What do we say about this place? The good: they have a lot of really cool games and have gotten some new ones recently. Half-price game day is a great bargain. We love that we can watch a game on the big TVs. Prizes are usually pretty good but require too many tickets in our estimation. Their food is pretty decent. There is always been lots of available parking, I've never had any trouble finding a spot even though I drive is so busy. The bad: someone ate half of our chocolate cake which we took to go. There was an entire investigation at the restaurant as to what happened and I still have no idea what the outcome is. The fact is half the cake was gone when we got at home. The crowds can be a little difficult to deal with. There's a lot of people in there just walking around also and not playing any games. Some of their recent remodels have removed large sections of games in favor of large interactive group style games. We aren't interested in those at all and preferred to have more arcade style games on the floor. read more

Here's a more polished, credible, and impactful version: This was, unfortunately, the worst experience I've had at any Dave & Buster's location. The issue wasn't simply that my meal was prepared incorrectly--it was how management handled the situation. I ordered salmon that arrived significantly undercooked. When I sent it back, our server handled the situation professionally and was both courteous and apologetic. However, from our table I observed the manager, Dalton, visibly berating the server while pointing toward us instead of focusing on resolving the issue. No employee should be treated that way for bringing a customer concern to management. When my mother spoke with him directly, rather than acknowledging the problem, he insisted the salmon was properly cooked and suggested the issue was that we hadn't specified how it should be prepared. Salmon should be cooked to a safe temperature unless a guest specifically requests otherwise, and the photos speak for themselves. What should have been a simple correction became an unnecessary argument. Good managers de-escalate situations, support their staff, and prioritize guest satisfaction. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. To make matters worse, we never received the Power Card promotion that was supposed to come with the meal. The one bright spot was our waitress, who remained friendly, professional, and genuinely tried to make things right despite the circumstances. She deserved far better support from management than what we witnessed. A restaurant can recover from a kitchen mistake. It's much harder to recover from poor leadership and a refusal to take accountability. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location. read more

I came here with a group of students for a field trip on a Tuesday. I was so impressed with how the business handled the kids and the organization of lunches. They had staggered times and a room big enough for our group of 50. The kids all got a playing card and there was plenty of games for them to play. At lunch they served sliders, fries, and fruit. To start the locations air conditioning was not working, they did have multiple portable units around but with the number of people inside it was super hot, also there were a couple different camp groups and I did not see much in the way of supervision. We went for my son's 12th birthday on a Tuesday. During the World Cup... they didn't have any specials or combos available. The parking lot was scattered with litter and the elevator was dirty inside, there were cobwebs everywhere. There weren't many "new" games. The games where you could earn a decent prize were all 10 chips. So not really "affordable" unless you go one a Wednesday. Prize selection was lack luster. The A/C does not work so they have these portable A/Cs set up everywhere making it super hot unless you're in front of the vent which several people were just standing in front of. I went to Dave and Busters on a weekend to have some dinner, play some games, and watch a little football. When we entered it was packed and super busy but we decided to stay anyways. When we went to the hostess station they only had one worker and they seemed to be a little overwhelmed. After about 15 minutes we were seated in one of the best spots, all the way in the back in front of 3 big screen TVs. It was a perfect view to watch all the games going on. We sat at our table for about 15 minutes before someone came to get drinks. Then it probably took another 20 minutes to get our drinks and then about another 20 minutes to place an actual order. I understand that they were extremely busy and I am very compassionate for servers but management knew this was going to be a busy weekend and they should've staffed accordingly. Where we were seated it was also next to the restaurant's photographer station, so when we needed something or a server he was polite enough to help us out and get what we needed. I also want to add a manager did come to help out the server and was very nice. Once we got our food we were pleasantly shocked on how good all the food tasted. For a chain restaurant like Dave and Busters I honestly wasn't expecting it to taste as great as it was. So in essence the food was well worth the wait. For appetizers we ordered Cheesy Spinach Dip, Mild Wings, and Pretzel Dogs. All appetizers came out hot, fresh, and tasty. For entrees we got the Ultimate Mac and Cheese and the Salmon with Loaded Mash and Green Beans. The Mac and cheese was so creamy and the bacon with chicken really stepped up the flavors. The salmon was some of the best salmon I've ever had, even better than actual seafood restaurants. The fish was tender and seasoned really well, even the green beans were fresh and crisp. To finish our meal we had a Strawberry Shortcake and it was a big piece of cake. It was a perfect ending to our meal. Overall everything was great except for the wait times. We came on the weekend for a last minute Birthday gathering for our nephew, and we had a blast. The service for food did take a while, BUT we did get there around 3:30pm and had our meals closer to 5pm. Maybe they were between the lunch and dinner rush. Either way, the food was delicious! We decided to come to Dave & Busters after driving to another arcade place nearby. The other place who has better Yelp ratings did not do it for us. That other place was dark and uninviting with old looking games. We had some time to kill before our flight so we decided to spend it at D&B. Our kids enjoyed playing the games, the place was clean and staff was friendly. Hubby and I wanted to relax while waiting and there was not a lounge area but the host said we could sit at the bar. The staff at the bar was friendly and he even offered us water which was very kind and thoughtful. We love that kind of service. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is bc it was warm inside. Though they had cool fans all over the place, it didn't quite feel cold enough especially bc there were so many people when we were there. Also, bc generally, Orlando is just hot! First, it was the virtual dart addition, then the bar area, the Arenas (still not sure exactly what happens in there), and then the human body claw machine! On our most recent visit, we had a small miscommunication with my son's wings -- he had asked for half sauce and half plain, but they came out differently. He was pretty upset about it, and as parents know, that can quickly change the mood. The manager personally brought the food out, and when I explained what happened, they immediately made it right. I totally forgot how upset I was last time and decided to go with my husband a few days ago... all the games that we used to get big tickets on are gone... and the ones that are still there, are rigged or broken(like the kungfu panda game). Another year, another tradition at D&B. I had promised the boys we'd return, even though we didn't have the best experience last year. It's still giving the same score though. Could've been better. We used to get the food cheaper with the power card fill up, but times have changed and well, this is the new normal. Our server was Peggy, who was very attentive to us on the food side of things. I think there was a bit of confusion on what I had wanted with the price we were paying for food/power card combo that they do. That was on me. I believe I ended up overpaying by about $10 per person based on my math. I also wish that there was a way to see the food prices vs the total combined price when it came to tipping - not that Peggy didn't do a great job, but I'd rather tip on the food and service vs tipping for the power card price too. I feel on the arcade side of things, they raised the prices for most of the "ticket" based games by 2-3 tokens per play. About a 20% increase across the board, and that definitely digs into your balance as you play. There were a lot of unsupervised late elementary/middle school aged kids there. Some were kicking the machines plastic (which I was surprised it didn't break). Others had figured out how to unlock one of the big spinning wheels to spin and then change where it landed to earn the 1,000 points per spin. We stuck to our games, and then saw that the prize area had also increased in cost. Things that had been 600-800 tickets last year were now 1200-1500 or more. We collected our chosen items and then washed our hands and left. As always, remember to keep your power cards to save on being charged $3 for a new one. In the mean time, we will look for a potential successor to D&B for next year. read more

A fun night was had for over 20 high school athletes at their track banquet ! Private room was booked to have a quiet area to eat and give out awards before the real fun began playing games and winning prizes! Staff were very attentive and food selection was good ( pizza, pretzel dogs, chicken tenders , fries , lemonade and sodas) There are tons of games to play for all ages and the cards to play are easily reloadable. Last night went to Dave and Busters for some games and drinks. The drinks all of them were half off for their happy hour until 10. I met up with friends to play games; we did the baseball game, monopoly, the basketball game and the axe throwing game. It was super fun. I already had a card with 200 chips on it and 500 tickets. We ended the night with 800 tickets and about 116 chips left. The service at the bar was ok. I was unaware they keep your card to open a tab; I was told that at the end, when I paid my bill. Our entire table received their food and a simple burger for my husband came when we were all finished eating our food and that was very inconvenient. My husband ate his dinner alone because we all had finished our meals by the time his meal came. So in a nutshell, if you speed up the service or make sure that the entire meal arrives to the table together and appetizers arrive before the meals as they should, maybe you would've had five stars. read more

Went on a Saturday night. There was a football game on and the place was very busy. There is a lot of TV's!!! We managed to find bar seating even though the place was packed. I got beer and it came in a very large cup, I needed two hands to drink it at first. They don't have a big selection of draft beer available. They have 2 non alcoholic beers to choose from. Theres plenty of mixed drinks available and lots of food options from salads, burgers, ribs, chicken wings, flatbreads, etc. I got the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls they were very greasy. Kevin got a chicken sandwich, the breading needed to be seasoned. The food took a long time to come out. They have an eat and play option that we took advantage of. We ate, drank a round and then ordered one last round to take with us while we played games. Lots of fun games to play but the amount of tickets needed to get a decent prize is so high. We got 500 tickets and could only get candy, plastic sunglasses, small Dave and busters bounce ball. The atmosphere here was fun. Made a reservation 2+ weeks out for a table of 10 at 7:30 for a Friday, to celebrate a birthday. We get here at 7:30 and they tell us they gave our table away to a corporate party, they'll have one cleaned up for us in half an hour. They seat us at 3 separate high top tables near the bar. 1 table fully serviced and was able to order food. The second table took 30mins to get a drink. 3rd table didn't receive anything, no one came by at all. I ended up going to the bar and ordering drinks and an appetizer. 1hr wait in, I go and ask for our table, still no table available. In comes Charlie, Charlie is the only reason this is a 4 star review. Charlie offers to discount part of our bill. No waitress ever came by and most of our party ended up ordering food at the bar and servicing our own table with plates and utensils pulled from the bar. No problem for Charlie, whatever else we ordered and game cards for our party on the house! 1 1/2 hour later from the original reservation, we still didn't get a table but we got some free food and gameplay time. Thank you Charlie for turning the night around! Food was pretty good for a large arcade/restaurant. Definitely on the saltier side. Crisps and guacamole, potstickers, mozzarella sticks, fries, and boneless wings were all really good. It is crowded in there, would recommend going in during the day or on a weekday. read more

I also ordered a Shirley temple, which was lacking flavor and didn't have any cherries in it. It was really busy and although the servers were super nice, it was hard to get service at the bar because of how crowded it was. The food was better than expected. We got the Fuego Chicken Sandwich and the Cajun Shrimp Pasta. We also had the S'mores Cheesecake. It was really good, but just tasted like chocolate cake and not cheesecake. We played a bunch of games and were pretty happy that almost everything worked really well (we have had issues in the past with broken games at arcades, which is so disappointing). The Human Crane game was cool. Standard arcade atmosphere, but we enjoyed the digital darts area because you can kind of have that space to yourself. I don't know about the food but here is what I can comment on. It feels a lot smaller than the one in Times Square. In any case there was parking and it's free. There is no entry fee. The one main reason I wanted to go was they let you be a human claw machine. The prizes are not worth the $25 experience and it's 20 for each extra round. The prizes are a giant five below floatie or alien or beach ball. But here is what they don't tell you the kid has to be 42inches and wearing closed toe shoes. It's Florida ppl wear flip flops all the time. So sadly we did not get to participate in this rip off and the kid was extremely disappointed. The games were fine and it wasn't too crowded. *** Happy Hour & Food *** I came here with coworkers and I believe we overwhelmed them with the amount of people. I ordered a drink and the Loaded Nachos. The little pamphlet was a little confusing, as I thought the loaded nachos were part of the happy hour, however on closer inspection (after receiving my check) it was only from 10 PM - 12 AM for that price of $5 for the nachos. Drinks here were pretty weak, even during happy hour. I believe there are better happy hours around the area. The loaded nachos were lackluster? Then again, what do you really look for in loaded nachos? For me, it needs to be smothered, especially if I pay $15 for the dish. It just didn't hit that spot. The chips were meh, I feel like it came out of a bag, but that's expected. It's Dave & Buster's so expectations should meet it. Overall though, after getting through paying our checks (which took a minute because the amount of people) it was alright. Would I come here? Probably not, if it's just me.
