Another great job by Texas Tree Elite…read more We had a pine tree in our back yard that was damaged when another tree swiped it and fell during Hurricane Beryl. I guess that stressed the tree enough to the point that it couldn't defend itself: it was infested with pine bark beetles. Within days we watched it go from semi-brown on a few branches to totally brown. Wow. Called Texas Tree Elite as soon as they opened on a Monday morning. Within hours, Jose was here to give us an estimate. Since this tree was perilously close to the power lines, it would be a little more expensive to remove. Received a fair quote, and the next day the crew was here. In about an hour, this tree was gone, stump ground, yard cleaned. What a crew! Excellent service with a skilled crew who were very conscious of the neighboring trees, the power lines and our yard. Highly recommended.

You have to call The J Team if you need help with yard clean up!…read moreFace it, life happens and sometimes the backyard gets neglected. I see 2 types of reviews for this our tree project. 1) The impact: I did not appreciate nor know the improvement in quality and beauty from having Houston Tree Surgeon come and work. My grass gets sun now, the natural light on our patio is incredible. Opens up the whole space. It would be dramatic, but i can't say it any other way, it has changed our outdoor life and home. 2) The experience: Estimate came as the least of 3 - but the variation in pricing was about $200 on a $1000 job. Making an appointment was easy, just had to be in for the following week by the Friday afternoon appointment publishing (I would guess that during busier times, that might change). The team came, introduced themselves, and worked diligently to do more than i expected. The complaints: like folks who review restaurants who they say they did not have a reservation, waited 2 hours and the food was amazing - yet only give 1 star. The team did arrive late, but i am not that type of reviewer. The team worked hard, was organized, and respectful. It is understandable they are busy and run a few hours late. The quality of work, focus and effort speaks for itself.
