We'd been craving Thai food since we moved back down from the Bay Area, so when we were driving around looking for some place to eat, we didn't hesitate in pulling into the driveway. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The food? Eh. Though I'm guessing this has nothing to do with the cooks themselves, but recipes slightly altered to accomodate to the demographics of the area. As soon as we sat down we ordered our usuals, pad thai and pad-see-ew. The waitress jotted down our order and walked away, and our conversation went like this: "She didn't ask how spicy we wanted it." "Well you know, I didn't see any 'spicy' indicators on the menu." "Hm, well I guess we could always ask for chili sauce." And we did. When the food came out, it was bland and missing a lot of the usual flavors we've been accustomed to and the tons of other Thai restaurants we went to. The chicken had no flavor, and the pad-see-ew noodles too were bland. The pad thai was bright orange and overly sweet. Combined we used the entire jar of chili sauce to spice it up some, and it began tasting like the food we'd grown to love. We added some fish sauce too, to give it a bit more flavor. All in all, we were kinda disappointed with the food because it didn't have much flavor or spice. If you don't care for spicy foods or maybe your stomach can't handle spicy then this is definitely the Thai place for you. read more

This is my go to thai restaurant in the neighborhood. Decent size restaurant with traditional Thai decor. My favorite dishes are: 1) Rahd-Nah = Fried rice noodle, chinese broccoli with thai sauce. I usually ask for it with beef & shrimp. The sauce is great. 2) Chicken Jungle Curry = cooked with fresh thai chili, young green pepper, pickled krachi, green & red bell pepper, lemon grass, dry chili & basil leaves. Spicy & flavorful. 3) Eggplant Basil = cooked in salted soy bean sauce with sweet-Thai basil, red & green bell pepper & onions. Get it with tofu. Eggplant still firm & not overcooked. 4) Chinese Broccoli with crispy pork = sauteed in oyster sauce. Crispy thin slices of pork. 5) Pad Prik King = Stir-fried with onion, garlic, & green beans. Get it with tofu. Beans are always crisp. They have an extensive menu to choose from including vegetarian specials. Also serve beer & wine. You can choose the level of spice for any dish. One of the best Thai restaurants in the area. There are other Thai restaurants in my neighborhood but I would rather drive 15 mins farther for Top Thai Table. My favorite dish is their shrimp pad Thai. It's well seasoned and not overly sweet like other places. Their mango sticky rice is a must (when it's in season). It's so good! I took my mom to this place on Mother's Day, and the food is good! The pad thai here is the best I've had around here, and I even asked them to cater for my birthday party! This is definitely our favorite Thai restaurant! We've been going here for years and nowhere else can beat it. Try the panang curry (they even do it with salmon) or the Pad Kee Mao! The pork jerky is also amazing! They have boba and their thai tea is superb. The service is fantastic! We look forward to seeing them when we come in. We appreciate the added sanitation and care they take with deliveries too. Everything is bagged and taped closed, clean, and fresh. Wonton soup is delicious, and we always go for pad see we, garlic and pepper beef, and a couple other dishes. This is our absolutely favorite Thai restaurant !!! It's because of not only the delicious array of Thai dishes but because of the wonderful warmth and efficiency of the owner and staff. The food is really good and fresh but the customer service is always bad. They offer delivery but when I called to ask for delivery she said "you can't pick it up?". I understand they get busy but I'm obviously requesting delivery because I can't pick it up. However, my husband said he didn't mind going to pick up the order and she grunted like she was annoyed when I told her we would pick it up. Then she continued to grunt when I ordered. I'm ordering right off the menu and not asking what is in the dish so the grunt and "ok" is unnecessary. Then I proceeded to order and she said "I know you aren't ready to order can you call back?" What! I'm obviously placing the order! So I'm ready to order. In this case they should stop taking phone orders if they are overwhelmed. One of the better Thai restaurants in San Dimas. Oddly enough, there are a lot of Thai restaurants in the La Verne/San Dimas area. I've tried most of them and narrowed it down to two that I really like. Top Thai is one of them and I like how they accommodate for their patrons. I often send in my order through yelp and come in and pick it up. Every time its ready to go. So far everything I've ordered here has been excellent. They have a good kick in spice in some of their noodle dishes. Most of the other places in the area, make they're meals very bland. Thai should be an expense of exotic flavors, luckily this place does it right. My only complaint would be that the meals feel a little small, but that's just personal preference. One of the better places, I would definitely say don't waste your time with other places and head on over here. read more
