Topgolf is a great entertainment option for families, couples or friends of all ages. This location is always busy so I recommend making a reservation if you're on a time crunch. Food is decent but not awesome. Drink wise it's not expensive but above normal bar pricing. The pricing for golf goes up by hour increments so the earlier your arrive, the better. read more

To preface this review 1) I am an avid golfer 2) I've been to 4 other Top Golf locations 3) I will continue coming to Top Golf even after this poor review. I was traveling for work to Columbus, OH and I knew they recently opened a Top Golf location just outside the city center. My colleagues had never been so I took this as a perfect opportunity for a team outing after the work day. We came on a Thursday evening and the wait time was surprisingly short (only 15 minutes after showing up at 8pm). We got in right away for a bay on the 2nd floor. The waiter was super attentive the moment we got there but once nobody ordered an alcoholic drink, we didn't see him for 45 minutes. We had to ask 3 different servers to order food. Once the food did come, they didn't bring any plates, silverware, or napkins - by the time we got them the food was entirely eaten. I had never experienced such poor service. The waiter showed up again when it was time for the bill to be paid (funny) but we didn't appreciate his quirkiness about us having a fun night when he wasn't there for anything we needed. To add onto the poor service, our TV didn't work at our bay so we couldn't watch the playoff hockey game which is the whole reason why we choose to come to Top Golf in the first place - play sports and watch sports while doing it. The actual facility was very nice and clean. It emptied out almost entirely at 9pm and turned into a date night for young couples. The practice field lights up in the dark, which is why I recommend going when it is dark out. The stalls are heated/AC'd so whatever the weather may be, you will be comfortable. The food we eventually got was pretty good but very salty. I would only recommend the cauliflower crust harvest pizza. It's best to come with a group of 4, that way you'll get to play a couple games but split the bay rental decently. If you want more time to yourself - 1) don't come, go play at a real golfcourse where you can get better or 2) rent an entire bay for yourself for an hour and you'll get plenty of playing time. This location needs some serious help in the service department. The front desk people were also joking around the entire time and kept disappearing for time on end with no real explanation. Seems like the staff here does a whole lot of horsing around and minimal work. For the cost of a night at Top Golf, I expected better service. Don't get me wrong, we had a fun time, but there are some things this place needs to work on. It's $50 to reserve a bay (otherwise you might be waiting 1-3 hours, depending on the day). This fee does not apply to game play and is not refunded. We waited about 10 minutes after arriving for the bay to be ready. It's a text message reservation system, so we saw ourselves to the bay. Nobody helped us for awhile once we settled into the bay. We didn't know what we were doing or how to start. We had to flag down an attendant and she seemed pretty irritated. Once we got our assigned attendant, he set us up. Our waitress came around to take orders. The food and drink service is slow and the drinks are really sugary. I couldn't drink mine. You can split game play (about $20 something each) after you're finished. read more

Handicapped? We have been looking at a meal and some game fun here since the announced building. Our friend is in a manual wheelchair and wheels himself. He does golf, and loves good food & drink. I have called TG on 3 separate occasions at a variety of extensions. I always hang up after 20-25min of muzak on hold. I even tried "membership" thinking they can't wait to pick up my call for my money. I've left messages for call back on the party reservations line, nothing. Looking at the exterior frontage is a daunting Mayan temple of concrete stairs to the front door. Granted, they also provide a wheelchair ramp. FYI : code is 1:12 . That's 1 foot for every 1" raise. Now look how high those stairs go. I estimate 17 feet. That would translate to a ramp length of 204 feet to wheel oneself. Remember that guests with walkers and canes also need this. It really did look like the turnstiles at an amusement park going uphill. We drove around the side to ask some employees outside a service door smoking. One who was parked in handicapped, offered to move her car. No, were looking for an elevator. Another mentioned that the lower level was a working kitchen, and should not have guests. She although was completely understanding, and offered to lead us to a service elevator. Thank you. No thank you. We drove here to scout if our handicapped friends could come. All because no one answers the phone. How can I review without leaving my vehicle in the parking lot? Because this info is posted no where for others. More info.. It was very busy for a snowy Sunday at 8:30pm. The parking lot was plowed and well lit. Those enormous stairs were completely dry and clear of snow. Probably for safety concerns. The staff I encountered were extremely friendly and willing to accommodate. I was asked to email. I did twice. Weeks later I received a reply after being urged to contact TopGolf. I found this to be a kind extended hand of help. Just call first (see above). Tom, I apologize that we have not done a satisfactory job at communicating that we are indeed a handicap accessible venue. Upon entry we offer a handicap accessible ramp that accompanies the stairs in the front of our building. We also have an elevator that travels to all three floors. All three floors are open to the guests for food, beverage and game play. We have special mats that pull up to the game system that are tailored to the size and needs of a wheelchair. It is a very simple process to switch them out. If you could give me notice in advance that you were coming, I could personally ensure your group will get a couch style bay so that the tables in the bays are low enough to accommodate their needs! I would definitely come again! It had two levels the top level which was very high, and the bottom level they picked where you where gonna be. When i requested a spot they were very nice and it was easy to do. The service was very good, they helped with everything, i spilled a drink and they were so nice and cleaned it up for me! I saw the workers help some people out too! They also kept coming to check on us, i think that's very nice! The food there was ok, but I think the dessert menu is the best! especially the injectable donut holes! they came with syringes that had chocolate and raspberry jelly! Been to TopGolf many times this year and feel confident enough with my experience to submit a reasonable review TL;DR : worth it! Go have fun! And here is the rest of the review for those of you with reading & comprehension skills not damaged by social media.... Highs * Staff is awesome! They are helpful and hard working. Mad respect cuz I know service industry is not easy! * Even for beginners or non-skilled people, TopGolf games are a fun experience. * It is fam-friendly, good for large groups, couples, singles and super inclusive! * Parking is easy and plentiful. * Great atmosphere, regardless of the weather. * Takes up less land than a regular golf course and is still fun! Mids Price. On everything is a bit high but let's be honest, this should be expected so no point in complaining. This sort of fun is not cheap. Lows * The worst thing about TopGolf: they use sevenrooms for their reservations. Sevenrooms sucks. It is an unintuitive system with very poor user experience. I have had the displeasure of having to use it at other venues, not TopGolf, and each time sevenrooms is an utterly miserable experience. For example, if you are even able to make a reservation with sevenrooms crap interface, it does not repeat back information for verification of correctness prior to commit. Things like your cell number..which is kind of important with TopGolf reservations since they have to text you! Oh you need to make a change to your reservation? Not with sevenrooms you won't! Instead they display a screen telling you to call TopGolf (because I guess it's their problem?) However, sevenrooms app/website is so incompetent that when they tell you to call TopGolf to change a reservation, sevenrooms fails to include a phone number for TopGolf. How hard would that have been to include? Get a UX clue sevenrooms. Note to owners of TopGolf, sevenrooms is ripping you off. I gotta dock TopGolf one star because of your reliance on crap software systems that is sevenrooms, and not even sorry about it. Yall gotta learn. * Less bad but more on TopGolf theirselves...sometimes the scoring system will fail to score a ball when it lands in one of the pits. This can be frustrating when you make a perfect shot in a green or blue ring but no points are registered. Have been to TopGolf several times and this remains an issue that should not happen with technology TopGolf "brags" about in their advertisement - if it is not 99.9% reliable, fix it til it is. Still fun & recommended! Update: The constant advertisements for Puerto Vallarta on the scoreboard makes it hard to see my score. And Seriously, TopGolf, FIX the sensors so that they score balls that land in the pits! Gotta take away another star. read more

I'm a golfer, so I get a little more out of the scoring and games, but I can see how it can be fun for non-golfers and those wanting to learn more in a fun environment. The food is bleh and the drink prices are what you'd expect for an experience-style place like this, but the servers are always around and quick to check up on your table if you're ordering drinks and food during your time there. An hour, for me, is plenty of time - but if you've got a larger group you may want to be there for a few hours so that everyone has plenty of time to get as many swings in as they'd like for the price. First time going. All and all a great experience. The games are fun and really enjoyable. We played a two hr top golf with six people and had a blast. Staff is super friendly and Attentive. We decided to order food which was "sub par" for the price and type of place it is. We placed our order about 3:30pm and the place didn't seem very busy at all comparatively to night crowds they usually have. I ordered a burger and fries which took over a hour to come out and when it did everything was kinda cold. Not sure if it was the food but after getting home started feeling a little nauseous. From the moment you walk in the entrance at Topgolf everything is bigger than life and a little overwhelming. It is on such a grand scale. The place itself is enormous. The music is bumping and the golfers are boisterous. They have three floors of golf bays, so that adds up to a whole hell of a lot. We went on a brisk March Wednesday around 5pm. For as chilly as it was outside I was shocked at how many people were there to hit balls. The pleasant shock was that each bay is heated. So if you place your body directly below a heat lamp you can definitely be comfortable on a Columbus, Ohio winter night. Each person planning to play will need to become a member of TopGolf, the card that they issue you is a $5 charge. And if you lose it in the future you will be charged again. You can bring your own clubs to hit with, but I wouldn't suggest it, basically you are hitting HARD range balls, so save your clubs and use the clubs they provide. Left handed clubs are available on request. There are many game choices that you can cue up to play while in the bay. Just know that you rent the bay by the hour. There are great servers that come directly to you, so you can order up drinks and food. Of the food we ordered (Wings, fries, apps) the order is small for the price. I would call it typical bar food. The beers are also over priced but they come out fast and cold. We definitely had a friendly server that took great care of us. Overall we had a blast at Topgolf!!! Our group had way more fun than we expected, even in the cold. The place is pricey, but for a special occasion such as a birthday (which is why we were there) I would suggest it. We didn't find well explained game instructions and didn't get to play anything but "Topgolf" game. Food was good but a bit pricey. Played for 2 hours and ended up over $200 with tip. I'd say I'd like to go back but I'd have to be with a larger group to bring our costs down. I also would like to see Topgolf have better instructions on how to play the games. Again, disappointment from Topgolf. I have been to over half a dozen locations and this one is still the worst. Even on a slow Monday night the waitress took FOREVER bringing our drinks. Later, we wanted to order food and she was nowhere to be found. Another server brings us a beer that we didn't order, turns out our server rang it in under the wrong bay. She apologized and said that she rang it in under 207 instead of 307 and then TRIED TO SELL US THE FLAT BEER THAT WAS A MISTAKE IN THE FIRST PLACE. She literally said "well you're going to drink another beer right?" and looks at my friend with his 4/5 full beer. Like no??? He wanted ONE and also, even if he wanted another one, no one wants a flat beer sitting there. We decided to just not eat here because everything was a disaster anyway. We had to beg for water refills, everyone's cups were completely empty.. meaning we even ate the ice because she never came back. My daughter and son-in-law took me to Top Golf for Mother's Day (the day before). She made a reservation one week before. Website says "Upon arrival, check in with our rockstar front desk staff who will find the perfect bay for you." Well, that didn't happen. They put us on the ground floor. We said we preferred to be up on the second or third level. We have a reservation! They said, you will have to get on the waitlist which is two hours. Or talk to a manager. "That's not within my authority." No manager could be found. What? So we proceed downstairs and talk to another person about getting up a level. "Not within my authority. You need to talk to the supervisor in the red shirt." Well, he was no help either. I would have raised a bigger fuss, but I didn't want my daughter to feel any worse than she already did. Next, website says "Once you settle into your climate-controlled bay, a Bayhost will help you set up your game and create profiles for each player." We had to flag someone down for this. Then, they want to charge an extra $5 per person for what? The red shirt supervisor gave us some lame explanation and finally waived it. Climate control was elusive also. Glad I wore a sweatshirt. Then, the scoring system malfunctioned. Red shirt supervisor, "Yeah, that happens sometimes. You'll have to keep score yourself." Well, alrighty, then! Food was just okay. Carrot sticks that came with the hummus were all dried up. My daughter liked her wings which came with the bone in when she ordered boneless. This was quickly rectified by our great server, Betty. I did enjoy my Bloody Mary. All in all, our visit was somewhat frustrating and disappointing because we had heard how much fun this place is. This was my first time visiting this place and the whole experience was pretty cool. I went for a work team building event. We were greeted with a sign that had the company I worked for so I knew where to go. That was a nice touch. They also have a bar area that was nice to enjoy while we waited for them to get out section ready. We had our own person that took our orders and brought our food. A little disappointed in the way Topgolf is operated. Made a reservation and our booth was ready when at the time of our reservation, which is great! The service was terrible once we got in the bay. At one point it took 30 minutes for us to see and flag down our server, she stated she couldn't find a tablet. Once our time was up ($300 later) we were not told we had to hurry up and move with our food and drinks until they were clearing off our table. We were still eating. No boxes offered. Just go. I understand that they need to get the next group in, but the way we were dismissed from our bay (without being offered a box or asked by our server to move our things to the bar) we were just told we needed to go. The atmosphere, the view, the cleanliness, the first impression was all stellar! A group of us went Friday night and the place was jammin! We had a great time in our own little bay cracking balls!! Think bowling with a group, but way cooler with an upscale fun vibe! The seats are heated and they have heaters above you can control to meet your needs. From what I could see, there are people here for a good time all the way to serious golfers that bring their own gear, wear the white golf gloves--the whole shebang! I've never been golfing in my life as a side note! My review of the space, play experience, golfing part--5 stars all the way! Now on to the food and drink service...2.5 stars at best. It was pretty much a nightmare. I guess with 3 couples, I would presume the server would ask if we need separate checks. He did not. I'm still not sure if we were charged correctly because a detailed receipt was not available, even after requesting it. He was dressed up for Halloween and dancing to the music seemed more important than great service! As a side note, they did have good music going! Ha! But I'm a foodie and service is important to me...especially when you're spending a night out for a couple hours for well over $100 bucks for 2. Food was just ok. Think chain...Applebee's or Friday's as a comparison. My drink literally tasted like it had zero alcohol it and it was $18! One of the last beautiful weather weekends left of the year and was looking for an outside activity to do. Thought about seeing how busy Top Golf was during Covid. Checked on Thursday for a Saturday evening reservation. The website informed me all pre-reservations were booked for Saturday evening. Fast forward to Saturday. Returned to the website (don't really know why), and tried booking again for the same evening. For some reason, it let me! Arrived prior to our reserved time and luckily was a great evening to wait for our text message outside. We then received the text that our bay was ready and made our way inside. Our family went to Topgolf for brunch on a Sunday. All of our food was delicious and we enjoyed the menu options with something for everyone in our family. The farmers market Benedict was a healthy twist on a classic and our favorite dish. We also ordered the Texas brisket hash skillet, French toast, and Carrot cake waffles. Carrot cake waffles were slightly dry on the inside but still yummy. The inject your own donut holes were a fun treat and very tasty. Today I finally experienced Topgolf and it was a blast!! If you are a seasoned golfer or never swung a club in your life it's fun for all. The service is great and the food is decent. Now, it's a little pricey but it's worth how much fun you will have. They have numerous games you can play and time flies when you are having this much fun. Make sure you preorder your time and the bays are large enough for six and have clubs for you to use. The weather really isn't an issue, you have great cover and the bays are heated if it's a little cold out. I will be coming back here for sure, why do I love so far away!!!! read more

So this is a covid review. Went there with a friend, and have to say they are setup pretty well for covid. They have barriers between bays, I saw them cleaning off clubs after others left. The one reason it wasn't a 5 star, and maybe I am being to picky is they did not have sanitizer in each bay. Since I went with a friend who I do room with, I realized all the things we both have to touch, like clubs and touch screen. I would like to see some kind of sanitation stand near the touch screen.
