First time visiting this place was on a Sunday a few ago. We didn't really know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised and had a great time. There were 6 of us and we got a pod ( I think that's the name) on the second level. We were there to celebrate a bday. They even allow outside cake. Although I wasn't sure WHAT I was doing because I wasn't hitting the golf balls as much as I thought or intended to LOL; it was a lot of fun and I'm sure my fiancé and I will make our way back out to Top golf in the near future. The food was pretty decent, I had a sangria which was just ok. Next time I'll try a better drink. read more

First time going the other weekend. We didn't know what to expect. At first when we walked in, we stood there looking around. At that time a young guy from behind the counter asked if we were part of a party and we expressed it was our first time there. All he said was you needed to register over there, no direction. Then this lovely lady came up and asked if we needed help. We expressed it was our first time there and we were not sure how it worked. She went through EVERYTHING! Very thorough with her explanation. Showed us where to register, expressed we could eat first and look around, etc. I wish I would have paid more attention to her name because I would give her five stars! After we sat down and ate, we were able to hit some golf balls. It was very pleasant. Only wished the waiter would have checked on a few more times than he did. read more

The servers were all wonderful, the food very good but a bit overpriced. Range time was $42 an hour for a golf range with worn out; mats, balls, and clubs...NBD still a pretty good experience. Yet, if you are in your bay for literally two minutes after your play time is up, get ready for a super passive aggressive "manager" to confront you and make you feel like they are doing you a favor by allowing you to spend money there...by the way our bill was close to $300 for two hours. Not to mention that she made the kids in our group super uncomfortable by hovering over us and getting way too close for comfort, without a mask, during a pandemic! I won't be back, I hope this review helps people to spend money at some of the smaller, family owned, friendly, golf ranges that are out there. Oh, by the way, I'll host my company events somewhere where I don't feel like they are doing me a favor by allowing me to spend money with them. Bottom line, they should train management to make people feel welcome instead of feeling like you're in line at a soup kitchen and being told to move it along. read more

My husband and I moved out of the area almost a year ago. We went back to Topgolf this weekend when we were in Naperville visiting friends. We've always had such a good time at Topgolf, except for this past weekend. We bought two hours of golf and started playing. Ordered some apps and drinks. We played and had a lot of fun. When we decided to get going we paid and settled our check. One member of our party left to use the restroom. We waited at the table for him. The rest of us were standing at the table, purses on. We looked like we were leaving when a person came up and told us that this bay had be re rented already and we needed to leave. We were so confused. We just spent over $200 here and we were clearly leaving, just waiting for someone. We walked away from our table so quickly and confused that we almost forgot someone's golf clubs. All the other times we have been here it was pleasant but not this time. When we were in the lobby it wasn't even busy. Even though we have fun every time we come we won't be coming back to this location any longer. read more

I hosted a golf outing at topgolf and I cannot say enough about how wonderful they are to work with. I worked with Kari on the planning. She makes it so easy and is so accommodating. On the day if the event I was met by staff members to unload my car and take all my supplies (including 22 raffle baskets) up to the room. All evening the ambassadors (Justin, Kat and Kevin) were so efficient I didn't even need to ask for anything. Donnie took care of the IT and sound system needs. If I asked to have the volume adjusted he had it done immediately. They were all so attentive to our needs and those of our guests. It makes hosting at topgolf effortless. Every staff member I came in contact with was pleasant and respectful. I highly recommend you host an event or just have a family outing at Topgolf!!! read more

We went here for my son's 5th birthday and we all had a BLAST!!!! My son who has never golfed before had so much fun and did not want to put the golf club down. The drinks were delicious and the food is descent. 5 adults and 3 kiddos...and everyone had a wonderful time. Our waiter was super friendly and gave us superb service. Definitely recommend and will definitely go back again. read more

Had an awesome time last night! Good food & drinks, highly recommend the chicken nachos and moscow mule. It was chilly but the overhead heaters make it more comfortable. Service was quick and attentive! read more

Little late but last week my boyfriend came into top golf Naperville for date night/industry night. There was a little miscommunication at first but quickly resolved. We put our name on a waiting list and went to the bar. Our bartender was super sweet and attentive. Kim was the lovely lady that helped us out. I work in the food service industry and I've never had such a sweet and attentive person take care of us and make sure everything is perfect. Most times they take you to you bay and leave you. Kim came back a couple times to talk to us. Hopefully industry night continues! By far the best date nights. 100% will be coming back for date night and to see Kim! read more

This place is really fun and the food is great. It's a great choice if you want a nice meal out, but also want something fun to do! You definitely don't have to be good at golf to enjoy this place. The different game options they have make it fun for everyone. They have a great drink selection and a very large menu. There really is something for everyone here. It's a bit on the pricey side, but if you are looking for something different it's worth it! read more

Fun and enjoyable experience wethere with friends or with family. I'll be back to beat my highschore with some friends aome time soon

Our family had been looking forward to celebrating my son's 15th birthday at Top Golf for several weeks. I booked a bay ahead of time and was accidentally charged twice (no big deal, mistakes happen). However, when we arrived Top Golf informed us they are not responsible for the reservation fee because they utilize a third party. When I asked how to contact the third party so I could resolve the issue, I was told by the Top Golf employee, "I don't know. Maybe you could Google it??". It was just an all-around disappointing evening. I had such high hopes, too! Pros: My kids had a blast! Food was okay Very clean Cons: Charged twice with no offer of resolution (or guidance of how to resolve) Golf time BEGINS at your reservation time (it took approximately 20 minutes to register and have the conversation about the double billing) Service was VERY slow, although there was plenty of staff read more

I had the worse experience at Top Golf in Naperville, IL on 10/10/20. I wish I could give no stars. Let's start off with I made 2 9:30 PM CST reservation last Sunday because we came last Saturday on 10/3/20 and it was a 4 hour wait. I called on Wednesday 10/7/20, and spoke to a nice representative and I explained that I made 2 separate reservations and I wanted them by each other and I stated that I want the top floor. The rep did say she can't guarantee the top floor but she'll notate both reservations and also informed me to let the rep know when I check in about the top floor and the 2 bays being next to each other. The fact that you pay for a bay in advance and can't select the floor is very unfair. I arrived right at 9:30 PM CST, my husband and I. We was told the bays were 106 and 107, I stated that I didn't want to be in the lower level and told her that our party was running a little late to give someone that was waiting our bays and I'll wait for a upper level. Again was told can't promise that. My husband and I ate in the restaurant and our waitress was Kaitlyn P. she wasn't good. I got my food with no napkins or utensils. When she came to check on us I stated I need napkins, she stated okay and left and never came back. My husband then ordered and when his food came by another server I asked for napkins and she immediately bought it back. Kaitlyn P. comes back 5 minutes later still no napkin and asked how was everything and I stated okay except the napkins and I told her someone else bought it and she was like okay and walked away. Finally our bays was ready 218 and 219, so again not the top floor but the main floor. Our server was Maygan M. first she was very slow we got to our bays at 10:40 PM CST, she wasn't able to get all the players in the system until 10:55 PM CST. My other party got there at 11:00 PM CST. Mind you I had bays 218 and 219 so the party left that was at 217 so since 217 and 218 are side by side and 219 is on the other side. I asked her could my party be at 217 instead, especially since it's a hour before closing. She said "no" because that's another server table and get this she stated that bay 219 was given away because no one was registered there, I'm like you were working to get everybody that was here on bay 218, so she said okay let me put your name on it again. Mind you the people she sat at 217 kept turning the heat off and it was for our table and we had a 1 year old with us. Lastly, we get the bill and we noticed that we'll charged 3 different amounts for the games like $54.00, $27.00, and $19.00 and my sister in law got tater tots and order a sauce that was $4.00 that she didn't like so she stated to Maygan I didn't know that this sauce was $4.00 and I didn't touch it because it was nasty. This was after she signed the payment receipt. Maygan called her a girl, mind you my sister in law is 30. Then she said rudely give me the receipt and my sister in law was reluctant to give her the signed receipt and she was like I need it to void everything out. She came back with the nastiest attitude we then start asking her about the price for the games and that seem to aggravate her even more. I came out to celebrate because I graduated from college. The service was so bad we didn't leave her a tip because of the horrible customer service. My family traveled all the way from Chicago to get treated that way. My mother-in-law stated that she didn't want to go back here as she felt that we were racially discriminated against. It was not the warm atmosphere that I'm use to. I stay in Naperville and I frequently visit this location since it's close to me. This my 3rd visit since the pandemic. I won't stop going to Top Golf just might not go back to Naperville. I'll go to Schaumburg instead. read more

Overall staff was nice but at 2017 i still was profiled upon entrance as a riff raff black guy. I waited in line for 25 mins until some rude staff guy named jose stated i was n the wrong line without and suggestions or asking any questions. Then i went to the other line he suggested n they manager sent me back to first line n was extremely apologetic. Then i noticed everyone was treating way nicer. I guess he didnt think we could afford or stand the wait till i pulled out my american express. But not too bad i felt the customer service could have been better read more

Every time I've been here is super fun. I'm not much of a golfer, but I've been here for work and casual dates and had a blast. I usually eat somewhere else unless work is paying, since food is pretty pricey for what it is. At night is really fun since the holes light up. We split it between 6 people and it was a pretty affordable 2-hour session. read more

Amazing place for a Friday night date! Right when we walked into the impressive building we were greeted by smiling helpful faces. This is the perfect place for both the golf enthused and early learner (like me). Beautiful night putting and delicious food! The TopGolf signature spicy skinny margarita was my drink of choice and it did not disappoint! And of course my favorite part of the night, a foosball table! Because who doesn't love foosball :) Will definitely return very soon! read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They were awful and rude to us and numerous customers told us they were treated rudely by staff. I would highly recommend you go elsewhere for your entertainment on the weekends. The food sucks, the customer service is subpar, and this place is just plain awful. read more

The perfect place for friends and family. I have visited this location many times with my family and friends. The entertainment is for all ages and the atmosphere is very laid back. A birthday party or celebration is easily accommodated here. The food is pricy and not very good. But it is bar food so don't expect a nice meal. Finger food and drinks is truly their success. The servers are tentative and around as needed. I have never felt o couldn't find anyone when we needed refills. The digital aspects of the games have always worked well for us as well. It is easy to split the bill and separately pay as well. This location supports large parties well. read more

My Fiancé and I had a family outing at Topgolf. We walked in and clearly ask to be placed on the second or third floor. Megan at the front desk stated that she couldn't guarantee where we would be placed. We asked if a first floor became available could we wait for the second or third floor as we did not want to be on the first floor. We waited about 45 mins and was then told we were placed on the first floor and in order to get on the second or third floor we would have to go to the bottom of the list and wait another 45mins to an hour. Megan was very rude and should have better customer service training if they have her greeting and interacting with guest. We asked for a manager, Garret came to speak to us. He told us we should have asked to be placed on a higher level in the beginning which we did!!! After waiting about another 10 mins we were placed on the third floor. Seems like it is all teenagers working there with bad attitudes and no training. read more

Charged per hour and not per game. Makes you feel hurried vs taking your time and enjoying the game. Typically at Wooddale I will play three complete games and take my time with food and drinks. Here we spent more time trying to hurry thru games for what we paid instead of "wasting time" on eating and drinking. read more

I love this place! My bf and I always have a great time whenever we go. The service, food, fun, prices, etc. are excellent. I have golfed before but I really need to brush up, so it is very helpful to not only be provided with clubs, but with the technology to tell you everything about your swing. Great addition to Naperville! read more

I was really excited to see what it was like here. We come in and pay 45 to golf for an hour which is 22.50 each for 2 people. After an hour wait (which isn't too bad for how busy it was)we find out that we "only paid for a half hour" which I know is wrong because I was standing right there when we both paid. If you come here make sure you get your receipt if the person asks if you want it. Also the game is really stupid because even though I had great shots none of them matter because I didn't hit the targets which were impossible to swing at if you aren't in a bay in the middle. If you're at an end bay you pretty much wasted your money. read more

This is a must during the holidays with friends and family. Always remember that golf is first then drinking, eating and golf. Joel provided great service as our server. Get the 1.5 hour time before 0500pm it will save you dollars in the long run. read more

Lots of early 20 somethings. Loud loud music. Your throat will hurt from trying to talk. The heaters they used were so hot that we couldn't stand under them and they made the tables so hot that you couldn't touch them. Blatant pot smoking. Bartenders will only serve you one drink at a time so if your wife or husband needs one, they have to get their own. And the service was hands down the absolute worst I've ever experienced. They literally spilled three Cokes on me and comped nothing. (Not that I asked them to but it would have been right not to charge me for a replacement) read more

My cousins and I had our semi-annual cousin's night at Topgolf this past Saturday and will definitely return. My cousin was the one who made the arrangements with the event planner so all the rest of us had to do was show up. We had 4 bays reserved for our group and a buffet style dinner set-up. We had the bbq pork sliders, chicken tenders, chips, fruit and cookies, all which were excellent! Even if you aren't an avid golfer, which most us weren't, it's still fun to tee off some balls. Definitely will be back soon! read more

First time at Topgolf for my boyfriend birthday. Had a great time with him and friends. I made reservations online a week ahead for 9:30, but we were running late so they easily changed it to 10 with no problems. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. I give it 4 stars only because the drinks were horrible with a splash of alcohol. I didn't like paying $10 for a drink that tasted like fruit juice. Other than that everything else was great and I will definitely be back. read more

Started my night out with my wife and friends with a bad attitude valet. Then finally got to play and ordered drinks. The drinks were super slow, wrong and poured super light. The facility is amazing but over half the time tonight their scoring system didnt work. Managers dont seem to care. Second time ive been here and was hoping to make this a new regular spot for us. I wont be back. read more

The food was excellent. The drinks were the bomb. The game was a blast. The prices were a bit over the top.

Customer service is severely lacking. I get that Sunday afternoons are busy but when checking in, I was told that the wait was 45 minutes. After an hour I inquired and was told 15 more minutes. At an hour and 15 I was told we were first on the list. At 1hr 30 we left. I was finally called after 2 hours. I know it's difficult to predict the wait exactly but that was ridiculous. read more

Friendly environment and all staff was very helpful. There wasn't any wait, but was told during holidays that there is longer wait time. Had a great time. This is definitely an adult friendly environment and nice for family/friends group outing or fun place to go for a date. You'll see beginner golfers and advance players, but it's really about having a good time. read more

We had a great time golfing and drinking! But it was very busy and they didn't seem to have enough people on staff. The bar was very timely but when we got to the bay the food and drinks took foreverrrr. Our burgers came out pink when we asked for medium well and when we sent them back it took even longer to get the food. We finished our game, our friends left, and my boyfriend and I stayed to finish our food that JUST came out. The experience and concept is so fun, but the food I would give a 1/5. read more

Fun time! Came on a Friday at 3:00 and were told the wait was 15-20 mins. They were between staff shift change. It ended up being 45 minutes before we were assigned a spot. We originally paid 70$ for a 2 hour block. 35$/hr before 5. Well since our wait time was longer the price goes up to $45/hr at 5. This was not ok so a manager came over and we ended up paying only 55$ and he added a extra half hour to our playing time. Great drinks and food. Fun time for all even me the not so experienced golfer. Will be back! read more

Whoever thought of this was brilliant. The games are so fun and you don't have to worry about being bad at golf. It is a little pricey depending on when you go, but you pay per time not per person so the bigger group you have, the better the price. Also if you go during the day it's cheaper then at night. Fun to be able to get beverages while your playing as well although service can be a little slow. There's a good selection of food as well. Had the cheesy fries and buffalo chicken flat bread. Everything was good but the flat bread made us not feel very well after the fact. read more

Probably one of the coolest places I have ever been! Had so much fun. So to break it down. On your first trip you will be required to purchase a member card which if I recall costs $5-$10 which is kind of annoying but at least it's only once and if you lose it, it only costs $1 to replace it. Depending on the time of day the price per hour varies and you can have up to 6 people per bay (area in which you golf) so in my opinion go with as many people so you can split the hourly cost and golf for longer. I didn't have any food but the waiter was nice enough to bring us water and check on us during our visit. Even though it's outdoors the heat lamps are more than enough to keep you warm so you can go any time of the year. There is an awesome bar, the place is modern and lively and the staff are wonderful! The bays are easy to use and you have so many options when it comes to clubs which are all located at your bay so you don't have to go anywhere to pick them out. The fun part is the challenges you can play like getting point for hitting the ball into certain holes or getting the most points for shooting it the farthest distance. Overall an amazing time and will definitely be back! read more

Overpriced....$45 an hour plus $15 "membership fee" then throw in food and drink and in one hour you're over $100 for just three people. Wasn't entertaining enough for us to justify that kind of expense. We'll stick with the driving range and make up our own games if we get close to the flag. read more

Perfect place for golfers, food was amazing and ambience is excellent with a nice bar !

Came on a family outing around 10 people and had two bays. Since one of the bays malfunctioned as we were starting to play, they gave extra time to one bay only, leaving half the group to stand around while (I assume) management hovered over the group in the bay that had finished earlier than the other. The person that came was definitely rude and made us feel very unwelcome while we waited for our delayed group to finish. Not sure I can come back after this experience. My experiences at other top golf locations have been pleasant, but this was not... read more

This is the 3rd time I've gone to Top golf but it was my first time at this location. It was nice that my boyfriend and I could get in at the last min. on a Friday night without much wait, as most locations have a 2 hour wait minimum on Friday nights. That was about the only thing that was good about the entire scenario, that and our very friendly waitress. The kitchen really kept messing up our orders and our food took over an hour to come out and then of course when it did it was wrong. And just when you think it can't get any worse the bar ran out of cranberry juice so I couldn't even enjoy my drinks for the remainder of the night. Needless to say the manager did come and take care of our bill (which was expected), but it just wasn't a great first impression. read more

This is a great looking place, been here a couple of times to hit balls. Restaurant looks good and the 3rd floor outdoor bar is really nice. It's a little pricey but a fun time. All employees there need a little more training. From check in, to getting a bay, to getting a drink all need to be improved. For the amount of staff they have on hand and the price paid the service should be top notch, which it was far from. Hopefully they get people trained up and there is an improvement. read more

Been here to eat a few times and had fun experiences, but the last time I came, our group got a bay to golf at. I ended up ordering food that my waitress forgot about. 30 minutes into waiting, I had asked her if it was coming. Her response was that the tablet must have 'malfunctioned' and took my order again. I got my food 10 minutes before our play time was about to expire. After having the food in front of me for 5 minutes, our waitress came again and said we had to leave, as someone had reserved the bay after us. I did not think it was acceptable to kick us out after forgetting about my order and giving it to me last minute, and then, leaving me with no time to eat. I received an email to review my experience the following day, so I did. The manager kindly reached out, apologized, and said he would be mail me a certificate to redeem themselves. It has been a MONTH and I have not received anything...so much for great service. Honestly, I am so disappointed. read more

What an awesome concept! This place is obviously sweeping the nation in their marketplace, and I can see why. They have all of the qualities you would look for in a sports/activity attraction. Lots of TV's, big bar, lots of drinks, and of course golf! The prices seem a little ridiculous, but people are obviously willing to play. This location is great, and we played outside at the end of November when it was bitter cold out, all for my die-hard golf loving husband. The heat lamps helped a lot, but we were all bundled and brought in a blanket from the car. Also this was fun for non-golfers, but only for an hour. read more
