Preface note: Loved this place, and 'Dale' is long gone (it's called Codi Jo's Wagon Wheel, and…read moreapparently has been for over 5 years)... We zero in on epicenter bar and grills in small towns, and these folks were right in our wheelhouse. Decades old feel, clean, lots of families, and a solid bar menu with all the standards. Just what we were looking for. I'll refrain from a lengthy dissertation on the delicious food, but will mention that when they offer Steak Bites on the menu, they mean it. Some places give you breaded shoe leather--this joint gives you beeeeef. Well seasoned and tender, as well. Whole place was run by two busy/friendly gals, and the fact that both were cougar smoke-shows made the evening even better. Yes... My Wifey is slappin' me right now, but I had a nice night in Potlatch, Idaho...

I pissed off the bartender with an 8 % tip Jae/Jeanine, due to her being rude, and she called the sheriff on me and my wife for drunk driving after we had 2 beers. Insane! I used to love eating here every 6 months. I no longer feel welcome. If you are from out of town, not born or raised in Potlatch, you will be shunned and treated as an outcast. Its your money and you should spend it as you please but I wouldn't recommend spending it here. Go to the Palouse Caboose or Palouse Brewery where the staff is professional and courteous.

So you pivot walk up and order to-go instead of waiting for the 1+ wait due to the group size. Now I had Sydney (no badge so this is how I'll spell her name) was awesome grabbed a ordering pad took my order: pulled pork Mac n cheese, prime rib dip, x2 seared salmon, mushroom burger and a blue cheese chicken salad...oh and some bbq chicken wings too! She said give us 30 minutes and 30 minutes on the nose, I had food in hand and out the door! No pictures from this order since food in to go boxes are not that sexy and I had hangry diabetes in this group so maybe on our next visit. Food was awesome as usual and was extra special because we're celebrating our Coug! GO COUGS! And thanks to South Fork for always being a great place to be and have a nice meal.

Their menu offers a wide variety of delicious food and a full bar. We happily ordered and shared some favorites: a rib eye served with garlic mashed potatoes, a cheesesteak sandwich with fries, and some tasty lettuce wraps. We were all quite pleased with our dishes, and I really loved how flavorful everything was! The service was friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. I'm already looking forward to returning soon for another wonderful meal at this welcoming spot!

Went to visit family at WSU and they took us here for dinner one night. It was a great meal! Save…read moreroom for dessert, but more about that later. Started with the baked brie appetizer, which was lovely. I ordered the pork chop, which was massive, cooked perfectly (medium as it's ok to have a little pink in porkchops now) and accompaniments were flavorful. Both ordered pastas and it looked so tempting and delicious. Service is friendly. We couldnt decide on dessert so ordered the ice cream cake and apple cake/pie dessert and split. The ice cream cake is one of the best I've had. Layer of mint chocolate chip and chocolate chip, surrounded by a chocolate cookie crumble and cookie sprinkles on top. SO, SO, SO Good. The apple dessert was equally delicious and gave off Xmas / Holiday vibes. They do have espresso, though it seemed like it's not used much as the person had to check if we could order decaf cappuccinos. Those were alright and in the future, I may go without coffee or a decaf black instead. No tipping, which is the first time I've been a restaurant with this policy. It was pleasantly surprising and nice (on the bank account!)

Always start of with drinks and a meat and cheese board. The cheese is locally sourced. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend this spot but be ready to spend.
