Upon entry we were greated with strawberry water (better than I describe) and another hot drink that was also pretty good. Amazing place to get a massage. My husband and I were doing a staycation in Clearwater Beach. Weirdly there are a lot of spas at the beach, but none of them had online booking. I also couldn't find many (any?) that did couples massages. I was pretty late booking, so we ended up not doing a couples massage here, but they did have online booking, which makes it so easy. I was less than a week out so there weren't two massages that I could schedule at the same time, but they did have massages that were thirty minutes apart. That worked for me. It was really easy to use their website. They have a table with seating in their front area and couches in a further back seating area. When I finished my massage and waited for my husband I sat in the back seating area, which was really comfortable. I think most people wait in the front though. They have a cute boutique in the front that you can browse while you wait. My massage was amazing. She went the full amount of time and it was everything I wanted. My husband also said his massage was fantastic and that the masseuse called out places where he was tense and where pain was probably coming from. Overall, we both had very relaxing experiences. They serve tea and strawberry water, which was nice. Parking was also super simple, they had a ton around the building. If I'm in the area, I will absolutely come back. read more

The cutest, most relaxing, super super sweet employees, day spa I've ever been to! I was looking to get a wax service done so I looked up day spas in the Clearwater area and came across Botanica. I soon booked a service and I have never gotten this service before so I was anxious but when it was time for my appt, the aesthetician made me feel super comfortable and not awkward and results were amazing! I'm shocked that I haven't written a review for Botanica Day spa yet, I love it here! My husband introduced me to it when he got me a gift card, and now he's created a monster jk lol. It's super easy to book an appointment online, and the spa is very laid back. I've gotten nice pedicures, manicures, massages, and eyebrow waxes here. Everyone is always so warm and welcoming, and just good vibes all around. Sure it's probably a bit pricier than some mani/pedi places in the area, but they change out the water in a big tub each time, and I appreciate that cleanliness. Plus the spa always smells amazing, and they always offer fruit infused water and herbal tea. I also like that it's open pretty early, so you can start your day on a positive note. read more

I'm from NY...I'm skeptical, we'll traveled & incredibly disconcerting. I walked into this spa with no expectations. I had a tweaked shoulder due to rescuing a 100lb dog that dragged me leaving my right shoulder in medium/ moderate, constant pain and low range of motion (thought it was a sprain). I happened to be lucky enough to book William. I don't know what he did - but when he was working underneath my shoulder-I was confused as no therapist ever worked deep under my shoulder and almost into my armpit... Fast forward about 5 hours later- I have free range of motion- zero pain & am incredibly grateful for having this knowledgeable pro today. I booked an 80 minute Therapeutic massage & my only regret is not getting an earlier appt. If you have any body ache whatsoever, William is your guy! Incredibly grateful!! Edit to add: Since posting this review the owner, Gen reached out to me and asked if I would come in for a conditioning treatment on my lashes. I had no time to do so so I asked if they'd just refund me for the service and she happily obliged. She was very kind and concerned as to why my experience went the way it went which was appreciated. I would not recommend getting a lash lift here. The first gal that did them handed me the mirror after completing the service and I swear to you they looked no different than they had when I walked in. I've gotten lash lifts before and normally they look incredible as I have very long lashes. This genuinely looked like nothing had been done. I asked her is this normally the result she gives her clients and she said "it just depends" & that my lashes were very difficult... none of the other people who have lifted my lashes have ever said this to me. I told her I was truly disappointed in the result as I'm still going to have to curl them for my upcoming trip with them looking like this and so she said "well let me see if we can process them again I'm just not sure if we can." So she comes back and says we can reprocess them but it could fry my lashes off... I was obviously hesitant but she kept saying they just have to do it for half the time and that it's okay there's just a slight risk of over-processing. She's obviously the professional so I listened to her and decided to move forward with the re-processing because I trusted they would correct the issue safely. She had an appointment right after me so she handed me off to someone else to do the second lift process. This gal does the 2nd lift and upon handing me the mirror tells me there's residual glue stuck to my lid and the base of my lash which I saw the glue on my lid and asked if she could remove it with a qtip and some water and she tried her best I guess but couldn't get it all. I thought when she said there was still some glue towards the base of my lash that she meant on the skin. No. I got home and looked in the mirror up close and the entire base of my lashes are glued together. They feel so crispy that if I were to bend them they'd snap. The result from the second process definitely lifted them more but no where near what I'm used to seeing from a lash lift. I understand the first girl was nervous about over processing my lashes but come on. I'd expect to see some type of result. When I told the first girl that it didn't look like they were lifted at all she said "they look very natural" and she wasn't wrong. They looked EXACTLY how they did prior to getting the $100+ service. The second girl tried her best with the circumstances but I'm not understanding why my lashes were left glued together. Overall a very strange experience and feels like there is a lack of confidence and education in regards to the lash lifting service. read more

Oh my gosh this place is amazing. I was part of a bachelorette party that came here for a spa day and it was absolutely perfect. We had 7 in our party and the spa accommodated us no problem. They had a cute little room for us to sit and snack and sip while we each waited for our appointment. Most got massages, but I opted for the Boanica signature pedicure. My tech was amazing. The right amount of chit chat. Always asking if things were too hot/rough/etc. She refilled my champagne and brought me tea towards the end. It was pure bliss. The whole staff there were welcoming and the entire atmosphere was relaxing. We were so relaxed we had to go get coffee afterwards so we would have the energy to keep celebrating. read more

I love this Day Spa! I have been coming here for massages for almost 3 years. I love the ambience, the infused water, the cute little shop by reception, the decor, the customer service, just about everything. I always receive such a warm welcome and have never had a bad massage here. I don't do the deep tissue only the light pressure however I do get them to help with pain in my neck and the headaches I get. Both Heather and Bella are very good at understanding the body and how to get tension to release without having to go deep which is a technique that's hard to find therapists who understand. I absolutely love Botanica and recommend to everybody. They are on the more pricey side and for that I do have one suggestion that could maybe add to the upscale price and feel. A glass of wine upon arrival and maybe robes and slippers for everybody? This was something a spa did where I moved from and it really added to the experience. The locker area already exists for this and the area by the reception isn't very suitable for waiting anyway so this new process would usher everybody to the comfortable zen couches that quite honestly I never noticed or used until I used the sauna one day. read more
