It has that small business, personalized interaction and enthusiasm that is sometimes lost in larger restaurants. And the most important thing... They use quality ingredients and make amazing tasting, healthy food. While I'm not actually vegan, I love all good food, and will try just about anything. I washed it down with one of their peach lemonades, which was incredible. Sometimes when they are out, I will stop in just for a tea or lemonade with one of their cookies. They are so good and a perfect snack. The staff who run the truck are two sisters and their mom. They are some of the kindest, nicest, and most friendly people I have ever met. While at first I chose to substitute a portobello for the burger, I then asked if he could add beyond sausage instead. He got to thinking, and creating, and ended up assembling probably the best sandwich I've ever had at a food cart. Combining just about everything he had on the cart, Jim assembled for me, on the spot, a sandwich with beyond sausage, Morningstar bacon, greens, grilled peppers, portobello mushroom and fabulous sauces on a pretzel bun. Had a craving while visiting the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, and this popped up on Yelp as one…read moreof the best options for that around. They certainly had plenty of options! Massive menu of burgers, spanning a range of style from thick to smash, flames to griddle, and even typed of meat or non-meat. Quite frankly, if you can't find a burger that calls to you here, you must be very difficult to please. It was a Sunday, and the general area was thumping, this place was about half full and the vibe was relaxed. They're not on the absolutely main drag of Clifton Hill, and honestly, I would hope that benefits them both in price of rent and who might find it easy to wander in. There is paid parking nearby, cheaper than most because to get down to the falls is a bit of a hike. The hike back will be pretty far uphill, but we made it no problem. I love that the sodas come in a giant measuring cup, not much need for a refill, but they do give them complimentary if you ask for one. We started with standard poutine as an appetizer, it was really tasty. Nice flavor on the gravy, and a large amount of cheese curds. Instead of getting more fries as a side, went for a caesar salad. Was surprised to see bacon on it, but I definitely didn't hate that. It was quite good. I got a double smash burger with a nice thick onion ring on it and their version of burger sauce, as well as a spice relish to kick things up a notch. First thing, my patties were smashed very nicely, and there was a clear crispy crust on them. Bravo, I was pretty impressed, and the flavor was robust. I loved the spicy relish, and the bun also complemented the meat well. It was a big burger, and I was thoroughly satisfied. The service, maybe could have been slightly more attentive, but really just took awhile to take our order. Once it was taken, we had no complaints. Very friendly, everything was accurate, and like I said... big drink cups means not a ton of need for refills. I would come back here again on a future visit to the falls.
