Great nail bar! I find this spot to be very consistent no matter who my tech is. Been here 3x and loved my nails each time. They offer a plethora of colors- unless I'm going to Miami over summer, I usually stick to the neutral colors so they grow out more natural. They have a nice selection overall... I typically ask for some added glitter to my ring finger and they do not overcharge me like other places do. I find their gel manicure pricing very reasonable. The ladies here are so sweet and professional. They do a great job cleaning and filing my nails down to the shape I want. This can often be overlooked and done too fast or poorly at other places. Make sure you call ahead of time to schedule an appointment - they book up very fast, especially during the holidays. I'd also say they these ladies are a bit gentler than where we've gone previously, and they don't seem to waste much time talking to each other in Vietnamese in front of their customers. That to me is classy and respectful. They also tease me about what color I want for my feet as well as why I'm so ticklish. It makes the Queen Bee laugh too, helping us all feel at ease and relaxed. I came here for the first time a few weeks ago when my usual nail tech at a different salon was busy and i desperately needed a mani/pedi gel fill. This shop was really clean on the inside and is way bigger than it looks from the outside. I only waited for about 10 minutes before being seated for my gel mani/pedi and I think i was out in less than 90 minutes! Not only were they extremely efficient in taking care of what I needed (I had two people working on nails and toes at the same time!), they were gentle and kind making me feel super comfortable. They asked questions to make sure i was getting the shape/style I wanted and were communicative of their next steps in the process. Sapphire Nail Bar has a huge color selection and I think my biggest issue was deciding which shade of pink was my favorite LOL. On top of their great service they offer complimentary wine and 20% off for new clients! They also have a policy for gel nails: ten day guarantee or they'll fix any chips/damage you get. I've never heard of that before but either way, my nails didn't chip!! They did a phenomenal job and I'm convinced they have all of the best techniques to guarantee the wear time of your gel nails. Very disappointed the second time here. One of their employees didn't come to work, so my scheduled person apologized and transferred me to another employee mid manicure so that she could treat the customer who arrived complaining she wanted the not present person ( what about MY appointment you started on?) The next manicurist was nice, but the total manicure and pedicure time with interruption was 45 minutes... my previous place, the standard manicure alone was 45 minutes. My nails looked good, but they totally skimped on everything. Then I went to get an eyebrow and lip wax. The worker ( Bebe?) took the old and used paper wrap on the table, FLIPPED it over, and had me lie on it while there was a full roll at the end of the table. She never asked me what shape I wanted... actually, it came out good BUT there were several hairs on both eyes and lip that she didn't remove that I needed to pluck when I got home. First thing that I look for is cleanliness, I give them 5 stars for this; they give you your own set of sanitized nail tools, they use the liners in the pedi bowls, the salon is super clean as well! I had the relaxing pedicure and manicure, the best pedicure I ever had! The massage went on forever! Bee was my technician and was very friendly and on top of managing the salon at the same time, I recently removed my dip nails because I wasn't happy with the place I was going to, Bee was very helpful in telling me why I wasn't getting the right results. The owner and staff is very pleasant. I did a polish change on my toes and a fill , it took 3 hours with a very basic design on just 2 nails . The polish change on the toe was the worst I've ever had .Several areas on my toes were missing polish and it was done very sloppy . One toe was shaped different from the other one . I was shocked when I got out to my car and looked at my fingernails after my manicure. They look like my five-year-old granddaughter did it. Uneven nail polish, grooves in the nail polish, missing polish on the nails, and ragged cuticles. When I got home I discovered my toes were the same way. My first time and last time there. DONT GO HERE. I went to get my acrylic nails done for the first time here on Sunday 1/19 and it seems they forgot about my appointment. Originally the technician was pleasant and then got increasingly annoyed. I've never had a bad experience getting my nails done elsewhere. So I've never had to point out things that are going wrong. The first thing was that I wanted my nails shorter and she refused because when she shapes them it'll be shorter and the shape (coffin) only looks good longer. Which isn't true because they have pictures on here with quite short nails. And then I noticed that some of the nails were lumpy on the sides and nicely asked if that was filed out. And I was told it had to be like that and they're not done. She became even more annoyed so I became scared to say I didn't want to say anything else. As she was filing it hurt and it was clear my cuticles were being cut. I didn't say anything to not upset her. I then said they were still too long... and she was upset but did it anyway. They're still too long but I couldn't say anything at this point. I saw that my nails had waves near the end due to nail polish being too heavy at the ends. I asked for one specific nail to be fixed because it was REALLY noticeable. She was annoyed and said it's the gels fault. She did fix it but it was still wavy as was the rest. I have pictures that were time stamped for about an hour after when I got to look at them and noticed all the issues. Wavy, cut cuticles, crooked nails. My real nail exposed on the sides, nail polish missing, and filed at the bottom which makes it look grown out. I called then and there. I asked them if they could just remove them. I wasn't expecting to get a refund but I did just want them gone. I was told "we will fix them until you're happy but if we remove them you won't get a refund" I took that as I would be getting a refund, but I was apparently wrong after my interactions that the policy is no refund. It's not like I wanted nails for free- I don't even want them. I was going to take them up on fixing it but they were not helpful when I tried to set it up. They even created an appointment without my knowledge...Those messages have been added. Once I saw that I called to say it's been too difficult to work this out. That's when I was still under the impression I'd be getting a refund. Once I learned I couldn't I said I don't care about getting a refund but I don't think I want them to try and fix it. My cuticles being cut doesn't make me trust it especially when the customer service was lacking. Originally they slapped cuticle oil on just to take a picture of my nails. So I was told that picture didn't show the cut cuticles (the blood is within the cuticle and shown in pictures when it's fresh and old) I eventually was hung up on when told I'd have to talk to the owner. I asked when the owner would be there and I got "I don't know" How would I talk to the owner if I don't know when they'd be there? "I don't know" "May I have the owners number to call them?" "No that's against policy" (that does make sense) "okay can you have them call me?" That question was evaded. I was yelled at once again that they didn't give refunds even though I already expressed I didn't care for one but this experience was not okay. It was an unpleasant phone call all around. They made it clear that they used their time and product, but that was wasted. I don't want them for free.. I don't want them AT ALL. I'm getting them removed ASAP elsewhere. I went here due to all the other good reviews on here so I'm shocked at my experience. Don't get acrylics here if you insist on going there. I left a review on their Facebook and their response was pretty appalling. Them claiming I wanted the service for free has no merit. If I wanted it for free I wouldn't have left a 20% non refundable tip. I would've complained more about the nails during the check out to avoid paying. I paid what I was supposed to and left. This is the ONLY bad experience at a nail salon I've ever had. It was absolutely shocking. I hadn't gotten my nails done in well over a year and wanted to try a place close to home. I will never deviate from the place I love if I choose to ever get my nails done again... I'm really sad I had to make TWO reviews. I never go through the trouble of leaving bad reviews. But, geez. You'll see in their response the things I have proof against. I'll add the pictures and you can decide if you'd like to go to this salon. Bebe, who does lash extensions does not understand the difference between classic and full lash set. Originally, she applied such heavy, thick lashes that it looked terrible. I am fair, blue-eyed, and older woman. The lashes were very heavy and dark and looked like eyelash strips you'd see on one of my high school students. I decided to buy my own lashes and go back to see if she wanted to fix. She wanted to charge another full set. So, I am out $120 Definitely looked very amatuer for $120!!!
