decent job of ensuring everyone is wearing a mask and physically distancing. Of course there's only so much control they can have over patrons when it comes to that. They are pretty good about sanitizing in between rides, seating every other row, and having markers in place for distancing. It was a beautiful day to be outside and at the park. Wasn't too crowded and the rides are pretty enjoyable. Great fun for the entire family. They have a section for the kiddie rides and a chauffeur pass is included with the ticket if you need to ride with the kids. They have a pretty good selection of rides. And a park that has a wooden roller coaster always wins! White Lightning is the best ride, hands down!! You can plan to spend the day or just a few hours. And bringing your own food is also an option! So if Disney or Universal isn't quite in the budget, Fun Spot is a good alternative.
