I've eaten here numerous times and have never been disappointed. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is always clean and the food is always spot on. The variety is great and they're willing to make substitutions and or change things around to make it the way you'd like. Their comfort foods are delicious. They vary from season to season, but you can get a homestyle plate anytime of the year whether it's breakfast lunch or dinner. Good food never goes out of style.

After a long drive to South Florida (to pick up my mom), we stopped for lunch as we had skipped breakfast. I didn't expect TooJay's to be this huge! There was a nice crowd. Food was excellent! Service was great. Love the vibes!

I do like coming here for a patty melt because lots of area restaurants do not have it on the menu. Obviously I thinks it's good although it's 50/50 on them actually getting my fries right when I as for them crispy. The place is usually never too busy and it does seem that there is a bit of turnover with wait staff. Giving them a 3 star for service this time no one in the building and it took them a bit to realize we were there and we felt like we were inconveniencing her. Don't know maybe just a bad day which I can understand BUT! Actually this resturant is a hard sell for the wife already and this does not help my cause :/. Anyway if ya like a greasy patty melt this is your place.

What a pleasant overall experience? The waitress was polite and understanding of my 3yr old. Our orders came out together and the food was hot and fresh. The dining room was neat and clean.

Service today VERY slow!! Hungry!! Took 30 minutes to get food. Busy but not too busy. I would recommend sometime on the weekend to come with a friend. Order coffee and a slice of cake. Their cakes are all made in house and look delicious. Ambience so so.

The Vibe: From the outside, the shop is pretty unassuming, tucked into a strip mall--but that's often where the best deli spots are hiding. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a busy lunch rush and a fast-paced New York deli vibe, with staff cranking out sandwiches left and right. Always a good sign. What We Ordered: * Hot Rachel * Classic Italian * 1/2 lb pesto macaroni salad * 1/2 lb redskin potato salad We took everything home for lunch and... Every single thing was delicious. Sandwich Highlights: The Hot Rachel was exactly what you want from a deli sandwich--tender pastrami, melty Swiss, tangy slaw, and toasted rye all working together perfectly. Stacked high and full of flavor. My husband's Classic Italian was also fantastic, loaded with meats and that classic deli balance of flavors. Both deli salads were great, but the pesto macaroni salad was the standout--creamy, herby, and packed with flavor. We're honestly so excited to have discovered a great New York-style deli less than 10 minutes from our house. Safe to say we'll definitely be back soon to work our way through the rest of the menu. Pro tip: Don't skip the deli salads--grab one or two to share with your sandwich.

Wow! The food is addictive! Ordered it three times in two weeks just as good every time!!read more

The Vibe: We came on a Saturday and the parking lot was packed, which we took as a great sign--and it was. You walk through a fun outdoor patio before heading inside to order, and the space is incredibly unique--colorful, eclectic, slightly hipster, with dog photos and quirky decor everywhere. The line to order was pretty long, but we noticed a few open seats at the bar. We asked the bartender if we could order there, and she said yes--pro move. Skip the line, grab a bar seat. Drinks: We tried the house lager, which was solid and refreshing. What We Ordered: * Homemade Queso + Flavor Bomb 3 * "Famous" Pulled Pork Sandwich * "What the Fig?" Sandwich Standout Bite: The queso with Flavor Bomb 3 was incredible. Sweet, savory, and completely addictive. The pineapple in the flavor bomb added the perfect touch of sweetness and made the dish really stand out. Sandwiches: Both sandwiches were excellent. The pork was fresh, tender, and packed with flavor. The classic pulled pork was great, but if you like bold flavors, the "What the Fig?" is the way to go--the fig jam added the perfect sweet-savory balance. Flavor-packed and messy in the best way. Sides: Sandwiches come with your choice of Miss Vickie's chips, house-made slaw, or both for $1 extra. The house-made slaw was a standout for me--fresh, crisp, and the perfect complement to the sandwiches. Overall: Great food, fun atmosphere, and a unique experience from start to finish. We're already planning our next visit--and next time we're bringing our pup since they're dog-friendly and fully embrace it. Pro tip: Head straight to the bar if there's a long line--and don't skip the queso with a flavor bomb.

It was served hot and had the perfect amount of sauce and eggplant and cheese. My friend told me that I had to try this pistachio cream cake and it was so flavorful and creamy and delicious!
