I've never been the type to return to nail salons, I'm usually let down by the quality, how long the nails last, or the price. But I found this place by chance, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment you walk in, the owner is incredibly friendly and always greeting you with a smile. The shop itself is clean, welcoming, and has a spacious waiting area, which is a big plus. Vanessa has been doing my nails ever since my first visit, and I can't recommend her enough! She's truly talented and consistent. I always leave loving my nails! I usually get Gel-X, and my nails last well over a month, which is rare! (Of course, taking care of your nails helps. I always wear gloves when washing dishes, etc.) The pricing is very fair for the quality of work, and while the salon might not look like much from the outside, it's genuinely one of the best nail spots I've ever been to. Be aware that they can steal your ring from your finger !!!! I was going to this nail salon for almost 2 years and i was happy overall with the service until this past Sunday when the person who did my nails stole the ring from my finger ( gold over silver with 2 rounded black onyx stones in a crossover band - it was not an expensive ring but it was very unique and i received a lot of compliments about this ring in the past) . So, after i had the nails done the manicurist massaged me with the hand lotion and he proceeded to remove the lotion with the hot towel. I was amazed on how he really insisted on each finger applying really a lot of pressure along each finger using the hot towel, but I didn't realize the trick at that moment. That was the time when he managed to remove the ring from my finger and i was not able to feel a thing . When i went to pay for the service i realized that the ring was not on my finger . We were looking around but of course was nothing to be found. Another detail that was unusual is that the rest of the personnel was very passive .., like nothing happened insisting to tell me that i left the ring at home even though i said several times that i do never remove my rings from my fingers. read more

Their nails came out pretty good, but I did ask for a pretty basic set. I had looked up their yelp profile prior to going so I expected it to be a little unprofessional but this was by far the worst experience I've had in a nail salon. Not only did the staff get into an argument with another customer because she took me first over a client that had an appointment and had been waiting there before I even got there. I moved out of the seat and let the appointment go first but they were very rude to her. They then messed up her set by painting it a different color than she asked for which while an easy fix they continued to argue with her. When it was actually my turn I heard the nail techs that were helping me making fun of the girl and her mother, which I thought was extremely rude. I would also make sure they aren't overcharging you, when I called prior to going in I was quoted $35 for a full gel set, the tech helping me told me $45, but when I got home and looked at my card statement they charged me $60. I'd only go here in an emergency, I'd recommend #1 nails in banning instead much more friendly and reasonable read more

This place is not what it used to be. Prices are higher, which is expected with our current inflation. I wouldn't mind if the quality was the same as it used to be. I got a gel mani and regular pedi. I've been growing my nails so asked that they just file for shape but not take length off. Now they're much shorter and uneven (some nails are a lot shorter than others), there was gel color left on my skin around my nails, and the color looks really bad in light (needed another coat). The pedi was the worst. The lady was very forceful with moving my feet and legs and didn't say much. I had to ask her to scrub my heels because she briefly went over my foot with the foot file, it didn't do anything. Even when I asked she didn't respond. Awkward silence. Polish was left around my toe nails and the paper used to separate my toes messed up my polish. Not to mention the paint job wasn't good at all. I felt uncomfortable by her being so rough and silent I just wanted to leave. Not the worth the price. I could've done a much better job at home and saved myself the money. read more

I went in yesterday for a gel manicure and pedicure while the salon was empty. However, once they started the manicure 3 other customers showed up and I noticed the lady began rushing through my manicure. She wouldn't even allow me to wait the full 60 seconds for the gel to dry under the lamp. She placed 5 coats total (3 of color) and I felt that was too many coats she proceeded to tell me she was fixing it. Well, yesterday night, after I got home I noticed my nail was extremely bumpy, and this morning one end of it is already chipped with a bubble. When I squeezed the bubble, fluid came out, indicating the layers underneath were clearly not dry. While in the salon I also overheard them telling a customer they couldn't do the ombré designs she wanted (clearly inexperienced). The staff was overall nice (although they did stare a lot), but they did terrible jobs. If I didn't live so far I would have gone back today and had them fix it. But the fact that they were the only salon in the area with availability should have been a clue. read more

I went in to originally get a pearl pedicure which is $60 mind you not including gel or color. The manager kept answering the phone while working on my feet she cut my big toe apologized, then continued to work on my feet within 2 min she slit the bottom of my pinkie toe. So I started coming to this nail shop a couple months ago. Although I did like the style of the nails my nails kept coming off. However that wasn't the last straw. I only had one day off, so I made a nail appointment for 1:30 p.m. . By the way, you already know if I'm writing this review I'm writing it because I am pissed.. Finally she spoke to someone in a foreign language and someone started on my nails. Then the nail person told me to sit in the chair so they could do my nails and my toes together. However that wasn't the case because the second person went in the back to go eat food. I told the owner, also the person that scheduled the appointment that I had to leave at 3:15p for a dentist appointment and I only had one day off. She said she understood and the person that was eating would be back soon. At this time it's around 2: 45. The owner assured me that I would be out of the salon by 3:15 p.m.. about 15 to 20 minutes goes by and it's about 3 now and I'm asking when are they going to finish my nails. The owner said that she would finish my nails so I had a seat in her chair. Again I told her I had to leave by 3:15 and I only had two nails done and my toes done and she assured me again that I would be out by 3:15. At 3:15 I still only had two nails done as I reminded her of the time. After I reminded her of the time, she asked me to get up out of her chair. I asked her why? She told me she did not have time to do my nails anymore although I made an appointment. I asked her why the sudden change and she said don't worry about it I just don't have time. I told her I was not leaving the shop without my nails and toes done since I made an appointment. So I sat in her chair for the next 10 minutes until she yelled something foreign to another worker to finish my nails. At this point, I had to reschedule my dentist appointment. Do not go to this nail shop if you want to keep your daily schedule intact. The male owner who handles the scheduling, will take a Walk In's on top of Scheduled Clients!! Even though you have a set appointment you're called in 30 minutes early only to wait 30 minutes. Good way to piss off a client of 3 years. I won't be back, I walked out! This is not the first time this has happened to me! It's too bad because the girls know what they're doing and he screws up the scheduling. And don't rely on their online booking it's never up-to-date and they will reschedule you. The fact that the owner made a comment on my post, shows that he made terrible errors today and in the past. Always blaming the girls for being sick. I've had two sick girls appointment rescheduled or push back or move forward seems like more like a scheduling problem than anything. I repeat don't go to this nail shop if you want to stay on your daily schedule! Most people a lot an hour to an hour and a half at a nail salon and that time is blocked out for personal time. You may be running a business yourself, you may be caring for someone, you may be on your way out of town and the fact that they cannot keep their schedules and will accept walk-ins over your schedule shows you exactly what I'm talkin about. read more

However, I can only give 3 stars because they charge for everything. And they charge a lot! To get an accent nail on my gel manicure (just another color, nothing fancy) was $5! (This had assays been complimentary in my experience unless i want a design or gems etc) Then to use a card to pat is $1 charge. This is ridiculous. I know the credit card processing company doesn't charge that much per transaction, and if they do, then they're being ripped off. I feel businesses should find a way to provide the most convenient way to pay for their services. If they have to charge, it should not be $1 or more. Perhaps this doesn't matter much to you, then this place would have 5 stars in your mind. I genuinely felt taken advantage of. I asked for a pamphlet or brochure of their prices and options and they didn't have one. I will have to compliment the lady who did my manicure. I was in a hurry (because had to wait approximately 30 min since there were two of us and we didn't have an appointment. Again, understandable) and didn't think I had time for a manicure after my pedicure. She did them super fast and did a good job. I was afraid she'd skimp and only do two layers, but she didn't. She did three layers on top of the base and they look great. I will say one of the nails already peeled off, but this isn't that unusual for me, as I'm very rough with my hands.
