I would not recommend this nail salon to any of my friends or strangers on the street simply because I have given this place, not one not two, but multiple chances this review is regarding new management. Oscar doesn't deserve any stars, I went Saturday 6/20/26 to get my lashes done. I walk into the location I was greeted. I was asked if I would like anything to drink. I was told that Oscar Nail bar is under new management because I asked about Linda (old lash tech). I sat and waited for 20 minutes. I got my lashes done after my service was completed. I told the lash tech how I did not like how she put short ones in the front and then mediums. I expressed to the Lash Tech that I only wanted medium one length. She asked if I can come back on Sunday and she will fix them because I needed to leave and get to Rays baseball game. I went to the front to pay. The lash tech charged me $60. I asked why because it was normally 45. She gets new manager and the manager says we have new price signs and the new price is 60$. I advised her that no one told me that the price went up. I did not see a new price sign but instead of her saying oh I'm so sorry we do apologize moving forward It will be $60 but today since you weren't aware, it will be 45. That is good Customer Service that is making the customer feel like they are appreciated and they should continue to come to Oscar nail bar, but that's not how the new management made me feel the new management just basically wanted to take my money and not give me proper services. There's no reason I should pay $60 for a shitty job!!!! Not only was the new manager Unprofessional, she remembered me from the last time I was at Oscar nail bar she badmouth the old manager Linda and I told her that I was gonna give this place another chance because they had new people, but she is just as bad as the old manager. My fellow consumers that are reading reviews take my warning do not spend your money with Oscar nail bar because Oscar nail bar does not appreciate loyal customers. Services Eyelash extensions Requested style I asked for all medium one length! read more

$20 extra for gel on toes is ridiculous. The basic pedi is 30$ so the type of color is almost the same as the service ????? Never come here unless I need toes done and regular place is full. Toes barely get color for it to cost so much more for LIGHT!!!! I've gotten my nails done here and didn't come back but for Toes they are good enough read more

I discovered this place on yelp. Oscar Nailbar came through for me around Christmas time in the late afternoon when I needed to get an appointment for a dip. They can do just about anything that you need done here as far as nails are concerned. They also, have someone that does massage and some other services. Amy did my nails and she did a fantastic job. She mixed the powder with glitter to just exactly what I had asked for. She is a perfectionist. I can tell and that's what I am looking for in a nail lady. I will definitely be back next time. DO NOT GO HERE! They will rip you off I went in for a polish change on my toes regular polish and a fill in on my nails I asked how much is the fill was told $25 and $15 for polish change on my toe nails when she rung me up it came to $60 I said I thought you said $40 for what I got she told me oh you asked for nail reshape mind you I went in with almond nails and left with almond nails how was that a nail reshape? I did ask to cut them down but we all know that doesn't cost $20 I got ripped off for $15 extra dollars and I don't appreciate it you lost a customer stay away from here if you don't wanna be ripped off too!!!! read more

This place is my jam. I literally will go out of my way living in Dunedin to get my manis and pedis here. Nothing fancy but the service I receive is always top-notch. I've never had my nails lift and my pedicure always stays intact quite a while. I started off with four stars but see no reason not to give it five. The design on my SNS dip is almost identical to the picture that I showed. I do recommend this spot. read more

Disappointing Experience at Oscar Nails - Would Not Recommend I recently visited Oscar Nails and had one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a nail salon. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place due to the poor service, lack of attention to detail, and unprofessional behavior from the staff. To start, my pedicure was completely uneven--some nails were left long while others were cut too short, and they weren't properly filed. When the manager attempted to help me put my sandals on, he was extremely rough and impatient, to the point that I had to ask my mom to help me instead. Being 8 1/2 months pregnant, I cannot easily bend, and his handling was completely inappropriate. The manicure was just as bad, if not worse. When I placed my phone on the table at his station, he started touching my screen and trying to go through my phone, which was incredibly unprofessional and invasive. When he began filing my nails, he did so at an angle, causing them to look completely uneven. When I pointed this out, he blamed my natural nails instead of taking responsibility. Even after asking him to fix them, he proceeded to over-file them, ruining the original shape and making them extremely thin and short--nothing like what I had asked for. At that point, I had to tell him to stop. To make matters worse, he still charged me for the service, despite my obvious dissatisfaction with the result. I also paid for my mom's nails, which turned out better, but she still had issues. She mentioned that he cut them much shorter than she wanted and was constantly zoning out, forcing her to tap him to get him to focus. The next day, the gel polish on my nails had already started peeling and cracking, and some nails had an uneven finish. I paid $130 for this terrible experience, which is beyond frustrating. I'm not sure if this salon is under new management or if they have new staff, but this was by far the most unpleasant nail salon experience I've had. The lack of professionalism, poor-quality work, and dismissive attitude of the staff make it clear that this is not a place I would return to. If you're looking for consistent quality, good service, and a relaxing experience, I would highly recommend going elsewhere. This review clearly details the issues while keeping it professional and structured. If you're posting it online, you might want to include photos of your nails (if you took any) to further validate your experience. Let me know if you'd like any adjustments! read more

Myself and two girlfriends came here to get our nails done one evening. We were walk-ins however we did not wait as we were taken right away for our nail services. Oscar Nailbar is located right next to Natures Food Path and shares the plaza parking lot with them so parking is not an issue. I found the nailbar to be clean and orderly. The nail techs were appropriately outfitted with masks and gloves (COVID times). The nailbar itself had an array of those and colors of nail polish and many services to choose from. I decided to get a gel nail manicure. I was impressed the gel powder they use was made locally in Florida (around Orlando if I remember correctly). It was unlike the powder gel I had in years past (yes I have not gotten my nails done in years) which employed UV light. I preferred this process much better. My nail tech was highly skilled and efficient. Over five weeks have gone by and my nails still look great! Its pretty tough to find a nail salon where you feel comfortable and that you are getting a quality experience. This is it Thanks so much, Oscar Nailbar. I will return! read more

Oscar Nail Bar - My gel manicure over five weeks later still looks good (don't mind the new nail growth) - Nail Salons Near Me - Clearwater, Florida

Ami is the best! I've been going to her for months now and it's always fun to watch a true artist at work. She does a beautiful dip manicure in an hour and is always willing to try any ideas or designs I have in mind. My favorite though is to ask her what she'd like to do. This trip it was a sparkle ombré which I'm loving for Spring. Her husband Andy is amazing at gel manicures and pedicures too so he's my go-to when I want a break from the dip. read more

Great space right next to natures food patch. Love to come on a Sunday morning then go next door for groceries.

Absolutely WONDERFUL place! I went here for the first time today for a pedicure and I was blown away. You know how most places, getting a "foot massage" is nothing but them kinda rubbing your feet? Well not here! I got a legit foot massage not once, but TWICE and they there the firm strong kind! I was in heaven! It also came with a hot stone massage, exfoliating scrub and 2 different types on lotion, all for only $36! I'm coming here every time for now on! They got a repeat customer for sure! read more

If I could give this salon 6 out of 5 stars - I would. My husband and I are on vacation and I decided to get my nails redone. My husband has never had a pedicure before, but I dragged him along with to finally experience one. The girl who did my pedicure (sorry I didn't catch their names) was so sweet and helped answer my many questions on some trends I was interested in. She gave me the best pedicure I have ever tried! I am so glad I came here because she also gave me some great tips on beaches nearby. I got a dip with tip set in ombré and the other lady who did my nails executed then perfectly. She also was so so kind and sweet and gave us some tips for places to check out to eat and visit! I highly recommend them weather you're on vacation or need a local salon! read more

Came into Oscar nailbar salon for the first time with a 3+ week old gel set right away I was greeted and sat down. Richard was my nail tech and he was the most sweet, caring gentle male nail tech I have ever met at a nail salon, he started to work on my nails I let him know that I had 4 nails that needed to be repaired. I was asked if I wanted something to drink and I was given a bottle of water as per my request. Richard took his time to make sure all my nails look perfect and I was very appreciative of it, I did the CND Gel which I've done before and never had any sort of lifting unlike other brands and they look amazing, Thank You so much Richard for taking your time read more

Not a great experience. Started with a pedicure and it was going well. I decided to have a dipping manicure also. I was led to a manicure table and my nails were cut much shorter than I like. Then the different layers were put on. Several nails were uneven and when the tech was filing she filed my skin on two fingers making them bleed. The tech wanted to end with UV light. I have NEVER had UV light for a dipping manicure. I asked to speak to manager. The manager made an excuse about my nail being higher than my finger that's why the tech filed into my skin. As I was leaving I looked at the pedicure and it was uneven on several toes. A nail place has one job....doing nails. This was a failure. read more

Today I went with my sister at about 12 -- It was very busy but to be fair it's a Saturday. A lady cut us in line so we ended up waiting longer but it was partially my fault for not speaking up. They need a better system for clients that are waiting. Additionally, the prices on their website are not the prices in store. My sister & I's nails were both $65 BUT we got a $5 discount because we waited for so long. My overall impression of this place is good! It's clean, the quality is great, and the service was good. My sister & I's nails were a bit pricey but we got a discount which was nice. Our nails are beautiful! My sister's were exactly like the reference photo. Mine were similar (I specifically said I didn't want mine to look like the reference photo). The lady doing my nails paid great attention to detail. I would recommend this place especially if you want your nails done for a wedding, prom, graduation, etc. HIGHLY RECOMMEND MAKING AN APPOINTMENT!!!! Pros: - Got a $5 discount - Great quality nails - The nail techs do a phenomenal job at doing nails the way you want them to be done - Clean place - Complementary drinks Cons: - Long wait & no order to who's in line - Small waiting area read more

I went there today with my Mom to get our mani and pedi for Mother's day. The lady took 1 1/2 to do my manicure. The nail polish went pass my cuticles both left and right of my fingernails. The lady also hit my cuticle pretty bad with her gel remover accessory. An hour later, I calmly asked for the manager and showed her what happened. When she looked at it, she said that there's nothing wrong with it and even started fixing my cuticles. All of a sudden, my middle finger started bleeding. She said it took 2 hours to get my nails done. I asked her if she can do something and the manager started yelling at me in front of everyone in the salon saying that "I'm sorry but it took you 2 hours to get this done! We are humans too you know!" At that point, I walked away. I have never had this kind of customer service ever in my life. I do not recommend this place at all. The manners and professionalism are completely off the rails. read more

Recently took my 12 year old "princess" (aka daughter). She got a pedi/mani while being spoiled rotten. I got a "Dad you are Amazing" hug, so everyone wins. The first time I went here the owner did my nails and she did amazing! I got French tip with design and jewels. Was $50 without tip which I thought was reasonable. I'm very upset with the service I got today. I got a fill with chrome polish, they didn't tell me a sinple powder finish was an additional $15 and I didn't even get a design. Plus I broke a nail off last week so I only had nine nails for them to do and was still charged full price. I also got a pedicure and the lady who did it didn't even cut my toenails or massage my legs longer then five minutes. They charged me $90 for a service I thought was going to be substantially less and when I approached them about the price they all just stared at me as I was panicking about how much this will set me back. Not happy at all and I never leave reviews I'm just shocked. read more
