Oscar doesn't deserve any stars, I went Saturday 6/20/26 to get my lashes done. I walk into the location I was greeted. I was asked if I would like anything to drink. I was told that Oscar Nail bar is under new management because I asked about Linda (old lash tech). I sat and waited for 20 minutes. I got my lashes done after my service was completed. I told the lash tech how I did not like how she put short ones in the front and then mediums. I expressed to the Lash Tech that I only wanted medium one length. She asked if I can come back on Sunday and she will fix them because I needed to leave and get to Rays baseball game. I went to the front to pay. The lash tech charged me $60. I asked why because it was normally 45. She gets new manager and the manager says we have new price signs and the new price is 60$. I advised her that no one told me that the price went up. I did not see a new price sign but instead of her saying oh I'm so sorry we do apologize moving forward It will be $60 but today since you weren't aware, it will be 45. That is good Customer Service that is making the customer feel like they are appreciated and they should continue to come to Oscar nail bar, but that's not how the new management made me feel the new management just basically wanted to take my money and not give me proper services. There's no reason I should pay $60 for a shitty job!!!! Not only was the new manager Unprofessional, she remembered me from the last time I was at Oscar nail bar she badmouth the old manager Linda and I told her that I was gonna give this place another chance because they had new people, but she is just as bad as the old manager. My fellow consumers that are reading reviews take my warning do not spend your money with Oscar nail bar because Oscar nail bar does not appreciate loyal customers. I paid over 120 dollars for a gel manicure and pedicure. The manicure started chipping within 2 days. Hairline cracks appeared on 2 nails below the white part of the nail. I thought i had possibly gotten an old bottle of polish or that it was applied too thick. When I called to schedule an appt to take it off and get a manicure with no polish I told them I expect at least part of this to be compensated as I have been going there 3 years and this manicure was not the quality I usually receive, so much so that i have to take time out of my day for an extra appt. This means i have to leave work, drive there and sit there for them to fix my nails that should have been done correctly in the first place. So the manager, Wah, reaches out via voicemail and says he would like to talk but wont be in this afternoon. I then get an email the next morning saying I didnt call him back and he wants to talk to me. I quickly responded to the email, pointing out he told me he wouldnt be in and provided times i was free that day and he called. This was the worst customer service call i have had in all 40 plus years of my life. Wah was extremely agressive and had to make a point to tell me that polish doesnt chip that way. I told him i have never had this happen to me before and this is why i was wanting it taken off - I was not asking for a free gel manicure, i simply wanted it taken off and then to clean up the nails that had ripped. He kept on about how the nails and polish cant chip the way I was saying, essentially calling me a liar. So I told him that I didnt think the conversation was going anywhere and it was clear he was not going to help (since all he was saying is that I was lying essentially). He finally said he would refund the card but I am no longer allowed to go there. For what? Calling out one bad manicure in 3 years of service? How ridiculous is that. I told him to keep his $35 dollars, I will never be returning. Unfortunately, who he really hurt with his overly aggressive male attitude was the best manicurist i had in a long time and routinely paid over $20 tip to (not the one who did my nails that particular day as my regular girl was not available). Loosing clients is never justified by having to prove you are right, Wah, especially over $35. Great job hurting your business and the people who work for you. STAY AWAY, AS SOON AS YOU HAVE AN ISSUE THEY COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOU AS A CLIENT.
