We just tried Domo Sushi and came away seriously impressed. Their AYCE is $26 for lunch or $32 for dinner, and considering the quality and huge selection, it's a fantastic value. This isn't one of those AYCE menus where you get a handful of basic rolls and everything interesting costs extra. There's a huge array of appetizers, nigiri, basic and specialty rolls, plus dessert. I also REALLY appreciated the picture guide for the specialty rolls; with that many choices, actually seeing what you're ordering is incredibly helpful. We started with fried octopus balls, gyoza, fried scallops, and shumai before moving on to five rolls: Godzilla, Volcano, Rainbow, Super Crunchy, and Spider. Everything tasted fresh, was beautifully presented, and had enough variety in flavors and textures that nothing felt repetitive or like cheap AYCE filler. Naturally, we still found room for fried Oreos and ice cream for dessert. Because apparently four appetizers and five rolls weren't enough. Service was excellent; fast, friendly, and attentive, with food coming out at a great pace. The restaurant itself is bright, clean, and inviting, with warm wood, colorful booths, Japanese parasols, and cherry-blossom accents. Fun and contemporary without feeling overly upscale. For $26 at lunch or $32 at dinner, Domo delivers a LOT for the money. Great sushi, tons of choices, excellent service, and a fun atmosphere. Came and got pretty good sushi from this place in St. Charles. Domo Sushi is a pretty nice restaurant but it's still casual enough. It has a pretty big menu of sushi and other things. Has okay prices on most items. The most popular thing is the all you can eat, which is pretty expensive but worth it if you're hungry enough to eat a lot. Basic looking from the outside but it's the good that makes it better. It's got plenty of booths and tables inside. They're also family friendly and have a kids menu. Good prices on a lot. It's about $7 for a roll. We got a few including the AAC and the Avocado Rolls. Of course many people get the all you can eat. That's what it's best known for and it's available all times. It's about $30 so you better be hungry. Worth it if one is able to eat tons of it though. A few rolls were enough for us, so we made a good choice. The rest of the menu featured noodles and other Asian favorites. For sure it's one of the best places for sushi around here. It's closed Mondays. For me, the lunch pricing for AYCE is worth it ($24.99), but the dinner pricing is pushing it ($32.99). But I can usually put down 4 specialty rolls, maybe 5, which average about $15 here. So if I think about it that way, I'm getting $60-75 worth of sushi for $25, and honestly at that point, even the dinner price is good. We ordered takeout from here as well, and everything was delicious. I will definitely be back here again to try to eat my weight in sushi, AYCE is the way to go. As it was our first time, the server explained everything for the all you can eat. The menu had so many options so we were super excited to get to eating. This doesn't look like much from the outside, as it sits in a strip mall on a busy road. Inside, however, is quite nice and very clean. They have several TVs and the weekday I too my son for lunch, they had tennis playing. They have a bar (not sit-doen though) and offer some nice drinks, though I didn't try any (weekday, lunch). They offer all-you-can-eat for $24.99 per person. We both ordered miso soup and then shared spring rolls (good) and dumplings (very good). We also ordered four different rolls: American Dream, Yummy Yummy, Sunny and Spicy Tuna. All were generous portions and very fresh. Personally, I liked the Spicy Tuna best. My son like the Yummy Yummy best. We were going to order more, but we were already full. A pretty good AYCE sushi restaurant in St Charles! The fish was okay! You can expect too much for an AYCE sushi place in the burbs. If you're a maki lover- this place is for you. I went here for my birthday this last December-- the service was excellent! Very attentive staff despite the party size. Beautiful interior, I love the floral seats near the windows-- and a nice clean look overall. Most of the rolls are great, some are just ok-- same goes with the appetizers. Service has always been good and the ambience depends on day and time. Having been here a few times, my only challenge is that their menu is heavy on shellfish, fried, and only white rice. If you want shellfish (crab, shrimp, lobster, etc) it's in almost every roll so you'll like it. But there's only four main rolls that don't contain shellfish and two of the three contain spicy tuna, and one is deep fried. Given the assortment of fish, they should consider redoing their menu to bring variety, especially in a Make America Healthy Again way. It reminds me another fast food place with sushi flavor. I don't even know where to start: the restaurant did not have any vegetables to serve with the sashimi selection. My wife and I tried here tonight. The decor inside is amazing! The service is fast and extremely friendly. They have a full menu and drink list. Wife got a jalapeño margarita that was awesome.
