I had the best experience with Tony's Moving. Tony, the owner of the company, is very responsive, so communicating with him via email or phone was very pleasant. I did a long distance move from OH to NY, and the move took two days. Tony sent two guys who were super friendly and excellent in their work. It took them about an hour each to load and unload my one-bedroom apt stuff. They packed all my furniture so nicely with their stretch wrap ,so none of them was damaged in any way. I would definitely use their service again when I move, and I highly recommend Tony's moving to others as well. Moving itself is not the most exciting experience, but these guys makes it less stressful!! read more

These guys were amazing, did a move from a very packed 1 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom townhouse in the POURING RAIN without complaint, damage, or any other problems. Much thanks to the crew led by Phillip who did an outstanding job at a very reasonable price. He deserves a raise! Highly recommend them to anyone for their moving needs. read more

Fast service, reasonable price, and friendly service are our strengths. If I have a chance next time, I would like to choose again.

I am only giving 4 stars because they're prices increased by 40% due to the pandemic which is a lot. Other than that I recommend them to anyone the movers are fast and the customer service is great! Gina is easy to work with and reasonable.my experience with Tonys movers has always been great!! read more

Christine was exceptional to work with. She was responsive and prompt. She answered all of my questions and checked with Toby whenever she was not sure. The movers arrived early and worked efficiently. They were friendly and professional and moved my belongings quickly. There was an item or two that was damaged but nothing significant. I will definitely be working with them again in the future. They helped ease my anxiety tremendously and worked around my schedule. read more

We used Tony's for three out-of-state moves, twice out of NYC and once in. We used packing service all three times and we were very satisfied with the service all three times. For our most recent move this summer (2021), the prices had gone up but I think it's worth it. The paperwork, booking process, has all become more professional and they do a much more accurate estimate of the cost (number of boxes for packing) so there were no surprises in the actual cost. I also liked how they booked a separate day for packing, for moving out, and for moving in. NYC moves can be so stressful to accurately time the elevator reservations and this way the timing was very manageable and it was way less stressful. All three moves, we never lost or broke a single item! read more

I have used this moving service a couple of other times, but by far this last time I had to move my entire place. 3 of their workers arrived early (wow when does that happen). The workers were quick and efficient. Now that I have finished unpacking everything; there was ZERO damage, nothing broken, nothing chipped; AMAZING, right? There were no moving casualties. I recommend them to anyone I know is moving. As a matter of fact at the new place they placed all furniture where I wanted it to go and set up my bed. I will never use another service. So worth the money. I literally did moving but direct the room to place each item. read more

I honestly don't know where to begin with this review. Just to give you an idea of my enthusiasm about this place, with my PC still in a box and completely unaccessible, I decided to install the Yelp app, which I've been avoiding, just to make sure I get my review in while the memory is still fresh in my mind, because these guys actually deserve it. Most movers are late and wishy washy and don't bother to keep you in the loop, at least in my experience. Well, we were scheduled for 9am, and not only were they not late, they actually showed up a full half hour early, ready and raring to go. Here's how good these guys are. My wife and I had literally been up all night trying desperately to get everything packed but were woefully behind schedule. When Philip and his crew arrived, I explained to them we were late and to please just take everything that was packed, and we would just handle the rest ourselves the next day. As it is, we had grossly underestimated how many boxes we had, and were probably already over the number that our quote had been based on. Instead of being glad they'd have less work to do, Philip actually had his guys building boxes for us and encouraging us to just fill them while they worked d so we'd have less to do ourselves the next day. I was exhausted and had already given up, but these guys literally motivated me to get a second wind and I must have given them a dozen extra boxes to take. Probably more. In the back of my mind, I kept thinking, ok, well this is gonna cost me. They have a flat rate, but we had exceeded the estimate by a large margin. These guys took a 220 lb CRT television like it was no big deal. Anyway, when the time came to pay up, a full five hours later, the price was unchanged. I can't imagine how much extra materials they burned through, but they didn't charge us a penny extra. Better, they had our TV wrapped in a blanket, and since our apartment was still pretty much under construction, they didn't want to unwrap it and leave it at risk, so they just gave us the blanket to keep so the TV wouldn't get damaged. This is the kind of place Tony's is, and Philip and his crew in particular. They were the nicest guys you can come across, never had one complaint or negative word to say. Oh, and about that price. It wasn't like some compromise where we decided to pay more for better service. This was a rock bottom price, by far the lowest estimate we could find. I can tell you at least one place estimated THREE TIMES the price. Another, well-regarded moving company quoted us double and said anyone who quotes less will upcharge you at the last minute when you have no choice. Not only did these guys not do that, but they had every opportunity to and chose not to. I really can't say enough good things about these guys. If you have any doubt whatsoever, drop it. I absolutely assure you they are the real deal. By far the best movers I have ever seen in action. I will use them exclusively going forward, and will recommend them to everyone I know who needs movers. You'd honestly be a fool to go with someone else. And I'd ask for Philip, personally, if I had to do it all over again. He wasn't just patient, but went out of his way to reduce our obvious stress. This is the place you want to go with, take my word for it. read more

Really debated on whether or not I wanted to post this since bad reviews harm businesses but had I read about a similar experience, I NEVER would have went with this company. I was given a flat rate moving quote from Tony a couple of months ago. I provided how long the move would take from building to building and the inventory list. A team of 3 came 30 mins earlier than expected which was a good sign but that's the only highlight of the move. They went back and forth, speaking to each other about how there's so much work in Spanish (a little unprofessional but still it was not intended for me to understand). All of a sudden, out of nowhere, the team lead SAYS HE DOESN'T WANT TO FINISH THE JOB because we have too much stuff. I was really taken aback and asked, we gave you all the items on the inventory list, why not? He still shook his head and refused and said he could not believe the quote I was given and since he only gets a fraction, he would never have taken the job if he knew how much stuff we had (clearly he didn't even glance at the inventory list). This is something you take up to your supervisor, NEVER to the customer. Imagine saying this to a client at work? You would be terminated on the spot. We even moved all the heavy boxes ourselves prior to them arriving and gave them bags of wardrobe and blankets to just finish the job which they refused at first too. I immediately called his supervisor and he continued with heavy sighs and apologized but the damage was done. They even damaged an item and lost a piece of our bedding frame. I told all this to Tony and his supervisor and they said they suspended the workers and apologized but nothing was really done or offered when my parents and I finished the move ourselves and still had damaged/incomplete items. They offered to mail us a "gift" which didn't make sense. No reimbursement offered for the items or anything to truly own up to this ordeal. I was offered similar or better quotes from competing companies but I went with this company due to the high positive reviews. It was a huge mistake. read more

Tony's moving crew made my move to Manhattan a breeze. So much of the stress of the day was relieved by the reliable moving crew. Not only was everyone super helpful from the crew, but even the employees on the phone helped out a lot. The guys were able to help assemble some of our furniture as well. Hard to beat the experience I had using Tony's Moving. read more

I had the BEST experience with Tony's Moving this past weekend. Philip was the lead on the team and he was incredibly efficient, fast and really nice! They arrived exactly on time and got everything done so quickly. The pricing is quite competitive and the service you get is top notch. There are a lot of sketchy companies out there, but this is not one of them. I'll definitely be using Tony's Moving again and would highly recommend them. read more

I used Tony's moving last week, everything went smoothly. Kevin from the office was awesome as he gave me the quote base on the photos and the furniture sheet that I submitted. I have changed moving date several times and asked a lot questions, he was super patient and responsive. Scott and his moving team came to my house on time. They were effectively and professional. This is by far the most satisfied moving experience I had. read more

Moving during a pandemic was probably one of the most stressful experiences I have dealt with. I was introduced to Tommy when I contacted Tony's moving for an estimate. What seemed like getting a simple estimate and setting a moving date turned out to be quite the ordeal once Covid-19 hit. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, my closing was pushed back a month due to my town being closed and not being able to issue a Certificate of Occupancy inspection which is mandatory to close. I had to change my move date 5 (FIVE!!) times due to this and also had to deal with a rental that fell through last minute. Every time I called Tommy to change the date, I felt anxious that he would be annoyed or charge me a change fee but each and every time I called, he assured me that he understood it wasn't my fault and that we can work through this. He picked up every call and answered every text and it was one less thing I had to worry about during these uncertain times. We finally moved last week and we had a couple of hiccups (which is common for any move) but overall, it went smoothly. Tommy sent over 2 moving crews (6 people) and they wore their mask the entire time. They were professional and courteous throughout the day. Tommy's estimate was a little higher then one other estimate I had received but he assured me that they would take very good care of my furniture and do an efficient job. And they followed through. They wrapped and rewrapped and put blankets on everything possible. Whatever I didn't have labeled, they labeled for me. My water purifier guy couldn't come to unhook the water due to the pandemic but the movers carefully removed it and wrapped the machine into a big saran ball so it would not get damaged. I also had a baby grand piano that they handled beautifully. There was one incident where a piece of furniture fell onto the baseboard and they were quick to try to find a resolution to fix it. Tommy, who is the manager and not part of the moving crew, quickly came by to remedy the situation. In the end, I did have to call a professional to fix the baseboard but there was no question or discussion about who was going to foot the bill. They took care of it. About an hour after he left, another issue arose. My gas grill had to be removed from the gas line and no one was able to figure out how to do it. I was already at the new house and I was told that they were just going to leave the grill there bc it could not be removed. In a panic, I called Tommy again and he assured me not to worry and turned the car around and came back to the house and removed it. I felt such a huge relief and really felt like he was there for me. For any move, issues will arise but I feel like the way it was handled speaks volumes about Tommy and Tony's moving. I'm so grateful to have met with Tommy and his team for this move. Moving is stressful enough but with all of the limits and detours due to the coronavirus, the stress is certainly multiplied. I will be moving again shortly and I will happily be using them again for my next move. THANK YOU!!! read more

Tony's Moving helped my stepmom move out of a 3 bd single family into storage. We had such a great experience, after 5 months, we asked them to move her belongings again from storage into her new 55+ community apartment. They're very reasonable and professional. Scott was patient, careful and knowledgeable as to how and where things should go. I would use them everytime I move. Thank you Tony's Moving for such a great experience! read more

Tony's Moving did a great job! We packed our own things and they moved it all. The movers were on time and got our substantial move done in 4 hours door to door. They were professional, fast, and were careful not to damage any property or belongings. The only thing that wasn't discussed is that the estimate said 3 movers were coming but 4 came so it was a good thing I had some extra cash with me for a 4th tip. Aside from this all of the booking went smoothly and the estimate was accurate. I plan to hire them for our next move. Thanks Tony's! read more

Hello, I can't say enough great things about this moving company! Moving is no fun but these guys made it as smooth of a process as possible from beginning to end! The moving coordinator Christine was so attentive and patient with all my questions and concerns and made sure everything was in order for my last minute moving date. Once the day came, the guys arrived earlier then expected to make time to properly safeguard/disassemble/wrap everything. They then coordinated efficiently to load everything and get on the road and unload all once at the destination. If you are looking for a close to no headache move as possible, these are your guys!! Highly recommend!! read more

The team was very thorough. They moved and wrapped everything and made sure no parts of the walls or floors were damaged. The only negative that I had were how they moved my baby grand piano up the stoop, which caused small chips in the concrete. But besides that, good work for a great price! read more

Very efficient, very timely. The movers were very humble, polite and great at their work. Sue who answered the phone and managed everything like COI, estimates etc was very efficient. Tony movers were very professional, right from scheduling to estimating before the move, to the actual move which was perfectly executed by dismantling the larger pieces of furniture, covering and wrapping the fragile / glass items to sealing all the boxes and loading them on the truck, driving to the destination, unloading, unpacking and assembling the furniture in respective rooms along with cleaning up the leftover packaging material. We gave a solid tip as we were super impressed at the 3 personnel who assisted with the move and have already recommended the service to our friends who were moving next month and they have similar feedback. 5 star service would recommend it to everyone if you are thinking of worry free moving. read more

Ton'y moving was awesome. Jina came to our house and did a full walkthrough and provided a middle-of-the-pack estimate on the spot. I appreciated that the cost would be a flat rate as opposed to an hourly rate. While we might have saved money elsewhere, the peace of mind knowing that however long the move took, that prices would stay the same, was much needed in the midst of moving craziness. Tony's sent three movers to our house who completely unloaded a two bedroom house in about an hour. The team was thorough and safe with all of our belongings and when we got to the apartment (we did a move from NJ to NYC), they were quick and efficient unloading and moving boxes and furniture to the appropriate rooms. They packed up and left with all moving materials including the plastic wrap they used on the furniture, after reassembling for us. Could not recommend more. The move was faster than we expected and the team did a fantastic job. read more

I can't say enough about how satisfied I was with this moving company and team. They were polite and well organized. Moved my piano and fridge no problem. They were very efficient and very careful with the furniture. They packed the truck and optimized the space very well. It was a great move and a great price and value for the money. I would hire them again and work with Tony and recommend his team to anyone looking for a moving company. 5 stars all the way. read more

I've used Tony's to do two moves now, and each time they've been great! This past time they came with a team of 4 people -- special thanks to Moses for going out of his way to be helpful and answer questions -- who all worked quickly and efficiently. Ask for Team Philip. Best moving experience ever. Moving from a 1 bedroom + den (also had outdoor furniture) to another unit near by. Quoted $550 plus $80 for certificate of insurance, which was competitive with other Korean moving companies. Although we definitely more stuff than typical, there was zero discussion of the price on moving day. They even gave us used boxes (which we had to pick up) for packing and they brought additional boxes, tape and packing paper in moving day for us to use. On moving day, they arrived right on time at 9am with a truck and 3 movers. The move itself was handled efficiently and carefully. Philip, the team leader, is a very hardworking and detail-oriented, making sure that all furniture was well protected. They quickly disassembled the dining table and reassembled it after the move. The large glass cover prosed no problem for these guys. The bed was a little tricky because of its size, but Philip knew exactly how to adjust the frame so that it would fit through the door. Also, rather than using the elevator, which would have risked possible damage to the bed, they walked it up the stairs even without our supervision) to minimize any risk to the bed. They completed the job in about 5 hours, which was better than I expected. I would definitely use Philip again for my next move. read more

I can't recommend them enough! I'm referring them to close friends who plan on moving soon and would recommend them to anyone. First of all their quote was extremely affordable. Even when I had to change the number of boxes (by a lot!) from my original estimate they barely charged much more at all. The three workers were extremely fast, strong and super careful. They wrapped up all of the furniture extremely well and padded it to make sure there was no possibility of any scratches or damage. Stuff I wasn't even expecting them to wrap up or protect they did just in case! The workers were super nice guys with a great attitude and hope I get the same crew if I need to move again. Don't bother risking it with another company. You probably won't save much if at all as their prices are super competitive plus you can't get any better service than this. read more

At the recommendation of a friend, we contacted Tony's Moving when we moved from our townhome of 11 years (think of how much you accumulate during that time!) to our first home. To say it was a smooth and effortless experience is an understatement. They were very responsive via email. The pricing was clear and very reasonable. The movers arrived as planned. We packed our own boxes so that we could keep track of things when unpacking and we had over 120 boxes of all sizes and weight. We had an incredibly heavy granite dining room table and exercise equipment as well. Upon arrival, they assured all would be taken care of and went straight to work. Even as the hours passed...and we became somewhat worried they continued to reassure that they would do all that was necessary to get the move done. And, they did it all the while with the best disposition ever. We wholeheartedly recommend Tony Moving. The level of professionalism and care is definitely something not shown by others.
