This place is fantastic! We sat outside as the weather was perfect. We were greeted pretty promptly by Kim. She was very prompt to get us something to drink. She was also patient with me as I took longer than the others to decide what to drink & eat. She nicely said she would return to give me time while I decided, which was perfect! She returned pretty quickly with my family's drinks. I ordered the espresso martini which was made very well. I ordered the Hazelnut Heist. Oh my goodness!!!! That was simply wonderful! The egg over the chicken that was tender and juicy. The chicken had the hazelnut crunchy texture on the outside of the chicken. PERFECT! Topped with a Frangelico, sundried cherry sauce and served over a buttermilk biscuit what a whole other level of perfection. The pairing of that sauce and the chicken encrust with hazelnut is an unexpected taste that simply must be experienced! Definitely would eat that any time! The menu looked wonderful with all the options and ways the dishes were made. The inside is beautiful and very spacious. Set in a beautiful quaint town in the middle of Florida, this place is definitely a gem and one to go to while in St. Cloud or if you are just passing through!

March 26/2025: Appetizers with Lisa & Ed. This is a small but very busy BBQ restaurant in St. Cloud. I just had the Phyre Bacon. 5 Strips of hung bacon that's maple glazed with a spicy bite. Very tasty & a novel way of getting the customer to pay $16.00 for 5 thick cut pieces of bacon. This my friends is NOT diet approved! It fatty, drippy & delicious! If I come back, I'd go here again for a full meal.

A little too sweet and not quite spicy, but amazing overall.

Love this restaurant. I have visited twice and have not been disappointed. Their ambiance offers a chic mixed with saloon sophistication. Wooden doors and cute wall paper their menu has an American fare with great surprises. I have visited while they featured live music. It's a nice little place. Their service is casual, friendly and welcoming.

    Ribeye

This place deserves a 10 star review! Hubby and I celebrated our anniversary and I got the ribeye....I'd say it's better than a Ruth's Chris steak! I'm a steak person and this was fire! Hubby got the short ribs and loved them as well! Our server, June was so kind and accommodating. She made the whole evening special for us! Will definitely be returning! Atmosphere was lovely as well

    Phyre Benedict w. brisket

We came here for brunch for the first time and had such a great experience. The food was incredible! my friend ordered the Phyre Benedict with brisket and I got the Phyre biscuits, and both were delicious. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helped us choose what to order. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

My husband and I decided to check this place out last night for a quick bite and a drink. We enjoyed the food and the drinks. The waitresses, the hostess and the bartender were all very friendly. I loved the saloon look of the restaurant, from the chandeliers to the wooden beams in the ceiling, the cute booths with velvet seating. We have decided that we will definitely be back! We had the fish and chips for dinner and for drinks we had the Phyrita and the bootlegger rum punch. All were amazing! So if you are in the Saint Cloud area, check them out! Good food and great people.

Food is fresh and flavorful. Portions are nice size. Burger was succulent and juicy. Fries cut with skin on cooked with a little crunch. Ahi nachos are one of my favorite. Little wasabi on the bottom topped with ahi, slaw, seaweed and drizzle of creamy sauce. Yummo! Battered fish tacos had slaw on the bottom and lightly battered mahi cooked perfect but would have preferred blackened if it was a choice and drizzled with a creamy dressing. Very juicy tacos. French onion soups had tons of onions in a sweet broth topped with a crusted baguette and topped provolone cheese and sprinkled with sliced scallions. delicious. Candied bacon wow! What a nice appetizers and presentation. Perfection. Service was excellent, attentive and Knowledgeable. Love the interior and attire of all the restaurant staff. 1930's speakeasy. Fun time!

Country style with a colonial goth like decor, very unique. Quick and friendly service. They have daily specials worth it. If you like the savory sweet salty taste, you must try the hangover burger. It's Cinnabon buns with a burger in the middle, finger licking good. They offer a full service bar. I had the phyrerita with the added floater let's just say 1 drink did the trick. Family friendly and they have house brewery beers if you like those. Plenty of parking places.

Service.... Great!!! Ambiance is a plus and very classy looking. Can make for a great date night as well. The food... well I mean it's not bad but not great!! We order the chicken and waffle sandwich with fresh cut French fries. The fries were amazing, the waffle pretty good, smoked candied bacon yummy, but the chicken... although cooked well and moist; it had absolutely no flavor not even a hint. I can only think they do that on purpose so it's not overly salty with the smoked -bacon and syrup combined, but that's only an assumption. I'm sure we will come again to try another dish in their menu.

    Sea Bass

This was our first time trying this place. Some good friends of ours recommend it. Brian our server was very amazing. All his recommendation were on point. We will be coming back. The sea bass was delicious, the bacon was to die for. The Whiskey burger had good layers of flavor. The fresh cut fries the perfect side for the burger. The ambiance of course was saloon style and it gave our experience a different touch.

    Pretzel Bites

Service amazing, atmosphere unique, pretzel bites and beer cheese superb; but the Tuna Nachos (which is what I came for) just got lost in the flavor over ride. Seaweed salad and Wasabi heavy drizzle let my taste buds down.

Burgers are over cooked and they are dry. I asked for medium rare and it came out really well. Guess I should have asked for another one.

Nestled in the basement below what looks like a vintage barbershop, this classy speakeasy transports you straight into an intimate live music lounge -- dim lighting, cozy seating, soulful music, and an atmosphere that feels like you've stepped back in time. What truly sets Zanzibar Blu apart is the personal touch from owner Kenneth Hunt who welcomes every guest as if you're stepping into his home. He's often there to help seat people, chat with patrons, and make you feel instantly comfortable. His vision for the space shines in every corner of the décor -- he handpicked authentic, fully functioning antiques and memorabilia (many of which he's said to have brought over from his childhood home in Philadelphia) that give the place a real story and personality. Live music is the heart of the experience here. There's always a mix of blues, talented local jazz musicians, and smooth sounds that keep the vibe lively yet relaxed. Whether you're celebrating a special night out or just craving something off the usual bar circuit of Daytona biker bars, Zanzibar Blu delivers. And if you're in town long enough, check out the Hunt House vacation rental upstairs -- Kenneth's other passion project that perfectly complements the speakeasy below. Highly recommend!!!

Every day of the week they have a different separate drink menu for the specialties of that day. I love the Wednesday bourbon. The vibe inside is so amazing and Homie and it is pretty intimate though. So keep in mind if you have large parties like I went once with around six people it is hard for everyone to sit together. So I would definitely recommend coming on more weekday evenings when it's not as busy otherwise you will be having to wait in a line outside unfortunately. The capacity seems to be roughly around 30 people after talking with the bartenders. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable. The off menu drinks that they could come up with ended up being some of my absolute favorites. I had the bartender at one point make me three surprise me drinks for whatever they felt like they could make. And every single one was so amazing I ended up passing it around to the rest of the group for everyone to try. Keep in mind, the drinks are probably a little bit more on the expensive side, but you are paying for more of the experience. It is also important to note that there is a five dollar cover fee that will last for a full week to enter the place, or you can buy an annual membership for $40. If you buy the annual membership, they do type out a membership library card for you and laminate so it feels very official and it's very cool to be able to have in your wallet. In the true vibe of speakeasy, this is a hidden gem.

Apparently, they decided to remove that concept and replace it with a more standard bar front -- which is kind of boring. I feel like they could have kept both for the full effect. We headed upstairs where the real bar is, and it was definitely busy. It's a tighter space, especially since the outdoor area is currently under construction. We waited about 15-20 minutes before being let in. Once inside, it's very close quarters. We managed to grab a two-top and ordered cocktails from the bartender. The drinks were pretty good. If you're unsure what to get or want something experimental, the bartender will ask plenty of questions to tailor a drink to your taste. If that's not your thing, there's a standard menu to choose from. Or, when in Rome -- let them surprise you with something unique. The drink prices definitely reflect the atmosphere. Overall, it was a fun stop -- but for us, it was a one-and-done before heading to the next bar.
