I reduced my rating due to the small portion of corned beef hash and the rude customer service. I love this place & have been there many times but this time was different. Despite ordering an additional side of corned beef hash due to the small portion served on my plate, it never arrived. When I politely expressed my disappointment, the server (not waitress but an older worker that served my food) snapped at me. Although the food was delicious, I left hungry so had to downgrade my rating from 5 stars, which I previously gave for good portions, great customer service and delicious food. *some of the pics are from another visit which shows a good portion of corned beef by itself. I never thought anyone could really mess up a breakfast sandwich but Toni's did! My croissant sausage egg and cheese was hard on the top and wet on the bottom! They fried egg wasn't cooked all the way! The sausage was nasty!!! Croissant wasn't buttery at all. Then I brought a bottled soda that was flat! It wasn't worth the price! If it was good I wouldn't be mad at the price. I don't recommend! Service was good and fast but food was disappointing! read more

What an amazing little place! We stopped for breakfast this morning after a long day and a lot of hassle traveling from Florida yesterday. The last thing I wanted was to stand in line somewhere. Walked right into Toni's and were greeted warmly! Ordered coffee and breakfast. Love they have smaller portions. Fabulous coffee, great staff, wonderful food, all under 30 for 2, a rarity these days. The good: - Pancakes we really big & good flavor - Good coffee - Wife said the turkey sausage was the best she ever had The bad: - French toast was bottom of the barrel, could've made it better myself - the bread chosen was the cheapest, thinnest Aldi bread you could find. - Eggs were overdone and folded so 2 eggs felt like half an egg. - Bacon was really small and all of ours were overdone, like eating crunchy rocks. Sausage was only patty sausage, no choice for links. I'm not a patty guy but if you like 'em, these were the real deal. Conclusion: The price is just as much as any other place, portions were small & too much of the food was just subpar. Go to HoneyBee or even IHOP. read more

If your dining "experience " is as important as your food quality then you will Love this place.... great atmosphere!! Toni and Charlotte make you feel like you have known them forever. As for the food.... breakfast is always fresh and hot and made to order! Lunch selection is vast... truly something for everybody. The head Chef Don must live there because I have never not seen him on the grill. He takes a lot of pride in his cooking and always ask for feedback.... where does that happen?? I sat down at 10:00 am for breakfast and it is 10:21 when writing this review and I have yet to have my breakfast. I ordered right away so it's been a while. Big breakfast included choice of pancakes or french toast, 2 eggs, sausage and bacon. A properly ran diner can knock this order out in 3 mins flat. This place may have had 15 patrons in it at the time I came in, not that busy. They need to speed things up. read more

We came in on a weekday for breakfast and the service was great. Our server was friendly and we were seated pretty quickly. I ordered the French toast with turkey sausage and my husband ordered the turkey sausage sandwich with egg and cheese with scrambled eggs a la carte. This is the best little cafe in Glen Burnie. It's locally owned and Toni and Charlotte are great. The food is consistently very good. Great breakfast. Everything tasted fresh and non-greasy. Waitress was friendly and courteous. The only negative thing was a gas-type smell. The waitress said it is the smell of ink from the next door printing company that is seeping into their side. That is unfortunate, but they need to address it. That ink smell is not good. read more

Well I tried another Glen Burnie spot on my breakfast and brunch tour. If you are nostalgic for military mess hall cuisine this is your place. It's a nice blue collar diner I would rate it higher if it was on par with an Air Force dining facility. Prices are ok for the quality of the food. read more

Been going to Johnson's every Sunday for about 3 months now for breakfast. By far one of the best breakfast place I have been to in a long time. Prices are great, food is good and staff is always very nice and friendly. Scrambled eggs are really good not wet but not over cooked either. Don makes them perfect every time! The waitress Dawn is super nice and knows our drink order as soon as we walk in the door. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap but good breakfast with friendly service. read more

I come here at lunch when i am craving a grilled cheese. The guy who makes the food knows how to make a superb grilled cheese. I order the same thing every time i go in. When he sees me coming in he starts getting my sandwich prepared. I always get the sandwich with fries. Sometimes with a brewed sweet tea and others with just a water. This spot is open for breakfast and lunch tucked back in the commercial/warehouse buildings off Baymeadow Drive. It's a small spot, but the people here are so nice. You will see a lot of the same people coming back time and time again because the food is decent. It's got your typical sandwich, sub, soups, salads etc. The food is fresh, and they often have specials with off menu items that are very good.
