Great everything - food, atmosphere, service, prices! Inside is very clean and casual. We were seated right away and ordered some seaweed salad and edamame to start. For my meal, I took the waitresses's recommendation and tried the garlic ramen. It was delicious and came in a very decent portion! Price was also very reasonable which is very difficult to find nowadays. Definitely plan on returning to try more things on their menu!

The place is chic & clean. Japanese cheesecake is like you get from Paris Baguette & just topped with whipped cream. Unagi Don's ratio of unagi/rice is a little off, too much rice so little unagi. It's really good though! Calamari (not pictured) is heavy on the breading, wish it wasn't like that. Service is fast! Gratuity for party of five is included in the bill.

One of my favorite restaurants in the Tri-Cities area. Its quality speaks fo itself and it's better than places in the north suburbs. Our favorites are their ramen & Pork don. Their sesame balls as an appetizer are incredible as well. The owner is so kind and service is always top notch. The ambiance is casual, a nicer drop in spot.

We were in the area making a delivery and had to give this Ramen restaurant a try! When you first walk in you notice how clean and new the restaurant looks, they have beautiful fabric umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. We ordered the calamari for an appetizer My husband ordered the T7 Tonkotsu Garlic Ramen I ordered the T2 Miso Ramen Everything was very flavorful and delicious! I highly recommend you give this place a try! Our waiter was so nice!

Very good ramen shop for the price. The service was quick, and the environment was clean and nicely laid out. Food wise, it was a bit unfortunate that appetizers were the best part of the meal. The sesame balls were crispy on the outside and nice moist filling on the inside. Crab Rangoon were crispy and nicely cooked, the dipping sauce was also very flavorful but a little too thick. Ramen did things right but was not quite up to standard. Only few things kept the review from a 5 for me. There were raw chunks of garlic in the ramen, and egg was hard-boiled rather than soft-boiled.

Went again to try the non ramen dishes - we started with the sesame balls as an appetizer which were delicious! They're filled with red bean paste which I love. I got the tonkotsu don (pork) the main entree - another person in my group got the unagi don - everything tasted super fresh (especially the meat!) The owners are very sweet, attentive, efficient, and professional and the ambiance is cute. I love this place!

Stopped by today for lunch and ordered the Tonkotsu Classic ramen, with fried oysters and edamame to start. Delicious ramen and the pork was perfectly soft and tender, it also had a nice smoky flavor. The fried oysters were crispy on the outside and buttery soft inside and did not taste like they were bought frozen and then fried. It tasted as if they battered and fried them to order. Great ramen restaurant and excellent, friendly service again. Very happy it's ramen season and this place is so close to home!

Rumor has it Buddha got his belly from eating Ton Ichi Ramen because he couldn't get enough -- I couldn't either. The service was top notch. I truly felt loved and cared for at this wonderful establishment. Dripped in black and gold with custom art on the walls, it felt like I was in a royal Asian palace. Everyone in the world should fly to St. Charles at least once to try this historic, remarkable ramen. In cold weather, the Ramen will warm you right up. In hot weather the appetizers and other dishes are just as amazing. Make sure to order extra eggs because they are to die for.

This is a cute little place. The service was attentive and the food was great. The noise level was a little high even though it was not crowded. I had the spicy chicken ramen and the spice level was perfect. We were there for lunch so I'd like to come back when more hungry and try some of the appetizers.

A little closer to home than the cluster of ramen restaurants in Schaumburg, Ton Ichi is a nice find that I hope to come back to in the near future. We were having a family get together after a dance recital, and decided on this place since it was pretty close. We ordered a few appetizers - pork dumplings, edamame, calamari, and, uhh... french fries? All of these were cooked well, *even the french fries*, which, well, isn't something you really expect at a ramen restaurant. Once everyone was there, food came out very quickly. Everyone else got ramen of some sort (plain chicken noodle for the kids, otherwise miso-based for the other adults) but I was in the mood for an unagi don. This was perfect. The rice was chopstick-perfect, steamed broccoli, was... broccoli, but the eel was cooked perfectly and slathered in sticky, thick (but not too thick) savory sauce. Basically everything I wanted in a late lunch. Next time I'll probably get ramen like usual, but if you decide to go off the beaten path, you won't go wrong here.

We had a fabulous dining experience at Ton Ichi Ramen! First of all, the space might be small and located in a strip mall, but the interior is an entire vibe and makes for an elevated, gourmet feel. The employees were very kind, attentive, and accommodating to our group, adhering to special requests and allowing us to peruse the menu at our own speed. The Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen was delicious! The noodles were nice and chewy and complemented the umami broth nicely. There could have been a little more tofu and broccoli for the $16 price, however, and it really wasn't as spicy as I had hoped. Still, it was a great meal with leftovers!

Really great place. The ambiance is fantastic with a great color scheme and layout. We had the fried calamari and pork gyoza to start. Both were great. Then we had the Kimchi Spicy and Rich Garlic. Tons of noodles and really great flavor. The service was fantastic as well, very pleasant and checked in to see how everything was. All in all this is a solid choice.

The ube cheesecake didn't have the blueberries on there, as the photos suggested it would, but still tasted great. The chocolate peanut butter cake was also good, but wasn't considered a favorite. Our server Ayden was helpful and got our food out quickly. His service was pretty good and he was friendly. This was lively for a night that was -10 Fahrenheit! It was so busy, so that tells you it's a great restaurant, and I agree.

It took about half an hour to get our food. We enjoyed watching Deal or No Deal on the TV while we waited lol. The guys working were really friendly, brought our food to us and even asked us how we liked the food. I would probably only order takeout from here in the future because they had those orders ready on time. I ordered the 6 piece boneless wing combo, which comes with fries and (possibly?) a drink. I did not realize that I could only choose one or the other for the combo: a drink or side of sauce. While ordering on the kiosk, I selected cheese sauce and it replaced my drink because they were under the same category of options, which I didn't even notice. Although I felt like it was my fault for not double-checking, I still don't think a tiny container of sauce is a fair drink substitute... oh well. Another thing to note is that online when placing an order/viewing the menu, it says the combo comes with a 20oz bottle of soda even though they only had 12oz cans in stock. I think these discrepancies could easily be fixed, and might prevent some confusion/disappointment among future customers. I appreciate that they gave me two extra wings because the boneless are somewhat tiny. For my sauce on the wings, I chose to try the Buldak-Gochujang and it was a little sweet with a hint of spice. The plain fries were just okay. They offer a bunch of different topping options for the fries, which I might be interested in trying next time.
