Great local spot. I was visiting my brother who lived in the neighborhood and we were able to walk here. Great happy hour and food was top notch and way better than just "bar food"! My family loved the fried pickles, the pizza was huge and the Italian sandwich was very big. A couple of us ordered the buffalo tenders or buffalo wrap and the chicken was extra crispy. We went here a few times during our stay and every server was attentive and our order was current every time. Great NA beer selection, but no mocktails list. 10/10! read more

Decided to take our date night out to the Goat and check out their new menu. The food was awesome and plenty to share - be sure to order their new wings and hot chicken dip! Our server was attentive and very sweet. The only negative that night was the bartender who must have been having a really bad night. When he started shouting and swearing at the staff we decided to leave early. read more

First time at this location. I met friends for dinner which included happy hour prices (til 7 pm!). It's a nice big space and the service was wonderful. At first it was a little confusing as to where to park & enter. Parking is actually at the clubhouse for the apartment complex, and there is a sign for The Goat once you climb a few outdoor steps. I ordered the house-made tots to share, and then my favorite salad, the Avocado Lime, with added Mahi. Always tasty. My favorite happy hour drink here is the Black Walnut Old Fashioned. We went here on a Sunday for Mother's Day brunch and there were only about 3 other tables there but it took over 30 minutes to get our drinks and over an hour to get our food just for it to be cold and ended up throwing up all night. I want to rate a 2, but I am giving a 3 because the food was pretty good. The service was not good. We got there and there was going to be 4 of us. When we asked for a table, the lady said that the wait would be 5-10 minutes and we said okay that's fine we'll wait. Then a minute later she comes back and says that it's actually going to be 20-25 minutes. We didn't care so again we said that was fine. The weird part was that the dining area is really open, so you can see basically all of the tables. So we could see that more than half the tables were open. Maybe they were short staffed that night? I'm not sure. And finally, after only being there for 3 minutes waiting, she came back and said she could seat us. There was essentially no wait, so it was confusing why she said so many different things. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. But after we were done, things got weird again. We were sitting next to a table and they seemed to be monopolizing the place. They were never happy with their food or the fact that the windows were open or the fact that there was a waitress cleaning the table and sweeping next to them. So our waitress was constantly running back and forth from their table back to the kitchen to keep grabbing them things. This went on for literally 45 minutes. We know it wasn't the waitress' fault, it was just ridiculous what these people were putting her through. I would go back, and hopefully everyone is just having a better day. read more

I have been coming and eating here for years, it is my spot!! I may be biased since I live in the neighborhood, but COME ON! I have the chance to walk to a wonderful bar with amazing and fun drinks with food for any person, you have to check this spot out!! In the summer, they open up all the doors and windows and it overlooks the pool, such awesome vibes, I come here all throughout the year for happy hours, dinners, work events and even fun events they put on!! Mmmm if you are drunk you'll probably be in the mood to wait 25 minutes before your order is taken. Then another hour for food while the place is dead and has a total of 20 people. Go to another location because this Goat is terrible. Also one sliver of Brie does not constitute the burger to be a Brie burger? Every bite should have Brie not just one. read more

The Goat is a great location with pretty good food. We visit there sometimes as it's close to family. We were there Saturday afternoon with a couple who was never there. We had issues with 3 of our drink orders ( the 4th person ordered beer which had no issues). I ordered a skinny margarita- server said I don't know what that is? I suggested if bartender didn't know I'd be happy to choose another drink. It came out fine. On the 2nd margarita I believe it had vodka and was completely different and I sent it back. Same thing for friend #2.. different margarita when she ordered her 2nd one. 3rd person ordered specialty drink off of menu and server brought out 2 of them saying that the bartender is a perfectionist and messed the first one up and we brought it out anyway. Both tasted terrible. They charged us for all the drinks we sent back (and the specialty mystery concoction)! We didn't complain as the server kept saying bartenders are on shift change. We tried to be understanding. However to be charged for drinks we didn't order, were not correct and we did not drink, is bad practice! Previous visits when we've ordered wine it was obvious it had soured and not been preserved properly. Maybe this is a restaurant whom caters to a beer crowd? Just a warning to those looking for a quality cocktail. read more

The food here is always good and the happy hour is a steal. My issue lies with the wait staff. I will say most if not every single time I visit the service is slow. This last time was no different. We had to flag down our server multiple times because he was off standing around or chatting with other servers. First time I've ever gone to one of these restaurants. What a great idea!! Situated surrounded by homes of all kinds, the place should always be packed. Their location is not the only reason. All eleven of us enjoyed our food selections, especially me. I had the chicken fingers with fries. At first I thought they might be overcooked, but they were absolutely amazing! I get them practically everywhere and they have to be the best I've ever had. The fries were crispy, like I asked, and the accompanying BBQ sauce was yummy, also some of the best ever. We went at 3:00 on a Sunday, having called ahead for reservations, but we may not have needed them. However having two small children in our group, the bench seating was perfect for our group. Although pretty hot outside, there was still a little breeze blowing thru the doors. I'm MOT sure how they keep the flies outside, but whatever they're doing is working. Maybe a few more fans, with maybe some clever wall adaptations made would be advantageous. Last but not lease, our server was amazing! He kept our beverages full, took our orders quickly, had our food out in a snap (with the help of the kitchen staff), and always with a smile. The Goat is a perfect atmosphere to go hang out with friends, watch football and enjoy the ambiance! The food is great, the buffalo chicken wrap is a favorite amongst the group, and the service is always super great and attentive. We ended up loving the environment so much that we continue to go back for game nights or to get together during the week, lots of TV to keep everyone happy, and great happy hour specials, too! (I'd rather the restaurant let you know than have you sit yhere for 45mins) I played a few rounds of Dartsy and than they sat me and my friend. It's, well, kind of what I expect for a neighbor bar. The service is incredibly slow no matter the time of day or crowd size. There are a ton of drink options that are pretty reasonable. Depending on the bartender they can be heavy handed on the mixed drinks but I'm not complaining. The food I've had so far has been good (though the boneless wings look like turds and that's hard to get past that). The sweet potato fries are shockingly amazing. I could probably go there and just eat fries and drink beer. 'Tis the life I suppose. It's incredibly loud, not somewhere to hang out and chat unless you can sit outside. I highly recommend this when the pool is open for people watching. My friend and I spent a good 20 minutes watching a guy with a pathetically small man bun wander aimlessly around the pool trying to start conversation with people before getting in the water and splashing around. It's been my favorite experience at The Goat so far. If you're looking for a place to camp out and watch a game (remember service is slow you can't be in a hurry) I recommend checking it out. read more

Came here because we wanted to go somewhere new on our "date night" and my wife picked this place after she saw it on Yelp We split wings and a pizza (see pics) and had PLENTY of food. The pizza was cooked perfectly and was very tasty and the wings were "over the top" good Wings were naked style and not greasy at all and they were HUGE wings compared to most wing joints We are glad we came It is attached to an apartment complex so that's the crowd you see and it can get quite noisy BUT the food was the Bomb ! read more

What a nice little neighborhood bar. I went recently to watch the Ohio State Football game and it was super nice. The bar was packed and therefore you know it is good. I did not get food, but I got a few drinks. The bar was stocked with all the drinks that you could want. I ended up just getting a white claw. The price was super cheap. When you arrive at this place, they have ample parking. The staff that I interacted with were all really friendly. They have plenty of tv's for watching the games and other things you may want to watch. I really enjoyed my first and only time I have been to The Goat. If I lived closer I would go way more often! read more
