So you pivot walk up and order to-go instead of waiting for the 1 hours + wait due to the group size. Now I had Sydney (no badge so this is how I'll spell her name) was awesome grabbed a ordering pad took my order: pulled pork Mac n cheese, prime rib dip, x2 seared salmon, mushroom burger and a blue cheese chicken salad...oh and some bbq chicken wings too! She said give us 30 minutes and 30 minutes on the nose, I had food in hand and out the door! No pictures from this order since food in to go boxes are not that sexy and I had hangry diabetics in this group so maybe on our next visit. Food was awesome as usual and was extra special because we're celebrating our Coug! GO COUGS! And thanks to South Fork for always being a great place to be and have a nice meal.

There are places that say they treat their customers like they matter and those that actually do it. MC is in the latter category. Then there is the food. I can't remember what my wife ordered but I will never forget what I ordered. I ordered one of my favorites, biscuits and gravy with an over easy egg. You can tell how good the cook staff is by how they cook the eggs and how fresh their gravy tastes. MC Is as an A+ on both counts. But, the one thing I will remember was the fried chicken. My server recommended it as an add in and boy was she right. It was some of the best fried chicken I have ever had. The batter was super crispy and not greasy. The chicken, even though it was breast meat, was flavorful and juicy. It added the finishing touches to an amazing morning meal. I cannot recommend Mystic Cafe enough. I've always had great service at the bar. The only complaint I've heard was from a grad student we know who ordered multiple items and didn't realize they forgot his entree until everyone at the table was almost done eating. Thankfully the group had plenty to talk about so they didn't mind it being a long dinner. Finally... the drinks. The only regret I've had was ordering a beer when they have such a fantastic cocktail menu.
