Tried the mango/habanero wings tonight. Very good but hot. Service was outstanding as usual, had a great time and good food.

Headed through Tennessee and wife found location last minutes. Seemed full of locals. Great service, lots of fried stuff. Ribs and fried catfish were great value at less than $10. Huge yummy onion rings. Worth a visit if you are passing through area. read more

I have been coming here for over 25 years and I drive 150 miles to eat here. You can never go wrong with the fried pickles, wings,and tea. I also recommend the steak sandwich and my son loves the fried oyster basket. read more

We have been here a few times but this time it was horrible from the time we walked in to the time we left. I said Hello to every staff member I came in contact with no one responded back simply just stared at me. After we ordered our food my daughter accidentally spilled her water it was all over the whole table and dripping on me , I sent my daughter to ask a guy for a rag and he was talking to another guy and said give me a minute because they are back, no big deal but he stood at the register not doing a thing but looking around so after about 5 minutes of water dripping all over me we just decided to clean it with napkins. It was my daughters fault but we were sitting at a table right in front of him and yet he made no effort to help by getting us a towel, then the food came out and my husbands burger and chili were cold as if it had just came out of the fridge and the kids got dog was undercooked and cold as well. I don't know if they are cooking it to fast or if the equipment is not working properly but the food was awful. Manager was nice when we spoke to her but again I don't think we will be back. read more

Relaxed, fun atmosphere with plenty of tv's, beer, wings and shorts... sound familiar? Much better than I expected. They were very busy and the service was well above average. I even watched other servers at other tables, the service was great. Every customer was smiling... it just felt good being there. We were greeted immediately after we sat down. We ordered an appetizer of cheese fries along with 4 sodas. The drinks came out quickly and the appetizer followed right behind. We ordered a few plates of wings and I selected the rack of ribs. The wings were good, not exceptional, from the feedback I received. The ribs were outstanding. Clean bones. Not over sauced. Great flavor. I dove in... yeah, I had to use the wetnaps that were provided. As for my perception, a sports themed wing joint, they were much more than that. The service gets 5 stars. The wings 3/4 stars. The ribs get a solid 5 stars. The atmosphere... other guests smiling and enjoying themselves is worth another 5 stars. Toot's, go ahead and toot your horn loud and proud. The kids really love Elvis, the in-house Iguana, who is usually resting in his englassed cage. The food is cheap and good. The atmosphere is very family-focused and casual. Great place to go for a quick get-to-gether with friends and family or a great place to stop after a ball game. This place is a staple of the Murfreesboro community. read more

Kind of just drove up on this restaurant while visiting Murfreesboro. Stopped in during lunch and the place was full of people however, that did not stop my table of three from getting a table as soon as we walked through the door. Our waitress was nice and prompt during our time at the restaurant. I had the lunch special of 5 fingers and fries and it was definitely a good decision. Aside from it being a complete and utter ripoff of Hooters (which is my baby...6 years!) right down to the plates... I thoroughly enjoy this place. They have great fried pickles, service with a smile, and a rockin' atmosphere. I feel all greasy inside after eating, but I wouldn't expect to feel any other way after eating wings and fries. One word... ick!! I'm not a very picky person but everything was extra salty and greasy. The fried Catfish tasted like seawater, gross. The only ok part about this restaurant is that prices are pretty reasonable however, there are definitely much better options even for the price. :( read more

A true Murfreesboro original! Like many others, i've been coming to Toot's since I was just a wee little lad. I've grown up, but Toot's hasn't changed much. The Broad St. location (Original) is still by far the best. They have added on a little over the years. THe menu has changed a little too. When I first walked in I said to myself...this is a failed Hooters that someone bought and just barely changed the name to Toots. And then I started to look the menu and was underwhelmed...so I just ordered 5 regular wings and 5 boneless. That was me playing it safe and punting this meal. The 5 regular hot wings were rolled in Cajun sauce as well which was a nice twist. Then came the most shocking thing of all time...ladies and gentlemen I may have just had the best boneless wings I've ever had in my life. Not joking. Not overhyping. Our dinner was a bust last night. Service was great but the kitchen was lacking in quality. My food was late getting out due to a kitchen issue. Which was comped by the manager. When the food did come out the tenders didn't seem to be cooked long enough. And the sauce wasn't napalm. My wife's onion rings weren't cooked long enough either after sending the first batch back. And the sweet potato wedges my mother in law had were pretty greasy. I remember when Toot's was the place to go back in the day before they became a franchise. I love Toot's. It's amazing. Everything I've ever eaten here was amazing. If you like fried pickles this is your place. If you don't, try them, because I assure you, you'll love it. I love their Cajun Chicken Salad Wrap, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and the Jalepeno Burger with bacon. They have a good beer and wine selection. The atmosphere is very low-key, very sports bar-ish. Hooters, without the good food and well, the Hooters. I honestly don't know the draw to this place. It attempts a fun atmosphere, but somehow comes closer to just TVs and noise. Very tightly packed place. The Oysters were fair, a bit too warm for me to feel comfortable in ordering them again, perhaps they sat on my plate too long before the waitress brought them out, not sure. The food is mediocre. I had a fish sandwich, and my girlfriend got the ribs. Both were just OK. I think I may give this place another chance during football season, but for now, I have had better. read more

I love Toots.. I am a hair stylist, and we enjoy calling ordering and then go picking up our order we have done so twice in the past two weeks. I will say I am not pleased.. 1.. when we called and asked them if thy could fax us a menu the lady said no were to busy and hung up.. thank goodness some of us have smart phones.. 2.. when we arrived to pick it up we waited 15 for the lady to finally bring our food over.. so after that experience I thought that they were just off their game. The second time we called in it was the same lady thy takes to go orders rude again.. when we arived we asked for silverware and ketcup.. she replied no.. we order four meals for our stylist and we could receive a simple request.. its sad to say but the customer service has driven our business away from a good restaurant and I am a customer who comes once a week. read more

Yeah, I don't get it - this is not very good. Fried pickles did not taste great, burger was burnt and dry, fries went stale and cold almost immediately after they got to the table. Great food and service. Be sure to get there before 12:00 for lunch as the lunch crowd show up in full force at noon and it the waits get a little longer. Everytime I come to visit my friends in Murfreesboro I love to visit Toot's. Its always busy but the wait is nothing like back home for Red Lobster. Toot's was a great experience. I had the chop steak with steamed broccoli and cheese. My girlfriend had wings and fries. The food was excellent. We told them it was our first time there, and we received a free order of their fried pickles. We were skeptical until we tried them. They were AMAZING! I never thought a fried pickle would be something I'd enjoy. We're definitely going back again, and I would recommend it to anyone. read more
