Time for a fill.
Cheryl O.

Been going here for the past 10 years. Broke is the best!! I use Tina or Kevin if he is on vacation. I always am 100% satisfied when I leave.

A picture speaks volumes. This was my first and last time.

I was a walk-in and was able to get in is the reason I gave them a 4. Kevin was brutal with the clippers and a horrible polisher. After I saw that the color wasn't very visible and it needed a white base. So we switched to red

Kevin does a great job! He gets my nails just the way I like them and is very fun to talk to.

uses plastic barriers between technician and client. Wonderful massage chairs.

Great social distancing, protecting tech and client. $35 got a really nice pedicure. She did a little extra for my sore foot. Very accomodating

Breaking out from dirty wax!

This place does okay nails but waxes ??? Nooooo run because they double dip into the wax and use the same one wax stick on your face. I got my chin waxed and lord I never broke out this bad my chin itches so bad plus my eyebrows are breaking out because she double dipped actually my whole face is breaking out because she didn't use gloves and touched my face when she needed to turn my head plus she didn't wash her hands at all she just immediately started waxing took her 5 mins.

New set of fake nails to keep me from biting! Yes it's still christmas in my house.

One of my New Year's resolutions (for the last 17 New Years) has been to stop biting my nails. Ugh. I just cannot stop. I'm fully aware of how gross and dumb and unhygienic blah blah blah it is to bite your nails. Duh. So I'm disgusting, but I really do want to change. After an Elite event where I had my sad little no-nails painted, I realized that it's fun to have nicer looking nails. I even stopped myself from biting them a bit because I didn't want to mess them up. So I decided to take it to the next level and get a full set of acrylic nails with gel nail polish. Very hard to bite through, and pretty enough to make me way more aware of my bad habit! I decided to visit Top Nails because they had decent low-ish prices ($20 for a full set with plain polish, an extra $10 for the gel polish). Plus this place is close to my house. They took me as a walk-in and my nail tech was extremely nice and warm and funny. He gave me some tips for treating my mangled cuticles (baby oil for softening and making it hard to pick at/bite hangnails), and he was gentle with my sad, sore fingers. I mean there's a lot of scary sounding filing going on with several different filing tools. It's like being at the dentist for your fingernails. Terrifying. But my nail dude seemed to sense my anxiety and made me super comfortable. Plus he did a really great job with my new nails. They're still longer than I wanted them to be (I wanted them to look as natural as possible), but he said any shorter and they'd look like "baby nails." Hahah. So I went with it and I'm happy. The salon itself is nothing fancy. It's not like a warmly lit relaxing spa. We're talking fluorescent lights, chemical-y scents, and a couple of TVs playing talk shows. Cluttered but clean. I wasn't offered anything to drink which I suppose I assumed would happen, but oh well. All in all it was affordable and my fake little nails make me happy.

I've tried and I'm done. I've been going to this nail salon for several years with my mom. Sometimes they have good days, but most of the times I've been there were bad. I got a dip powder coffin-shaped manicure and my eyebrows waxed. I really like how the nail technician, Tina, did my nails. My nails are a little bumpy, but I do like the color and the even shape. But my brows. Oh my goodness I am livid. Tina did my brows as well, and when I asked her if she was going to or if she was setting up she said, "I will try my best." That was a huge red flag to where I should've just waited to get my eyebrows done elsewhere, but nope. The shape of my eyebrows are beautiful, but oh my goodness she burned me and ripped my skin off and when I said that I felt a burning sensation she said, "Oh, your skin burns easily." What?! I replied back, "No it doesn't." Of course it's going to burn a person's skin and rip their skin if you keep the wax on there for like 15 seconds while it's burning hot! It's so painful to the touch and I can't put makeup on or wash my face properly because of the burns and ripped skin. The picture I have attached is of my eyebrow, and honestly it looks so much worse in person. This also isn't the first time this has happened at this salon, this is the third. I've gone back about once a year (or two) hoping that this place would improve. I'm done. Don't ever come here. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Broke my nail tech he's the best and he's the only nail tech I go to he sweet and kinda and very funny he picks my day up I love his personal he sweet in kinda a one of the best nail tech in Fort Worth

Fingers

I called before arriving to confirm that they were able to do a full set and a FULL SERVICE SPA PEDICURE (this will be important later). My nails came out uneven. Okay; whatever, it happens and I don't typically complain. The tech kept trying to upsell me on gel for my toes 3-4 times after I explicitly said I just want standard polish and had a color already picked out. Then, it's time for the "pedicure". She has me sit up in the chair and immediately starts clipping my toes and putting polish on. I thought, that's kinda weird because usually they do the foot care first. Nope, no foot care. No cuticle care. No soak. No lotion. I had confirmed with the tech twice that I wanted a pedicure, a spa pedicure. I asked the manager, he said maybe it's a miscommunication. That's fine, but they sent me away with my nails AND toes looking like crap! And still charged me $70!

The nail that was burning under left a bruise under my nail

But my "2-weeks past my refill time" nails looked horrible. So after a Yelp search and a confirm from a dear friend, I made my way to this local "fave". When I arrived 20 minutes after opening, it was packed and I immediately second-guessed my decision. But, the "people mover" who greeted me was so friendly and welcoming, I decided to stay. He asked what services I would need and got me seated for a mani-pedi within 5 minutes. My pedi nail tech was super nice and for some reason switched to doing my fingernails while someone else came in to finish my feet. Everything was going well until check out. The friendly neighborhood people mover asked about my experience and then asked to inspect my nails. He turned and said something to another nail tech and then next thing I knew, I was being ushered to another chair to "fix my nails". They didn't look bad to me. I just got a powder dip... nothing special. I was content and had no complaints. Apparently, I'm crazy because they were not letting me leave "like that". So, after 20 minutes, the head tech was happy. She assured me that they check ALL work to make sure customers leave happy and stay happy. They even have a 7 day guarantee. Wow!!! This is the best nail salon experience I've ever had. I will be here whenever I'm in Dallas. Side note: I watched them do BEAUTIFUL nail art of all kinds. When I get brave enough, I will try that out too!

Decided to take my niece here to get her nails painted for her 5th birthday. Upon walking in, there were 3-4 nail techs (going off my assumptions here) who weren't automatically "thrilled" with the low-commission $10-polish service & apparently did not want to take it so they volun-TOLD the nail tech named "mom/mama". I know there's a language barrier so there weren't many words exchanged however she was super nice. She sang happy birthday for my niece & she did an amazing job on her nails. My niece was cheesing the whole entire time. Since she wasn't hesitant about polishing my niece like the other techs, she did an amazing job & she was so sweet & gentle with my niece, I wanted to show her my appreciation and gratitude by tipping her $20. Now they didn't have changed for a $100, I ended up using my credit card & wasn't able to tip so me and mom/mama went next door to get changed. As we were walking back, she embraced me with a warm hug & happy tears!!! Her kindness towards myself & niece will forever be embedded in my heart! This was a moment I will forever remember for the rest of my life. I hope I will be able to visit mom/mama again. She's just so sweet!

I was in dire need of a pedicure and did some googling and came across Zuri. I pass by here almost weekly and never noticed it was a nail salon! I read through some reviews and went directly to their website to book an appointment. I am so glad I did because I had an amazing experience. And I don't say that lightly. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Sometimes you walk into a nail salon and feel unwelcome because everyone is so busy and focused on their work. But I truly felt welcome there. I selected "random" on the tech for the pedicure and hit the jackpot! Kayla is phenomenal. She made me feel comfortable with everything she did. She always asked if the water temperature was okay, if what she was doing felt good. And she was incredibly detailed clipping, filing, and polishing each toe nail. I'm not even kidding when I say this is the best basic pedicure and nail polish I've ever had. I love that she listened to me and understood that I don't like my toe nails cut too short or left too long. She got them to the perfect length and made sure to ask if I liked it. I would highly recommend her services! The salon is super clean, trendy, bright, and smells nice. You're offered drinks-non alcoholic & alcoholic beverages were available but I went with a cold water. If you're looking for a nail salon that welcomes new customers, focuses on cleanliness and catering to their customers this is the place for you. I will most definitely be back!

I personally do recommend scheduling appointments, but it is a salon where you can do walk-ins they have a ton of color to choose from in different designs and multiple nail text that are amazing and experts at nail designs. The vibes are always great, very friendly and they communicate very well as far as if you are liking the service and making sure that you approve their work before finishing it. Also, the salon is extremely clean.

I made an appt with US Pro Nails (eastchase) on May 10thto have the full set acrylic nails done…read morefor my bday vacation. I was very pleased with the nails and the nail tech named Theresa. She advised me to have a follow up soon so I returned on June 7th. She wasn't available so they gave me another nail tech ( found out later she was newly out of school) in which I don't have a problem with because I believe in getting hands on training. Just tell people. Geesh!! I showed her my previous nail job and shared how much I loved them, how I wanted the same exact thing on this visit. I also stated that I would like them a little shorter this time. She agreed and started working. Several times, I had to point out errors, like for example; not enough coverage on the sides. She started sharing with me that her solution may have been ( sabotaged) she also stated the solution wasn't mixing with powder therefore it wasn't flowing smoothly enough for her. So I asked her if she wanted to stop and maybe get another solution but she stated no,and continued as she mumbled to herself. After 3 hours she told me to go wash my hands and since I had done this before I knew the next step was for her to put on the final polish. I reviewed with her several things wrong and I asked her to smooth them more because it looked soooo bulky. She did, but it just looked like she could not correct her mistakes so I agreed to stop. Now as I went to wash my hands I passed by the tech named Theresa ( the first technician) and I asked her if it looked right. She looked and kinda gasps, she told me to ask the appointment scheduler to put me on her schedule. I never went back down for the other tech to finish. My nails looked horrible. I went to the scheduler to see when I could get in with Teresa but she was going to be busy for a while and I had already spent 3 hours there and I had another appointment somewhere else so I just asked for the next available slot. Which was Tuesday June 10th after I got off work. I went in Theresa was ready for me and I sat down to finally finish this. The guy named Scott ( the scheduler) came and told me that I would have to pay for a full set, at this point I was like ....sure. She had to remove the old acrylic ( I get that) and then start over. So again, I was ok with paying for the job. Theresa did an amazing job, reflecting, a very skilled professional job. When it was over I went to pay my bill and there lies the problem. On top of charging me for another initial set Scott charged me for the removal of the botched job as well. To me I feel that the business should have competed for the removal and at least a discount for having to start over with a full set instead of it being a follow up. For One, I don't wear nails due to my profession it's prohibited. This was originally for a special occasion and I only came back because Theresa impressed me and every time I looked at them I smiled. Scott proceeded to tell me that if I had wanted a specific technician for specific requests that I should have said something because the other tech had worked on me for three hours and didn't get paid because I didn't pay. But here's how I see it. It's a professional establishment. A Nail Spa,NOT a school. He should have let me know that the tech is in training and let me make a decision accordingly. I didn't know she was new and newly trained because I'm not a regular customer. I don't think it was my fault or responsibility to clarify that I needed a basic acrylic manicure. That was the expectation of my visit. And I didn't want to pay for that botched job because he was still going to charge me full price. What ever happened to great customer service? I'm not happy with the charges and the way he handled me as a new customer so needless to say I won't be returning. I'm hoping that we get some better qualified Nail Salons in the Eastchase area soon because I love a good Spa Day and great customer service. Thanks Yelp for this space to vent and warn others.
