After trying several nail salons in the largo/ Clearwater area I was lucky enough to stumble upon this one. The owner David is always kind, attentive, and greets guests with a genuine smile. The salon is clean and relaxing. The energy is really positive among the customers and the staff. The quality of the gel manicures and regular pedicures I receive is outstanding. I also get my lip waxed here and they do an excellent job. As an added bonus sometimes the owners' beyond adorable daughter is at the salon. I wanted a sparkly orange for Thanksgiving, and she started with a base coat of a similar shade of regular polish before adding 3 coats of the glitter polish on top. Was very excited to try this place as it had good reviews but was sorely disappointed. The first half of my appointment was perfectly fine, the woman doing my nails was good and agreed to follow my request to not use the drill on my nails (I asked at the very beginning of the appointment if she was able to do this and she was glad to). But after we decided on a color change because there was a language barrier miscommunication and she had to remove the color on 4 of my nails (I tried to stop her after 1 nail but she ignored me) her whole demeanor changed. She had a horrible attitude and was drilling my nails so hard I kept trying to pull my hands back. Then she tried to get somebody else to do my nails instead and said I had to wait for them to finish their current appointment. Since I didn't have the time to wait I ended up leaving with no color and still paid full price! Good enough place if you aren't particular about your nails and don't plan on giving any input or opinions. read more

Just spent 2 hours in this lovely salon getting a dip manicure and pedicure. I have sensitive feet and the technician was very careful and gentle. I didn't like the pale pink shade I had originally picked out and the tech chose a perfect pink overlay. Rose did my dip manicure and it looks fantastic. I got the lavender pedicure with gel nails added. The gentleman did a fantastic job and spent a long time on me. He was meticulous. Didn't talk a whole lot to me by that was ok. My nails looked perfect which was all that mattered! Then I came back a few days later and got my eyelash extensions. I was shocked at how inexpensive it was compared to California so that was an instant plus. The Manager was the one who did the job and he was great at information about what I was getting. I do wish I listened to him about what size to get as i feel they're a bit TOO dramatic. The only negative thing I have to say is that my left eye was flawless whereas my right eye I noticed wasn't as level across my lid and there was a bit of the black glue residue left on my eye which was difficult to get off when I got home. My sister and I were vacationing in this area for a long weekend. We each wanted a good Mani Pedi. I found this place on Yelp and we called and made the appointment about 2 hours before the appointment time on a busy Saturday. When we were running 15 mins late, we called to warn them. The guy who answers the phone was excellent and very supportive. Even though we were late, we were treated as well as if we'd been on time. My sister's technician was probably a little better than mine but both were very skilled and attentive. They treated us like royalty for our entire sessions, even knowing that we are travelers and not locals. The results were excellent. We were both will pleased with our sessions and the results. I have yet to witness this- the employees all look happy and eager to serve you with a friendly smile, and the man is very polite and sweet. Their quality is meticulous and gorgeous. They don't rush or dawdle. Every step is done carefully to ensure you walk out of there looking gorgeous. I used to go to Sunshine Nails on Belleair/Highland but I grew so tired of their snotty staff. The staff at Top Nail are MUCH nicer and friendlier. I highly recommend this place. Been here at least 4 times now, and I'm convinced that these guys truly deserve my business. And they don't push other services on you. Most salons are like, you need wax, you need pedicure etc... For the pedicure, they offer so many upgrades depending on what you want... I chose the $30 package which included hot stone treatment, hot towels, exfoliating, massage, and regular (non-gel) nailpolish. Gel would have added $20. I did, however, get a gel manicure, and that was $25 - amazing. Everything looked so perfect - not one error. Oh - and they gave me a bottle of water.
