Under an hour on a rainy day, Tony responded to my inquiry on Yelp (took less than 5 mins), came to where my car was (took only 20ish mins) and then created an exact replica of my key (20ish mins). The pricing is affordable and since he's a mobile locksmith, so he came straight to my home (perfect for wfh haha). Tony made this process super easy. I didn't realize how fast this can be and feel quite silly for waiting so long to finally fix it haha. I was also writing a pretty lengthy email for work and Tony came by and finished the job before I finished the email lol! Definitely gonna save Tony in my contacts for any future locksmith work !

I realize I lost my damn house key on the go-karting track lol. A very signature Tommy-ism as my family likes to call these moments. Since this isn't my first rodeo as I've lost car keys or have locked myself out of my car, I knew it was time to use Yelp Request A Quote. Filled out a quick form on the app and bam, just like that, sent a message to a handful of local locksmiths. Central Texas Locksmith got back to me with a very reasonable quote and they got to my place within 15 minutes. They were super patient and very friendly although my door was deadbolted and locked. The locksmith was so friendly and had a great personality. I highly recommend Central Texas Locksmith as they finally got me in, and were super professional the whole time. At least now I know my doors aren't easy to open lol.

Just silence...pure, uncomfortable silence. At first, I tried optimism. Then logic. Then the classic move of turning the key again like it might suddenly change its mind. It did not (like a child digging in their heels). At this point, I accepted that my car had entered its "I'm tired and I quit" era. Cue roadside assistance....Alpha Roadside Services and Battery. Thankfully, help arrived before I had time to spiral into Googling "How to survive permanently stranded in your driveway." The roadside assistance technician showed up calm, professional, and completely unfazed by my dramatic retelling of events. Within minutes, they diagnosed the issue, got things sorted out, and brought my car back to life like some kind of automotive wizard. What could have turned into a full‑blown inconvenience (or emotional breakdown) ended up being quick and painless. No lectures, no eye‑rolling...just efficient help and a running vehicle again. The car was not tired, but the battery was a bit weak. While roadside service was free through our insurance plan, we had to pay for battery, which was reasonably priced. Thanks to roadside assistance, my car is no longer staging protests, and I can once again go about my day pretending this never happened. Highly recommend Alpha Roadside Services and Battery... especially if your car enjoys surprise rebellion.
