Love this salon. Always friendly and accommodating. We've been getting our mani/pedis there in a regular basis. I broke my wrist recently and the ER attendees commented on my pretty nails. read more

Cleanliness! The salon is so dirty and not sure instruments are even sterilized. Salon has hundreds! of bottles of polish stacked on walls covered with posters, etc.Stations are so dirty and nothing has been wiped up for months. Towels used are dirty and could use some bleaching and hot water. Bowl where you soak your hands is porous bamboo like material and not something that can be sterilized for each use. Nail stations are filthy and cluttered as we're all counter spaces. Dust from electric drills covers everything. Pedicure chair was not working and sat in uncomfortable position. Was happy that at least they had plastic liners for the foot tubs. Doubtful that instruments used are sterilized. Sorry to be so negative but even my attendant was unfriendly. It's probably the dirtiest salon I've ever seen. They need to clean up their act! Would not visit again.! read more

The pedicure was just ok, and reasonable. However, the employees talk way too much and loud between each other. Over the customer. The manager should talk with the girls and explains we go there for relaxation and not listen to them taking. Do the water cooler talk during break or quietly when customers are in the business. The tv and music were load and on the same time.? read more

So nothing annoys me more than having my nails and feet be done at the same time. YOU CANT SIR BACK AND RELAX. My back was all sore but then that's not the problem, I came in w stiletto nails praying they could do them and of course they act like they can give you Kim kardashian nails. Well they knew I was annoyed bc the nails just didn't look like when I came in. I do give the lady credit as she told me to tell her how to fix but the reality is that she messed them up from the gecko so fixing meant keep shortening them . Idk how she didn't notice she made all my nails go to my right, her left. It's annoying that they never actually fix the issue and don't give you a discount. Everything has gone up in price but quality seems to go lower in all nail shops! read more

This is a great nail salon! It's clean, relaxing, and I nearly fall asleep every time! they are very efficiency but kind. I honestly don't think I have ever gone to a place and felt so relaxed getting my nails done. They also have great prices $40 to get a basic mani and pedi - can't beat it! read more

I went yesterday because my original salon was closed. I had the SNS dip powder done .. I felt rushed and somehow I managed to barely find colors because of the bare minimum selection. Caitlyn did my nails and her technique was NOT dipping powder method, she used some type of chemical to brush on the dip powder. It was very messy, quick and thin.. when I asked her about her technique, she got very defensive and continued to make thin, uneven and the sides of my nails weren't done. She didn't used none of the powder steps at all.. she didn't shape my nails right the top coat was all over my cuticle and I asked her to fixed them she became more aggressive and making them more uneven and filed the thin layers of the sides without retouching them with powder.. I ABSOLUTELY HATE MY NAILS!! I told her I didn't like them and she got very sensitive.. she said she took of 10$ but my nails looked horrible and then when I said I pay for a particular service and she then got really loud with me which was extremely embarrassing; for her! I tipped her 20$ because I felt bad because of her pleading for a second chance and her playing the victim role by saying "I made her nervous". I wanted her literally to stop butchering my nails.. She needs to slow down, listen to her clients, learn to take criticism humbly and STOP doing that method!! read more

I've gone here for 15 plus years! Kaitlin is the owner. They take walk ins as well as appointments. I love the pedicures. Massage chairs. I get no 3. Which offers a paraffin hot wax for feet to lock in moisture. Hot stone massage on legs for sore muscles and circulation! Only $35.00. Very good nail techs. I have my favorite. But they all are great. Trish B. read more

My wife and I went here on our anniversary for a simple manicure and pedicure before going out. Felt very rushed and received the worst treatments I have ever experienced (though I haven't had as many as my wife). Never had been cut by the technician before and having my nails look so uneven. Live and learn is all I have to say. read more

My toe nail turned green and came off cause of them. If I could give a -5 I would. If you plan on going to a sunshine nails go to the one on walsingham!!! Lets starts by saying I get my toes done OFTEN. My usual places were closed so I came here. The women did a shit job on my french tip but I sucked it up cause I needed them done. A week later I noticed my nail turning green and a day later it started lifting and came completely off... Concerned, I obviously went to the shop and showed the manager and kindly asked for a refund (for obvious reason). She argued with me about how it's my fault and I'm not getting my money back. She did tell me she could re do them but idk what you could re do to a lifting nail... I just wanted my money back and they refused completely. I would never recommend this place. I was told by a couple people not to go here and they were right. They obviously are dirty and don't properly sterilize their utensils. read more

Great place! We love it, so close to us. Very clean and good prices. Friendly staff. We'll be back!

I loooove this place. Caitlin and all the girls are amazing. They are very respectful of your time. If you are in a hurry they can do hands and feet at the same time. Or you can fully relax and get separate. They do waxing and eyelashes. Best prices I have ever seen. I've been coming exclusively here the past 8 years. They are sanitary and safe. Always wear a mask and have plexi glass at nail stations. The honey and milk pedi is incredible! read more

Staff very friendly, however, quality of services and cleanliness of facility leave much to be desired.

This place is literally a joke you will never walk out with what you want and you will try to be convinced to get something else even when you say no 3 times. It's always a different price going in so you have to check that before you even sit down. The owner will take every walk in even when she doesn't have enough staff... which results in them rushing you out. I have come here a few times because of convenience in how close it is to me but today was my final straw. Don't waste ur time and money. read more

Sunshine nails is a great nail place it also does facials, waxing and eye lashing. But the best part of going to Sunshine nails is Caitlyn and her staff. It's open, welcoming and always make and find appointments for anytime you would like. Very accommodating. It's clean and spacious. Been going there for five years. Being happy with what you had done is Caitlyns first priority. Snacks included. I would recommend Sunshine Nails to anyone read more

If i could give zero stars I would. It's my moms birthday and unfortunately this is how her birthday pedicure turned out. It looks like a child painted her toenails. Her manicurist didn't even get rid of the filing dust before she began painting. The picture honestly speaks for itself. As for me, I don't use nail polish yet they charged me the same price as my moms full pedicure. My manicurist used the cuticle clippers to cut my toenails and finished without filing or smoothing them out. I had to ask for them to be filed and she acted as if she didn't know what I was talking about. I had to direct her to file each individual toe nail. I cant even say "you get what you pay for" because this salon charges full price, but they do not provide the full quality expected. read more

Worst nail salon I have ever been to. I came in asking for dip on my natural nails. I originally had a acrylic on my natural nails she did not remove the acrylic fully only filed it down and then applied the dip over my acrylic. My nails were extremely thick and I then told her to file them down more because it didn't look natural what so ever. She still didn't file them down enough and I told her they look awful so she passed me on to someone else. My nails are different lengths on both of my hands. I don't recommend this place at all she still charged me $40 I shouldn't have paid it at all. The place was dirty and I didn't feel relaxed just stressed and pissed off that my nails look terrible. I've never made a review but this was necessary complete waste of my money. read more

When we got here the owner was sitting down on the floor with her legs wide open flashing her panties to everyone who drives by. Then as we walked in to the nail salon, the owner pushed me into the shop and kept yelling to go down to one of the employees.I kept telling all the employees that I wanted to schedule for Thursday, and that I only had a question about pricing but nobody was listening until one of them finally gave me a price and then we walked out. As we walked out the owner ran into our faces and kept pushing us to get our nails done and kept yelling that she would give us better prices and that she would match prices with other people and we could pay anything we wanted. The problem was when she went to go get a sticky note she kept putting her hands on me and she pushed me really hard. Not once did she apologize. The shop was empty, and there was only one person getting her nails done. We felt uncomfortable the whole time waiting for prices and the shop smelt horrible. Btw they wanted to charge me 90$ for French tips with a flower sticker. Because of the rudeness and the smell, I'll take my money elsewhere! read more

Horrible.. It took everything in me not to laugh with how bad my service was. She legit flung my dead skin from the bottom of my feet into the footpath my feet were still in.. other stations were dirty and not clean. The tools looked dirty in my option. Did not feel good at all. read more

Having such a busy schedule and finding time to relax is not always easy. Katelyn is such a wonderful woman who takes appointments allowing you to come and relax. The ladies working here are quiet at first but as you open up they open up. They are funny and kind. Every person here wants you to enjoy your time here! My nails are constantly complimented and people ask where I go. This is the place for great nails and company! Also, if you don't feel like talking that day, no stress to close your eyes and relax!!! I'm so happy I discovered this place since its so close to home and dare I say it, the best salon in the area! It's no wonder they're always so busy - their service is top notch and their prices are unbeatable. I can't afford to go as often as Id like, but I frequent this place when I can and they do such a great job. Usually I get the gel manicure since I want long lasting nails and I'm scared of acrylic. I've tried SNS once before at another location but the nail tech scared me off because the powder was way too thick! For my wedding day, I showed a picture of a white to pink ombre look to break away from the traditional French manicure. Vivian said she could do it using the sns powder and I expressed my concern. The last thing I wanted was big bubble nails on my big day. She talked me into it saying she'll make it thinner so they looked more natural... I trusted her and let her do her thing... They turned out amazing and looked even better than the picture!! She even added some bling - three vertical jewels- to my ring fingers. Nothin like feeling like a fabulous bride stepping out of the shop! I'm glad I gave SNS another chance and think I'm going to switch to this as my go to service! read more

Fantastic service!!!! Love Kaitlyn and her staff! They take care of pampering their customers. Great prices too! Highly recommend!

Walking in to the salon this morning I thought I was in the wrong place... over 4th of July weekend the salon was completely updated. Everything was new, new new! Shiny, colorful bottles of Opi nail polish were displayed in a beautiful shelf like a work of abstract art. New beautiful massage chairs beckoned to me to sink into their glorious leather softness.. new nail stations with comfortable chairs lined the right side with a large flat screen TV above. Beautiful wood plank floors inviting you to stroll deeper into the salon to be pampered. The service at this salon has always been excellent, the interior update makes this salon a 5 star in my book! Lookingforward to my next visit soon! read more

New customer here. Found Caitlyn on living social. Did microblading. I was scared since I have very light sparse eyebrows, looking non existent. Caitlyn took such good care of me and it was a collaborative effort to make my eyebrows AMAZING! I did eyelash extensions while I was there because she made me feel so good about myself. So I came in without eyebrows or eyelashes since I'm so fair, and came out feeling glamorous in the best way. I will be back and will be sending others here for Caitlyn's artistry. Thank you! read more

I may be a guy walking into to get a mani - and carry a purse - but doesn't mean I'm looking to have my nails done trashy. Clearly walking in my nails were polished with barely there color and when I was asked what color I want, I said something similar - barely there pink. The condescending women next to my stylist gives her this hot pink with sparkles in it. Really? Could you guys be any less professional. Couldn't WAIT for my visit to be over. Told her to skip the polish I just wanted to leave. She did a horrible job filing my nails, completely uneven. I came in square nails - left with unmatched rounded ones. Horrible salon, horrible job, horrible customer service. read more

I came to Florida from Hawaii to visit family and was looking for an inexpensive house lace for nails/ microblading/ eyelash extensions (since everything in Hawaii is so expensive). My family lives in Ellenton/ Palmetto and I initially went to a local salon to get my nails done they took FOREVER and cost Hawaii prices. I then searched Groupon/ google and found Sunshine nails! They were running a special. Caitlyn stay d late to get me in for microblading and i had a super inexpensive manicure while i waited ($16 for gel!!!) Eyebrows were amazing! I came back a few days later with my daughter and i got her manicure/ pedicure and my eyelash extensions all for $100!!!! Flash forward to today (3 weeks later) and she got me, my sister, daughter and son in last minute. We drove an hour to come back because the staff here is so kind and professional and not to mention the price is the cheapest I have EVER SEEN!!!! read more

I have been there 3 times now and each time they quote a different price...I was made to feel "cheap' when I questioned it..this last time ..I think it was the manager...she rushed through it all..caught my finger with the electric file...cut my nails really short..did flat top when I asked for round..tried to talk me out of nail polish..just powder color..and left me feeling very unsatisfied. There is a sign in the window saying 20% off so they dont take your coupon...I will be looking for another nail salin in future. read more
