Honestly this place is hit or miss most the time. I've been going here for years. The all you can eat wings on mondays makes it worth the possible poor service. If you like hot flavors their volcano is not only hot, but the flavor is just spectacular. I've tried getting the recipe but they don't share. We had the most disrespectful waitress, "Brianna or Bryanna" that rolled her eyes the entire time and clenched her fists at my 10 year old niece who asked for a Dr. Pepper. I confronted her when we got our check and she said she was going to grab her manager. We waited and the manager never came. We decided to leave at that point, as we walked out, we had a waitress ask if we needed a bag for our boxes. We said no, we had been waiting for the manager, she then laughed and said "I'm the manager" while our original waitress laughed in the background. We went to have dinner tonight, like we have many other times, but I will not be bringing my child back to eat here ever again.This was my child's first time eating actually food here and not a bottle of formula. We love supporting small businesses and have supported sidelines for years. But going forward our money will be going elsewhere. My almost 2 year old had their Kraft Mac & Cheese with oranges on the side. She has had Kraft Mac and cheese many times no issue at home. But having it once here gave her FOOD POISONING. Within 2 hours of getting home she started having diarrhea and throwing up. Since eating dinner there at 6pm, she has thrown up a total of 3 times and has had two diarrhea diapers. Thankfully she is taking fluids as of now and we're hoping we don't need to bring her to the emergency room to get fluids. I will be calling her pediatrician tomorrow to get her in to be checked out. Have had dine in and take out several times. Wings are always good. Unfortunately today when I arrived to pick up my order I stood at the bar area for a couple of minutes while 3 girls behind the bar chatted or complained about not being able to listen to two people at once. There was also a couple of girls at the end of the bar that actually had to be asked to move so a male server could get through after clearing tables. That same male server was the only one to acknowledge me and get my order. It's unfortunate that a business has to pay staff that have no interest in working or providing a good customer experience. I frequent Sidelines due to their chicken wings and their great drink specials. I can't write enough about how wonderful this place truly is. Fallon at the bar is wonderful and all the staff is amazing! Last time I went, I decided to try something new and I wasn't disappointed. I had the fried mushrooms and they were DELICIOUS; probably the best I've ever had . Make sure that you ask for your wings Fallon crispy when you go . Had a nice evening playing some pool with friends. The cheese curds were excellent and the chef salad was pretty good too. Service was a little slow, but that was not the fault of our server at all. Went last night for dinner - should have turned around and left upon seeing the "kitchen help wanted" sign on the door. We ordered bar drinks, 2 appetizers and 3 meals - the fried appetizers came right away and we're decent. And then we sat and waited, and waited, and waited - and our meals never came. About 40 minutes in, we asked the waitress if our meals were coming soon - she said she'd check with the kitchen. She came back and said they were running behind but it should be 20 more minutes worst case scenario. Another 40 minutes and still nothing. Our food finally reached us after an hour and 38 minutes and was hot at least but very bland. Definitely not worth the wait. Giving 2 stars because the beer was cold (though the bar drinks were terrible) and our waitress seemed to be the only one working and was doing the best she could. Don't really recommend going on a busier night. read more

We used to enjoy coming here for the food great food and normally the service on the food side is pretty decent if you come in the normal dinner or lunch hours. But when you come to the bar side where the pool tables are and expect to have a great night think again. We came two weeks in a row and we had not been served for a very long time. It takes them forever and there's one bartender who really doesn't care about their job that doesn't show any urgency when it comes to serving patrons their orders. But tonight out of all nights we got charged someone else's ticket after we saw our ticket was $30 less and the server didn't care. so this will probably be our last time coming here. They have really gone down hill. You should think twice before coming here FYI I hear the Canoe Creek Tavern is pretty cool we're going to start going there. read more

Went here yesterday, used to really enjoy sidelines but it seems to have gone downhill. Tried to order three different drinks and all they could make is your basic liquor and soda mixed drinks. Ordered there fish and chips and it tasted and looked like the planks you get out of the frozen food section of the grocery store. Man Man Oh Man Sidelines I am so disappointed in your staff and certain customers who act like staff. I came in last night after the Ronda Rousey vs Holly Holm fight to have a few drinks and play pool with my uncle and cousin before I leave town on Tuesday. We came at 1:25am but it took us 5mins to get 2 non working bartenders to grab us a pitcher and shots. Then they say "last call" so we ask for two pitchers since its 3 of us and say we can't get it. Talk about being lazy. As we wait for someone to get us the balls for the pool table, customers we're saying we couldn't get balls. We couldn't play because of the time. Now either they were the boyfriends of the bartenders, staff members off work, or just jack asses. Either way, don't talk to me if I'm not talking to you. We grab our pool table and it takes us less than ten minutes to finish our beer. We play at least 3 games & at 1:45 a staff member decides to mop the floor with bleach. SERIOUSLY, WTF does that?! You have to wait till all your customers leave the establishment. You can cause serious health risks and besides that what if I were allergic. I mean its just crazy how this establishment is run. The only pro I have about this place is the FOOD. Its amazing. Oh and my bill for a pitcher of shock top, 3 jagger bombs was $34.95. Definitely over priced. read more

It was raining the day were visited. We came with our grandkids, they were excited about the blue raspberry slushies. The kids order chicken nuggets and mini corn dogs. I ordered 2 grilled cheese and my hubby ordered a cod meal After a few minutes the deer came back and told me they couldn't clean the grill to make my grilled cheese. She said that they don't do that they cook their chicken burgerss and everything else without cleaning the grill. So, I had nothing. ! Kids got their meals in 26 mins and hubby to, but other people who came in after us got their meals first. Our server had nothing to do with this issue and she tried to help us with anything else but I was here in 2015 and waited 30 mins and no one came to our table for our food order. I promised never to return, but my grandkids insisted. Well, that will never happen again! You might have luck if you like other food like burger meat on your chicken, but not me! read more

I come here quite often. But today was unique as it was the day after Hurricane Irma came through the area. This was the only place open in town and they were completely overwhelmed with people. Some people were upset at the amount of time they had to food. But the staff set the correct expectation and handled issues like a champ. I can't imagine the amount if stress that these folks were under today. But they took time away from their families to serve their community as only they could. First and foremost, I am all about pro choice in every decision in life and can say for myself that I hold humility for every walk of life. I came in here feeling a little uneasy about a former situation that rubbed me the wrong way, but I came to enjoy my time with my family and give every person and place the benefit of the doubt. Once we got to this location, there was no music playing. We decided to pay to play some music to have a good time, and we inquired about what the staff would like to listen to... we received a response stating that the staff usually enjoys country music.. and of course we love that as well. We played that, along with other genres of music. When searching for music, we looked for Spanish artists and they were filtered out so we were unable to play any Spanish music. When adding other music, more music was played to protest the fact that certain genres were preferred. I personally find it unfortunate that this is happening in a city that I've resided in for years. Empathy and compassion goes a long way. Food was okay and we had to get up to pay for the food. It is soo large that it has a natural break in the place to have a section that is 18 and up after 9pm. So you can still have family time in the other half until your hearts content. This Sports bar has been in the area and operating for many years. I have always had the feeling that it was kinda sketchy. But my last two recent visits have really changed my mind. The BEST part is that we came out of there with bills that made us smile! This was my first time to this place and I can definitely say without a doubt this will be the only time that I will visit. I was looking forward to this as my family who are frequent flyers through there kept telling me about how awesome this place was. I can absolutely say this was a horrible experience. It took an hour to get our food and I have worked in the hospitality industry for years so some of the things can be forgive HOWEVER when the server disappears, doesn't give an explanation until prompted, and then when management was notified, we got a very unsimpathtic sorry. What you'll find here is friendly staff, good selection of beers, nothing fancy, and standard bar type menu. I'm usually interested in one thing when I frequent a sports bar, lots of TV's and wings. We have a larger family and often go here on our family dinner nights. Finding a seat, even on a Friday with a group of 8+, is usually pretty easy and the food is very good. The service is a bit slow, but otherwise no complaints. Besides, if you're going to a sit down restaurant I can't imagine you'd expect to be served food in less than 30 minutes. This a a great home town family owned business. Probably some on the best wings ever in this part of town. For sure the best onion rings in St. Cloud. Been coming here for years now, and if you don't live in the area, its worth the trip for the food. The place is very large. When you walk in there are tables on one side of the resturant with a bar area with video games and the other side has another bar area with dart boards and many pool tables. There are large screen T.V.'s all over the place. There also is corn hole in the back corner where the pool tables are located. There is a juke box for music with a good selection for all. The food as mentioned is the basic bar food you would find in most places but they kick it up a notch here. The blue cheese served with the wings is amazing. The cost is great and the variety of selection from food to craft beers are again top notch. If there was one negative comment I could make, it would be about the slow service. The service and employees are great I just think they many not have enough working on the busier nights. Bathrooms are always clean and maintained. Have hled several private events here and they are willing to work with all budgets to make sure all your wants and needs are taken care of. read more
