This man got our back! The food is nothing short of amazing. My chicken and waffle made with oyster mushroom was perfection! Batter was thick but soft. Crunchy yet juicy. Fried but not oily. This dish is a walking contradiction but they walked this fine line and blew this dish out the water! Best chicken and waffles hands down. The drumsticks were the classic with sweet and tangy BBQ sauce with paper thin skin and fibrous underneath. At the end, there's a sugar cane for bone to chew out the sweet "marrow". Highly recommend. My wife loves nachos and theirs were a big hit with impossible meat. I was unfortunate not to have been able to sample it. Jalapeño cornbread? Yes please! I believe it's gluten free and it's just a hint of spicy that builds as you eat more and more of it! H bomb burrito was tasty as well but I did not eat it fresh to do it justice. I washed it down with one of their peach lemonades, which was incredible. Sometimes when they are out, I will stop in just for a tea or lemonade with one of their cookies. They are so good and a perfect snack. The staff who run the truck are two sisters and their mom. They are some of the kindest, nicest, and most friendly people I have ever met. I miss Cafe 59...and used to overlook the fact that potato wedges aren't included with the sandwiches, the falafel burger is always mushy in the middle, they don't include enough dressing with their salads...and things are sloppily prepared. I overlooked all of that because they use whole foods and the taste was decent. Fast forward to 2025, I've included a photo of a turkey burgundy sandwich with a small bag of Lay's (weird choice, but ok) and a pickle spear, which costs $17.25 before you even add tax or tip. What?? I totally get that costs are rising for everyone including restaurants, but this isn't in line with what you can get at other places, even on the same street. If you can't sell your original menu at reasonable prices anymore, then you need to adjust it. We won't be back.

My daughter and I both selected the Jimmy Mac Burger, but alas, he only had enough burger left for one order. While at first I chose to substitute a portobello for the burger, I then asked if he could add beyond sausage instead. He got to thinking, and creating, and ended up assembling probably the best sandwich I've ever had at a food cart. Combining just about everything he had on the cart, Jim assembled for me, on the spot, a sandwich with beyond sausage, Morningstar bacon, greens, grilled peppers, portobello mushroom and fabulous sauces on a pretzel bun. He was so proud of it, and rightfully so, that he said he was going to add it to the menu. I can't wait to have it again!

Naan wasn't great either. There was no char like you usually get with naan. It didn't come with rice, which I didn't expect-next time I'll order it. The owner of this restaurant understands food allergies and intolerances, which is great for people like me who have to avoid certain foods. The restaurant is nicely decorated, very clean and they have a beautiful outdoor patio.
