This is a great Top Golf location, it's reminiscent of the Austin location. There are multiple levels and we were able to make a visit midweek without issue. The workers were all friendly and I observed them cleaning everything between customers including golf clubs. Me only issue is that so many of their foods are finger foods. It would be nice if they offered more appetizers that were easily eaten with silverware considering Covid. It was my first time in about 8 years driving a golf club. My miniature golf skills did not come to play today. Overall, the experience is super fun and great for any occasion, whether it's for a first date, a weekend activity for the family, or a chill Friday night shenanigan with friends. There are over 300 bays for golfers, but they fill up really fast! Unfortunately, reservations are not allowed. The earlier you come, the cheaper the rates. The bays are also charged per hour depending on the time you come. There are little sensors in each ball that helps keep score for convenience. The golf balls are a little lighter than the normal ones you golfers may be used to. The view is great! While you're waiting for your turn, or even waiting for a bay to open, there's a nice little outdoor seating. On Friday nights, a DJ is present and people dance on the mini dance floor they have. Food. I think food and alcohol prices are decent. I ordered the medium classic burger with a fried egg. My medium burger was a little overcooked to well done, but I still smashed the darn thing. My Fried egg was also overcooked and the yolk didn't spill as much as I wanted. Boo. Fries weren't my favorite and could've been a little crispier. The Bloody Mary was pretty good, but they lacked the dressing that normally comes with it: bacon, onion, pickled asparagus, pickled green bean. Boo. Lastly, I ended with an Irish coffee and it was pretty darn good! The warm taste of Jameson blew my mind lol. I'd come back here and check out their brunch menu. read more

Experience was fun - as it always is! Fortunately, there was a cancellation so we only had to wait 10 minutes for a double bay. Wings were overcooked. Grilled chicken burger was boring but edible. The Tres Tacos with chicken were quite delicious! Kids chicken tenders were ok. Tater tots were phenomenal and perfectly crispy. Nachos were very tasty, but they definitely don't give you much. Wish they would give you a giant pile of chips instead of 6. My husband ordered a couple beers before we closed out our bill, but we never got them. I set up a surprise event for my sister's birthday here at the Topgolf in Utah. We had 13 people attending and so I worked with one of their event associates (Braeden) to workout all the logistics and contract. It really could not have been easier to do. Braeden was extremely communicative, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions that I had with regards to pricing, minimums, and logistics. All in all, I would say that the work leading up to the event was seamless. The day of the event was also great. My sister had a great time. The only hard part was that it was extremely hot up in the bays. Since this is an outdoor-ish venue, the fan between the bays didn't really help with cooling down the area. Our event was in the evening...but it was still really hot. Other than the heat...the food, the service and the experience were all great. It definitely was a good time! read more

We went with a group of five and it was so much fun. You're allowed six people at each bay (spot), but five was perfect because there was only five chairs at a table so one person would not have had a spot. This was my first time ever golfing, aside from mini golf. We paid for a two hour timeslot so the first game I did poorly and lost but by the second game I kind of got the hang of it. I started to realize that the bigger the golf club the further you can hit the ball. There are micro chips in each golf ball and your score is recorded right after your turn. For food there is not much vegan options, in fact the website says there are no vegan options, but I ordered the carrot hummus appetizer. I'm guessing that the pita bread is probably not vegan. But the hummus is delicious. For a drink I got the spiked strawberry lemonade and that was also delicious. Also Tuesdays are 1/2 price so one hour is about 25 bucks and you can split that between however many people are in your bay. And you do need to buy a one time five dollar membership to golf. But you don't have to purchase any special shoes like you do at Bowling alleys. read more

I was there this past Tuesday with my son and 5 of his friends for his 11th birthday. Our waitress and the floor manager, found out that it was birthday and made such a big deal about it for him. they brought him a sign and an ice cream sunday. It helped make the day even better! Topgolf is a thriving bar/entertainment business. It's perfect for a fun date night, friends date or an overall fun hangout spot. It is extremely busy on the weekends so be ready for at least an hour wait on a weekend night. I've tried some of their drinks and food but I'm not impressed. Most of the food I've tried is overpriced and not seasoned well. The sunset burger was the biggest disappointment for me. It lacked seasoning and the bacon was badly burned on some ends. We used the one-time 30 min delay option but that only gave us 20 minutes before they texted again saying our bay was ready and would only be held for FIVE minutes. We scrambled to park and make it inside to our booth in time. We felt very rushed with our young kids, plus the check in person made me drink all the water in my water bottle before going inside. Felt like TSA. Ha. Fun time with the family and helpful staff once we finally got going, but I'm not a fan of their waitlist process. I always look forward to coming to this TopGolf every time i'm in town visiting family but had a really awful experience today due to our extremely rude and passive aggressive waitress. we are 3 adults and a small child and the moment we got to the bay and were setting ourselves up to play, the waitress rushed us to place our food and drink order even though we were just getting settled. we wanted to order a alcohol drink, a pitcher of beer and a kids meal but she basically forced us to order more food saying that more than 1 drink per person u have to order food so we're like ok.... never had this issue before tho. but whatever no big deal. she also never bought us water.... okay. but the worst part is she kept rushing us the entire time. we chose the 1 hour golf play option so after the play time was up, she hand us the check and kept trying to get us to hurry and leave even though we didn't finish our pitcher yet... mind you, it's a week day afternoon so it's not like it was that busy. she even took our food away without us finishing it. it's annoying for us to go out for a nice family outing and the waitress making us finish our food and drink in only an hour. paid $80 but had to basically scarf down our food and drinks and leave after our play time of 1 hour was up....so rude and unprofessional! ruined our topgolf experience. read more

Came in with a group and there is plenty of parking. I was warned about the $5 membership requirement in advance so things went fairly smoothly. There is an obvious catering and emphasis on service, as we entered there were plenty of staff to help at all times. They have a grill and gift shop and bar and then the range on two floors behind all that. We went upstairs and were walked through the system- it was honestly very much like bowling. They have tall and short clubs available at each cage and there are five or so chairs in a booth. The injectable donut holes are a neat gimmick and the food is not that bad, tasty enough, but the only part not overpriced in my opinion were the fries/tater tots. We had to wait 1 hour after our bay was ready and we watched people who came after walk in before us. We also talked to multiple people who kept saying it would take 10 minutes for us to be seated but that had to happen multiple times and they were all sitting in the back room talking not doing anything. I had never heard of Topgolf before visiting Salt Lake but my grandpa and cousins were super excited to take our big group here and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. I am not a golfer. Been to a driving range one other time in my life and was miserable because I was never taught how to swing a club and hit a ball so you can imagine I was preparing for a frustrating experience at Topgolf. Instead I found a fun/hip driving range with computer screens to track your players' hits - much like modern bowling alleys. For the first round my group played just trying to hit the ball as far we could - I sucked - but it was fun. What I liked better was for the rest of the day, we played one of the computer-programmed games that directs you to aim for specific holes on the range and you get awarded points for how close your ball lands to the target. What's really cool is their technology. They have some kind of sensor in the ball so they know which player hits which balls and *exactly* where the ball lands so they can assign points accordingly. Incredibly cool program! The food & drink program was a little lackluster for me - hence the 4-star instead of 5-star review. The menu has a wide variety which is great for groups, but not one of our items tasted amazing. They were fine - nothing was bad - but the dishes were nothing more than just fine. The injection doughnut bites are fun, but they really didn't taste great. The pretzel bites should have been great but there just wasn't much flavor with them or their dips. The flatbread pizza was the best thing I ate but it was slightly undercooked for my tastes. And it's Utah so the archaic liquor laws prevent them from serving anything good (or in normal portions) drink-wise. Not Topgolf's fault but that was the tiniest mai tai and largest selection of 4% beers I've ever seen haha. read more

I went to Top Golf to show my dad and his wife a good time here in Utah. Boy, was I wrong! This is a "restaurant, not a bar"... I knew that going in so I ordered chips and salsa after our first drink. We were told three different "intent to dine" rules by three different people. I am very much a rule follower, but when there is a moving target it is difficult to abide by the rules. I didn't want to order an actual meal there because the food here is absolutely awful and we had made dinner plans else where because of that. The chips tasted like they were bought three or four years ago from a gas station. Also ordered some cheesy macaroni bites, the "creamy" marinara had an odd flavor. If there was supposed to be macaroni in those I didn't taste or see any. I really wanted to hit some golf balls, have a few drinks and have some fun with my guests, unfortunately that didn't happen. Also, our screen wasn't accurately keeping score, so we spent at least 10 minutes of our time at our bay messing with the score board. A guy came over to reset it and didn't bother to add any time to our bay. Top Golf has the potential of being a really fun place, but I would avoid this joint here in Utah at all costs. Just go to the driving range at Fore Lakes and call it a day! Edited to add: after reading another person's 1-star review about only being able to have 8 at a booth-- the booth next to us had about 18-20 people and 8 of them being young children running wild. There's no more accessible way to try golf than playing Topgolf. Think driving range, mixed with the party atmosphere of a bowling alley. They do everything they can to make it a more high-end experience. I've never golfed before, and I had a great time, meanwhile next to me was a bay full of serious golfers honing their game. It really is for everyone, there was even a 5 year old out there hitting balls. The food is pretty good, it's definitely unique. The injectable donuts are always fun, and the nachos are really tasty and easy to share. I really had no complaints. People complain about the price, but you can easily fit six people in the bay, and you pay per bay, not per person. We paid 70 bucks for two hours, I think you can do the math. 12 bucks a person is a pretty good bargain for golf. read more

But I had this chick as a server named Moira (insert Schitt's Creek Joke now) and she never screamed Daayvuud uugh to me once!! We like the text us feature when our bay is available but we sat in the restaurant hoping to get a appetizer since we were starving but service there was no where to be found.
