Pretty darn good place! Plenty of parking, bathrooms were decent. Tables were clean enough and menus were barely sticky. The food was ample portions and the waitress was a sweetheart. She made us feel very welcomed and kept coming around to check on us and our food. We had a cauliflower buffalo appetizer + a gyro with extra tzatziki sauce. It's a hit or miss honestly. I haven't figured out when is a good time to go to get the best of quality food, but I know for certain that a few hours or an hour before closing is definitely not a good time. We are consistently satisfied with Gator's Dockside. It's a favorite stop on our way home from Orlando. You'll find a variety of flavors for the chicken wings. We are hoping to try them all. Just to start the cycle again. I asked to order the next round right away and it still took a long time to come out. I wanted to order more but everyone else in my part was already done with their meals. Food wise the flavor for the Scooter Wings were the best. Chipotle were second and the hot teriyaki I wouldn't order again. I asked for some suicide sauce on the side it is only hot if you put a lot of sauce. But it's OK. The bar service was horrible. One bartender, who wasn't in the bar for the first 7-8 minutes when we arrived. Once she arrived she was too busy smooshing with the regulars to actually help us. Apparently, we stepped into a close nit group at the bar and on the patio. We had planned to have lunch, but after waiting so long to finally get two beers, we left. Inconsistency is what dropped my review from 5- stars to 4-stars. This particular Gators location suffers from consistently inconsistent food and service, just like the Hunter's Creek location. The service is usually good with friendly greeters and wait-staff. The food is like spinning the wheel. Sometimes the wings are perfect - sometimes they are overcooked. On my most recent visit the wings were slimey and undercooked. I ate 3 of my 8-piece order and tried to convince myself that I was just being picky. Then my stomach warned me that it was going to eject its contents. I made it to the men's room in time to not embarass myself, or ruin anyone else's meal experience. I am willing to go back, but if my food is, "not safe to consume", I will send it back and refuse to pay. Unless they make it right. I think that they would make it right; like I said, "the staff is friendly and very attentive". So I blame eating the bad wings on myself - BUT, they did serve it. It seems to me that if wings are the specialty that they should be perfect every time. I really like the fried mushrooms appetizer. However it is a lot for only 2 regular people. This is not a complaint, just advice. The mushrooms are a perfect portion for 4 regular people, or maybe a couple of "Big Old Boys". They are delicious, and have always been delivered to our table piping hot! I got hooked on the Shrimp Tacos. They really load a lot of shrimp. The order comes with 2 heavily packed tacos and a side of tortilla chips. I had this selection on 3 consecutive visits. The side salad is an ample serving of fresh lettuce with red onions, cherry tomato, croutons, and shredded cheese. My favorite is the honey-mustard dressing. The one thing that brings me back over and over is the Pina Colada. When they do it right it is the consistency on a really think smoothie. I like to have a double-shot of rum to make it really potent. If I get 2 of this cocktail spread out over my meal I get a nice, pleasant buzz. Don't worry, I never drink and drive. My wife is the designated driver. I always ask for a small bowl with extra maraschino and tge awesome staff always accommodates me. In this location they need to replace a lot of the televisions because the picture is bad. C'mon guys, this is a sports spot. Ya' gotta' have good TV pictures. Big screens are really inexpensive. Overall, the Gator's in St Cloud is a good place to keep in the casual eating out rotation. read more

Family and I tried the gator dockside in Saint Cloud Florida. A chain restaurant. I ordered the gator pieces and wife had fish taco. Dad had over breaded fish and chips that looked nothing like the picture. Mom had the steak quesadilla. Everything was ok. Nothing to great. Wife ordered a couple Cadillac margaritas and we were charged extra for the 1800 gold ? The Cadillacs are suppose to come with the best tequila ? The Service was very good. Never going back again. Ordered a wing platter that comes with 2 sides for $5.00. Selected fries as 1 side but asked about a salad for the other. The server said it would be an up charge, so ok, I agreed. Bill came out. I am charged the $5.00 plus $3.89 for premium side, so I paid $8.89 for sides with my platter. Spoke with the manager who said that is an upcharge. Told the manager that his staff needs to explain to his customers that an upcharge is a full price for the premium side. For the price I paid, I should have gotten 3 sides or 2 premium sides and saved $2.00. The manager told me that it is a standard charge that way for Gators and above his pay grade to change. So, I will not visit a place that again and their decepted pricing. read more

Came after lunch time and it was pretty dead. We were greeted and seated. The waitress was friendly and on top of everything. Got our drinks pretty quickly and took our food orders. The restaurant looks like it's taken care of and pretty clean. The prices are pretty reasonable. Our food came out pretty quickly too. I ordered zingers and fries. The zingers (just chicken strips basically) with their Yucatan sauce. They were delicious, hot, fresh, tender. My fries that I order though seemed like they were very old, refried, and still cold. They were pretty nasty. Overall it's a decent place to get lunch. Tonight, we got to wing night at about 7pm, a lot later than our usual time. When we arrived the main part of floor was full so we got the side booths. We were seated and then sat unattended to for about 15 minutes. The tables surrounding us had servers attending to them but not us. Now, we did get seated within a minute of another table in this section. We overheard the server say today was her first day by herself; so I was already preparing for that. But we literally sat. Nobody came and spoke to us. Finally we get our waitress, she takes our order of drinks and food.. we get our drinks in to go cups b/c they ran out of clean cups. Our server also brings us gator chips - we didn't order them. We asked for a side of barbecue sauce to go with these gator chips... we waited... and waited.. Surprisingly we got our first order of wings before we got the barbecue sauce; that's big for all you can eat wing night. BBQ sauce comes and of course we don't use it. We got our wings but they forgot the side of sauce, of course we have to wait for that and it came out when there was two wings left on the plate. The waitress never visited our table - so we had to flag someone down to reorder. I get it it's wing night but in this very small section... there's three servers. I am currently sitting outside in the patio of St. Clouds Gators Dockside. Starting the Fall for Florida in a beautiful patio with the view of the bar, can not complain. Never again. Ordered a Wing Platter, which means you get 2 sides for $5.00. One side was fries and asked for the other side to be house salad, server said that would an up charge. Well when the check arrived was charged the 5 dollars plus a premium side charge of 3.69. Attempted to explain to the manager why are you charging as if I got 3 sides. I told him I could have gotten to premium sides for less than 8.69 I paid for 2 sides. His reply was that is above head. I told him you to explain to customers we are going to charge for additiinal premium side not a upcharge. So as for my business you lost it, try to be honest and fair to your customers. After giving Gators another try I can say my server tonight, Suzanne definitely gave me a new outlook. She's balancing multiple tables and attending everybody as quickly as possible! My daughter also dropped her cookie on the floor and started having a huge tantrum so our server bought her a new one and some! We love Gators Dockside. Food is always great. Generally go to the Gators on John Young Pkwy where we always get great service and food is on point. Today we had to be in St Cloud so decided to get a quick lunch at the Gators there. BIG MISTAKE! Should have driven to our usual. Ate at the bar. Only thing the bartender did correctly was to greet us. Got our drinks and ordered wings. Told her we would order the rest when the wings came. Wings were great (as usual) & we ordered lunch. Thus ended the service portion of the day. Waited a good 20 minutes for lunch. My husbands came first (steak sandwich) but she sever it to me "here's your turkey burger!" Only it wasn't. It was the steak sandwich. She sent the runner to check on my order. He came back ten minutes later with the order. NEVER SAW THE BARTENDER AGAIN. She was busy making plans with the other servers at the end of the bar. No condiments. Had to ask a passing waitress for utensils. What a great experience. We ordered 30 wings and different varieties (every 5 can be changed). They asked us what our seating preference was and we chose a high table and were quickly taken care of. Service by Jessie was great. We were well cared for and the wings came out quickly. All the varieties we chose were great. I attached their daily specials which are great and they offer a good gluten free menu as well and a daily lunch special. So, this is an awesome place to come and eat. Wife and I decided to be lazy and not cook. So we remembered Gators has all you can eat Wings every Monday nights. So we decided to head over. We arrived and the place fairly empty, so we were seated quickly. We got some Onion pedals, Wife got the Winger Dinner and I got the All you can eat Wings. You get 10-12 on the first plate and then 6 on every order after. My wife loves the Winger dinner here because they are Chicken Tenders. Head breaded and actual chicken. My wings, I always start with the Yucatan sauce with GRILLED wings. The grilled Wings are the best here and tonight they were well done. I love them well done, but as it got busy they started to serve them just done. I went to order the second order of wings and noticed a new Spicy Mustard BBQ sauce and had to try it. I am on a Mustard kick for some reason and glad I tried this new sauce. IT IS NOW MY NEW FAVORITE SAUCE . PBJ SAUCE- It is actually great but you have to order the Wings fried. Placed an order for pick up very friendly over the phone placing my order, went to pick it up and staff was very friendly and a very short wait to get my order. Went back to work and of course the sauces that I had requested on the side were not with the order. The food was really good but the burger and fries probably would have been a little better with the condiments I asked for rather then just plain.
