I came in for a post-op lymphatic massage and unfortunately did not have a good experience. I asked several questions during the session that weren't clearly answered, which made me feel unsure about the level of expertise. The massage itself felt very basic, something I could have done at home, and I didn't notice any difference afterward. For a service marketed as "expert" post-op lymphatic care, I expected more guidance, technique, and results. I can't speak to their regular massages, but I would not recommend this location specifically for post-op lymphatic work. read more

It was a perfect excuse to breakaway for an hour and have some relaxing, quality "me" time. I really liked my therapist Roselee. Thought she did an amazing job! We had a short consultation in the beginning touching base on the parts of my body that were pain points. As a first time visitor, she made me feel comfortable and was very down to earth. She really focused on those areas during the session and I left the room feeling very relaxed. I booked a "couples" massage for my sister and I as a Christmas gift to ourselves. We had the best time and Andrea and Adam both did a lovely job. I booked an online appointment and then called a couple days in advance just to confirm. They recommended arriving 15 min in advance, which we did. Note that for evening appointments the door may be locked if you arrive much earlier than that, but that wasn't an issue for us. We're first time massage people so don't have a lot to compare to, but the massage team were very helpful at explaining the process, getting our feedback on intensity and style, and in general creating an incredibly relaxing and comfortable environment. At the end of our massages we both felt like we could have fallen asleep right on the massage table! I've just completed a bicycle ride from Saint Augustine, Florida to Bogalusa, Louisiana. About 10 days into the bike ride, began having stabbing pains in the lower left portion of my back. The pain would take my breath away; it could drop me to my knees. I didn't have pain when I was peddling, only when making camp and/or going to bed. It drove me crazy. I wondered it it was a ruptured disk, kidney infection, cancer...on and on it went. When the trip was done, I called Reflections and made a message appointment. I was very fortunate to get Willie. Willie thought the problem was a sciatic nerve. He went to work on the problem. An hour later was the difference of night and day. I kept waiting for my back to catch - the stabbing pain to return. Did not have a good experience. Was not going to write a review at all however, since this visit I have experienced throbbing pain in my lats, shoulder and neck and numbness from my shoulder down to my wrist. Had to go to a chiropractor and she did manual manipulation on me for over an hour to get things sorted out. Have been icing my shoulder ever since. The massage therapist supposedly had 26 years experience but, was offended when I told her about a shoulder injury (dislocated several times/frozen shoulder) I'd had in the past. Her words "I have 26 years experience, I know what I'm doing" Note: when I offered to fill out an "intake form" when I arrived she said it wasn't necessary (I'd been there before but, my intake form had disappeared) read more
