Just got a 60 min relaxation massage with John, and he was fantastic! I don't get massages very often, but I was so stiff I knew I needed one badly. I was able to schedule the day of, which was highly convenient. They also have a new customer deal which gives you ten dollars off, and even then the massages are very affordable and high quality. I've been getting them for nearly 20 years for back and neck issues (including authentic Thai from a Thai therapist), but when I moved to Largo I could not find a good therapist with hours I could access (cant' go week days when I am working). Then I found the Spa. Had my first session with John who does amazing foot work reflexology, and gave a wonderful 90 minute massage. Understand, I have not been in 2.5 years and my back hip and neck shoulders were like concrete. It hurt sure, but that was the release, after that the rest of the body loosened up and I was floating when I left. I am a "Senior Citizen" who had limited massage experience and was unfamiliar with how beneficial they are to one's well being. The deep muscle massage is not always relaxing due to the need to work through the tension and tightness of certain muscle groups. His ability to identify and massage away my trouble spots is amazing. His past experience with physical therapy may explain why he is so knowledgeable about the body in general. Allow me to start off this review update with a bit of understanding: mistakes happen. It is how one remedies these mistakes that truly matters in the end. I was contacted by the owner of this establishment with tremendous remorse and profuse apology. The ball was dropped, and the Massage & Wellness center took complete and total responsibility. They listened to my concerns, and didn't make excuses for the actions that led me to my first review - instead; they were genuine in their apology, and vowed to make right of their wrong. And that they did. I arrived at 11:15AM for my rescheduled appointment with none other than the owner himself; Thomas. Thomas was incredibly warm and approachable; starting off my in-person experience brightly. He was highly attentive to any needs I may have regarding my focus points, and was tremendously knowledgeable in all aspects of his field - always finding a way to thoroughly explain my issues, and what he was able to do to correct them. Now let's get to the important part: the massage. The fact that I took this review from one stars to five should say everything. I feel physically better from one session than I have in months. I have been going faithfully to Massage and Wellness for over four years, and cannot say enough about the quality of massage that Mark offers. Over the summer I moved out of Pinellas County, and I have missed going there monthly. I love my massage from Mark so much that I now travel over 2.5 hours there just to see him. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis a few years ago and was in extreme pain and walking with a noticeable limp. I had tried shots in my heel, a podiatrist, and as a last resort was going to try surgery. Mark suggested stretching my plantar in six-eight sessions with deep tissue massage. It was honestly one of the most painful things I have every done, but he COMPLETELY fixed my problem with NO surgery. Now...on rare occasions when I have a flare, he stretches the muscle briefly and I am good to go. Massage and Wellness is extremely relaxing, and I look forward to each and every visit. read more

My friend said she didn't get that done do maybe for it There was a bluish residue left on our fsce from a creme applied Idk what it was The one thing I would critique was the lack of towels robes flip flops we had to use the restroom when they had nothing that we could use to apply self up besides the sheets in the blankets that were on the massage tables themselves even if they had the small wraps that they use something needs to be available for the customers to wrap themselves or robes if they can just keep two or one per room and just keep them laundry and seem like a basic amenity to have available either But for the price 2 services for a little bit over $100 we just grinned and beared it but the massage was excellent read more

Best massage treatment I've ever had! I see Thomas every 3 weeks for stress reduction and deep tissue, and have been a client since Oct 2017. I've never felt better. I used to suffer from sciatica and chronic muscle cramps. After my second treatment, the symptoms completely went away. His experience in sports therapy, chiropractic therapy and eastern massage treatments are extensive, and is proven in his work and care for his clients.
