Best Thai food in town, good portions, and friendly service! My favorite dishes are the yellow curry and pineapple fried rice.

The previous post of other people is true there's a kinda rude lady. Think she just needs to learn some customer service or she might not be aware of it. Place is 2 mins away from us so been wanting to try their food coz we always go to Diamond Thai in Glendora. Been craving Tom Ka and my daughter wanted Pad see ewe so I ordered online which is nice and my husband picked up. He was not greeted, he asked for his order and was just pointed where it is and he asked for to go menu coz I need it for next time but again seriously pointed in a rude way. It's funny coz I told him about the previous post before he picked up and he went home to say "yah she's there". Maybe if the owner ( or maybe she's the owner or family) reads comments about their place here in yelp they can fix the problem. Food is ok could be better. read more

If there was a ZERO star. That's the score I rate this place. That's what they are. BAD. BAD. BAD customer service. This is the worst ever in my restaurant dinning experience. If you want Thai food go someplace else like Lucky Elephant on Arrow Highway or Thai Orchid on Foothill Blvd. The person taking the order does not have any manners. She talks bad of customers on the phone while we were waiting for our food to go. She even said if you call and don't know what you like call again or order to another restaurant. Never ask a question or she's going to show how uneducated this person was. I hope she is not the owner because this kind of service should be stopped. Never again !!!! Oh my goodness, I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life! Placed an order for the first, and last, time today & was met with animosity from the moment I placed my phone call to being handed the food. The woman who answered the phone & gave me my order snapped at me twice when I had questions about the menu, ignored me when I thanked her for giving me my food & slammed the door on me. I discovered this place through a Yelp search. I was interested in trying it due to its vicinity, good reviews, and prices. Located in downtown San Dimas, it has a small town feel from the outside. Inside, the restaurant is charming. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a very friendly male worker. I have been coming here for YEARS and today I received and witnessed the most appalling behavior and service by Annie. She was immediately rude when we walked in, i dismissed thinking maybe we caught her at a bad moment because I've never experienced this with her before. We sat, then we're tossed menus at our table, she slammed down cups and filled them with water and left only to return a few minutes later becoming more alarming, I was over the top friendly trying to drag her out of her mood but it didn't help. There was only other table aside from us and and she was stomping back and fourth, when our food came out she again slammed them on the table and left. The first table paid and quickly rushed out as another table Annie clearly knew came in, she went to clean up the table that left and starting swearing and dropping the F word for everyone to hear. They did not tip her, I imagine for her terrible service. She slammed dishes, shoved the table in the middle of the room and loudly said "if you can't f**cking pay a tip, DONT COME IN!" She proceeded to tell the most recent table that came in all about it and said if she had know they didn't tip she would have followed them out and said something about it, my table was so uncomfortable and wanted to leave immediately. A while later when food was done she brought us the bill and suddenly her behavior changed like she knew it was tip time!! I will never ever patronize this business ever again no matter how good the food is, they are plenty of other great Thai business out there that deserve good business, this just no longer is one of them. I waited for my food outside and had my earbuds in. The tall lady that condescendingly parades around the place approached me with some sass and read my order aloud while my back was turned. I took my ear buds out and said sorry I didn't hear any of that. She darted her eyes at me and said "then you can read it here," pointing at the ticket and stormed off. Visited this place with some coworkers and everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered shrimp pad thai which came with an egg roll and hot and sour soup. Everything in my plate was delicious. My coworkers ordered kungpao tofu and they inhaled it. Usually one of my coworker never finishes her food completely but she loved it so much that she ate it all and that tells you a-lot!! By far one of the most authentic Thai food in the area. Everything my wife and I ordered there were superior to the other Thai restaurants down the street. Recommendations are both of their soups, whole fried fish, pad Thai, green (and red) curry, Thai basil (any type of meat choice or veggie), and green Papaya salad. There are tons more on the menu that are delicious, just don't want to list the whole menu lol. Try it out, you won't be disappointed. read more

We were in San Dimas for a funeral; and decided to stop at Top Thai Table because we had great memories of eating there with our family member that passed away. Wish we had skipped it. This place is nothing like it used to be. Our first clue should have been that we were the only people in the place. And if we needed another clue, the hostess/waitress was hostile and rude from the moment we walked in the door. As we sat there waiting for our food, we realized the place is covered in ridiculous signage. I wish I had taken pictures. One sign read something like "We give you the right amount of sauce. Don't ask for more." Another read, "Read, we don't take American Express." And my favorite sign, "We follow CDC guidelines Masks are Mandatory! Regardless of vaccination status." Hello. It's not 2021 anymore! . I wish the hostess had asked us to mask when we walked in the door. We would have just left. But she didn't. She was just gruff, rude, and ignored us as much as possible. If the food had at least been good, I'd consider recommending placing a to go order. But it wasn't. I've had frozen dinners that tasted A LOT better. And if all that wasn't enough, we hadn't seen or waitress in so long, we had to walk up to the hostess station to request our check. (We we're still the only people in the place) Once she ran our card and handed us the receipt to sign, we took it back to our table to sign. So the hostess rushes to our table and grabs the pen we were using and hands us a nearly identical pen, stating that the first pen was not supposed to be removed from the front desk. WTH!?!?! If she had waited 30 seconds longer, she could have picked up our signed credit card receipt and taken her "special front desk only" pen back to the front desk. I always do my best to support small businesses; but this place doesn't deserve any support. Nothing has changed, I was greeted by Manager/Owner Annie slamming a $10 bill onto her verification machine on the counter to ensure it wasn't counterfeit as she spoke to herself out loud saying " These people are so difficult" obviously talking about her Patrons. I was disgusted by her Rude sign and horrible manners. "Those People" are who keep you in business mam. She does not represent our community of San Dimas. We are better than this! Just look at all the reviews mentioning this ungrateful rude woman. She is always so Angry. I vow never to give her my business. "Please make sure you don't come back!" These were the last words of the "waiter" as we exited the restaurant, just for asking him why they were charging me 20% gratuity for four plates!! We decided to visit TOP thai table restaurant early afternoon Saturday, truly because it was not the first time we ate there and the food was not bad. However, the waiter "discriminated" my special needs child, stating she did not look like a child (my daughter is eleven years old). We did not order food for her, but she ate a little bit from my plate. from my plate. This person wanted to deliberately argue with me that my special needs daughter had also tasted the food, and he deserved the tip!!!! Of course, I asked him to return the tip and give us the choice to decide what his tip would be. Next thing we know, he talks to his boss and they "recharge" our card with a second bill (with the adjusted amount without the tip) and told us that a full refund with the original amount would be posted to our account in "FIVE" business days!! That is absolutely ridiculous!!! They will rip you off with the gratuity charges (which the bill shows as a suggestion, not a must) if you get distracted. Always look at the bill very carefully before you pay. If we do not receive our money back in five days, we will definitely call the BBB (Better Business Bureau to make a report!! read more

My family and I come here almost once a month. If you want to have some of the best Thai food in your entire life come here. I have been to so many other Thai places and none of them can not even compare to top Thai. I have been growing here since i was very very young and I have seen it improve so much over the years. The waiters are so kind and if you are a local they know. Over the years I have found that their best dishes are Pad see ew with beef, pineapple fried rice with chicken, and orange chicken or satay chicken. If you like curry, the yellow curry is also amazing. The service is great and delivery is also very quick. Top Thai is one of the most hidden restaurants and if you don't plan to go there you might never end up there but you will definitely make the best decision to go there. Then I went for some take out couple days later but since I was sick I couldn't really tell if the food was still the same. They changed the interior, less decoration (which I don't mind, look more simple and neat). Still very clean and quiet. Nice and cool in summer. Boat noodle soup- the flavor and ingredients were all different. The portion seemed bigger but we did not like it much. Drunken noodle (Phad kee- Mao). The portion was quite huge. The noodle were laying on a big bed of lettuce. I don't like the fact flat noodles were all stuck together. It was spicy but the flavor itself was kind bland. Yellow curry- way too sweet for my liking. The potato was under-cooked so we took all of the potato off. Eggplant and tofu- bland, lacking a kick. Something is missing. I still love eggplants though. Tom Yum Koong Soup with shrimp- not bad. Also I had tried their lunch special once, the pad see wee was good. The lunch special comes with soup (wonton soup)or salad.Good portion and good price. Pad See Ew Thai Noodle here is the best I've eaten so far! My mouth was very happy when I first tried it and eating it with white rice and their BBQ Chicken was a great experience that it made me smile as I eat. LOL seriously. I highly recommend this place to all Thai Food Lovers out there! I've never actually dined-in here, but gotten to-go on many occasions. They are on eat24 and linked thru here, so it's been a quick and easy process. (Almost too easy cus anytime I get too lazy to cook or go to the store, I just order out) My only 1 complaint is that their online menu does not have all the options that their dine in menu has. For example, the online menu does not have the "Special Menu" Items listed like Boat noodles. My faves here: TTT Salad- Love the peanut dressing Tom Yum Noodle Soup- Very Flavorful Pad Kee Mao- Love that they use ground chicken. Some may be turned off that the flat rice noodles are all broken up, but that doesn't bother me because it tastes delicious. My orders are always ready in under 20 min and packaged neatly and securely for the drive home. Check your portions on take out. I recently ordered some to-go and when I got back home, I saw that the container was maybe 1/2 full. For a $12 dish, this was very frustrating. We found this place in august while staying at burnelli bluffs, we now live in Orange County and still drive up to San dimas at least 3 times a month for the best food ever. Been coming here ever since they opened and really debated leaving this review as I love the staff except the owner. The food is lovely! I cannot fault them on that, even through every new ownership change the food has never been compromised, with the exception of the portions being smaller, but in all reality that happens in most restaurants due to the price of food increasing throughout the years. I do however hate giving my business and lining the owners pockets even more so as she is nothing but rude. In the past 3+ years of her being there, this woman has smiled at me once!! The rest of the times she's been nothing but rude and sour faced. I'm not some loud rambunctious person, I go in order my food and leave. On the off chance I do dine in, I do so with class! So I have no idea what her issue is, I was thinking maybe its just with me but everyone whom I've spoken to all say the same. As I said I hesitated on leaving this review but maybe this will give you a little wake up call and a slight attitude change as you have now lost yourself a VERY loyal customer. We went here last night with a party of 8 to celebrate a couple of family birthdays together. I believe it is my sister-n-law's favorite Thai restaurant. We had a reservation and the table was saved when we got there. Unlike comments I have heard about "Annie", the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is a little dated and doesn't look really clean inside. They had one table just covered with personal junk which I thought was a little unprofessional. Let' see if I got it all. We basically ordered 1 item each we wanted and agreed we'd share. In all we ordered: Chicken Satay, Dumplings, Pad Thai Noodles, Pad Kee Noodles, Yellow Curry w/Beef, Crab Friend Rice, Eggplant Basil, Cashew Chicken. The food was just Ok, nothing was spectacular. Was a little disappointed with the Curry. It was quite watery with no flavorful punch like you're used to. My favorite, though not by any means unanimous, was the Cashew Chicken. I did think it was odd that white rice was a $1.50 extra. We ordered 2 of those. Almost any curry dish requires rice to be used as a bed to sop up the sauce. So it was unusual to charge for it. One last weird thing is there must be one cook because each dish came out one at a time, about 5 minutes apart. So definitely impossible to have all your meal served warm at once. That was very annoying. To nibble on 2 bites of something, then wait 5 minutes for the next nibble of food. They brought out a birthday dessert for the 2 celebrating and check arrived when asked.
