Food and quality and the flavor is outstanding! My wife and I were driving home from Disneyland and decided to try a new Thai spot. Tell you what this spot caught us by surprise and the food and flavor was amazing. The owners greeted us with smile and kindness. We found us a new Thai spot! Thank you for hospitality and amazing service and food! Beef Pad Se Ew and Chicken Basil Fried Rice.

I visited Top Thai Table on a weekend afternoon - a rarity since I always enjoy lunch specials at Thai restaurants. Feeling only slightly adventurous, I tried the Pineapple Fried Rice with Beef and was pleasantly surprised. The portions were alright, and there were many ingredients. My favorite part of the rice was that it held well together and was easy to eat. However, I found the overall flavor to be too salty and ended up drinking a few glasses of water. I also had an opportunity to try a piece of fried fish from a friend, and I also found it to be on the saltier side. The fish was encased in quite a bit of breading but was otherwise as expected. Although it was a weekend afternoon, I was a little disappointed to see that we were the only my friend and I were the only party dining in. There were maybe two to-go orders, and half of the restaurant was closed off as well :( After our meal, they gave us the check along with guava candies and coffee candy.

The food is absolutely delicious! These are authentic Thai flavors. I had the Pad see ew and it was amazing paired with the yellow curry and rice!

Its broth is rich, creamy, and savory. Every bite felt like heaven. (Important Note: Currently, there's a Yelp Check-In Promotion! Free Ice Cream, Soda, or Hot Tea for one in-person Check-In.) I arrived at Kaiba (La Verne) on Saturday (around 1:45PM). Parking is easy. The lot is spacious & big. Service felt professional, accommodating, and welcoming. My server (Jayden) worked hard. Jayden maintained a bright cheery demeanor; Jayden was very attentive & quickly assisted me; and Jayden always worked non-stop in the background. My food arrived around 6 minutes and 15 seconds. Very fast!! As mentioned, I found happiness in my meal. This Tonkotsu Ramen felt memorable and special. Its egg is silky, falling apart effortlessly as it hits the tongue. Its chasu is charred, tender, and thick. The broth is creamy and rich. And most importantly, the noodles are bountiful and springy. I felt all my stress seep away with each euphoric bite. In addition, the Gyoza tasted fresh and crisp. Its filling came juicy, and I reveled how each bite left a light crunch. And the Green Tea Ice Cream (Complimentary with Yelp Check-In Promotion) tasted chill, smooth, and refreshing. All in all, the value and quality of this meal felt unmatched. Concerning ambiance, Kaiba (La Verne) felt a little sporadic. It's clean, spacious, and well-ventilated. However, its appearance is a little ugly since folded plastic bags and boxes are sprawled outside in plain view. Still, I appreciated the food photos on the wall. Kaiba (La Verne) also has utility. I appreciated the flat screen TV; it plays the football game. Also, I observed a high-chair for kids, so this location is family friendly. The location also felt spacious with its high ceiling. Overall, I had a lovely, magical experience at Kaiba (La Verne). I am very excited that the hype is genuine. I left full and happy. If you love ramen, this is an easy recommendation. 5 out of 5. They were also very nice to let me sample their bun bo hue broth, which was very good and not too spicy. My girlfriend really liked their broth as well and thought it was authentic for Vietnamese standards. However, I decided to opt for the Pho Brisket sandwich as I didn't feel like eating any heat for the night. The pho brisket sandwich was pretty big, and the meat was very tender. The pho broth was rich and it is southern style too. I loved dipping the sandwich into the broth. The greens and picked onions were fresh, and the fries were crispy and the right amount of salt. I really enjoyed my meal and definitely next time I would like to try the bun bo hue style sandwich.

I ordered the Tai Lan, which is a fun cross between phở and a noodle salad. Sliced tender ribeye sits over garlic oil phở noodles on a bed of greens and fresh herbs, tossed with a shallot tamarind sauce, topped with crispy garlic, and served with a side of their 24-hour bone broth to sip or pour over. The ribeye was genuinely tender, the tamarind sauce had a nice tangy-sweet kick, and the crispy garlic tied it all together. Added some sriracha for a little more flavor and to give it a kick. Best phở I've ever had? No. But it's a clever modern take and I left very full and very happy, which is exactly what I needed. And if phở isn't your thing, the menu sprawls into wagyu phở, garlic noodles with filet, lomo saltado, sandwiches (which look amazing) and even Vietnamese coffee with sea salt foam. Plenty to explore. This is now the first spot I'd send anyone to in the Glendora Public Market, and a real step up from the ramen place that used to be in the same space. Already plotting my return.

We were seated quickly and taken back by how vibrant the interior was. We decided to order multiple plates and share so we ordered Dumpling Soup, Grilled Swai, Chicken Katsu Curry, and Garlic Noodles. Everything was so delicious but the Garlic Noodles were the star of the show for me. They weren't dry or oily, it was the perfect texture. They even brought us chili oil. We ended up getting Milky Buns for dessert which tasted like warm beignets. The prices also weren't bad at all for the amounts that we got. We also utilized the lunch special and happy hour so our portions were a bit smaller. Amazing service with friendly staff. Love this place and can't wait to be back.

6pm, Friday, September 19, 2025…read more It was hopping in downtown Claremont. My date had a certain place in mind though... House of Pong Asian Fusion. It was my first visit here but it won't be my last. I had already did my browsing of what's on the menu. I joined in on the crispy tofu for the appetizer and the crispy salmon skin salad. When we walked in it was busy. The Dodger game was on at the bar. There were maybe three open tables at most. We were seated at their small table against the wall. A cozy table for two. We were greeted by our friendly server, she brought the menus and ask us about drinks to start. I've water all around, haha. She came back with our water. Ooh, tasted like cucumber water... Refreshing. While my lady was deciding, I ordered: crispy tofu appetizer (presented in a small dish, about 10-12 pieces of hot, crispy cubes of golden tofu with a dipping sauce) and the salmon skin salad for my entree. The salad was an ample sized serving to share between the two of us. The salmon skin was julienned and were crispy little clumps like miniature fishy hash browns. Very crispy and tasty salad that included sliced tomatoes, cucumber, and scallions on mixed greens. My date ordered the charshu ramen. We shared our plates. The ramen was very tasty. The noodles had a good chew, not over cooked. Mmm, that was delicious. The robotic server was kitchy and cute. Maybe it does assist them with delivering plates to the table but the human server was observed transferring them from the bot to the table. For our table, we had our food delivered in stages not at the same time. The crispy tofu arrived first, then the ramen, and several minutes later came the salmon skin salad. Not a deal breaker but noticed. Food was good. Service was okay, could be better.
