So friendly. Tasty. Will be coming back. The all you can eat includes most of the menu.

fried oreos

My Fiancé and I went here for date night to try it out ! We love sushi and have been in the hunt for a good spot near us , so glad to see one in south elgin! This place has the best ambiance and such a nice set up . Our server Andy was so so nice and super patient with us. The all you can eat was sooo worth it , we went for dinner for the $32 AYCE and I got a roll ajd some apps. With everything we got I was beyond satisfied . Quick service and super attentive servers. I loved all of it ! We will be back :))

Great service and the people at the counter helped me pick what should be in my bowl because it's a bit overwhelming. Amazing amount of sauces and toppings to choose from. I came in tonight and the girl was sitting beneath the counter, I didn't even see her until I walked in and she stood up from her seat behind the rice pot. She may have been taking a nap? She seemed bothered that I walked in. I ordered two build your own bowls with white sushi rice. She filled the first to the brim, had to squeeze the lid onto the top. Very skimpy on the sauce, she was using it like an eye dropper to make sure not to fully squeeze the bottle for some reason. Then the second bowl had almost all the same ingredients of the first bowl, but she only filled halfway. She started to put the lid on and I stopped her, I wasn't happy she only gave me half the amount of food as the first bowl, I told her to just top it off with lettuce. She slowly placed leaf by leaf into the bowl until it filled up, did not add anymore sauce or dressing so the salad on top was dry. Not sure if she was high or stoned or just moving in slow motion, but she definitely made the whole experience unpleasant. No apology, no explanation, not even any eye contact. No tip either. I'll tip when the service is good

The poblano cream sauce on the chicken was SO GOOD and just the right spice/heat level. Perfectly cooked asparagus and homemade mashed potatoes made me understand why this was labeled as a "best seller". I'll definitely order it again. The chorizo and Oaxaca cheese with spinach inside was also a great combo with the very juicy chicken breast. Can't wait to order again!

Stand outs were the flaming tequila saganaki appetizer, kiddie mocktail options, and tons of hot options like Chile rellenos, tacos, elotes, and burritos. My kids didn't really like the mac and cheese (stating it was tooooo cheesy), but it looked decent and used cavatappi noodles. My $12 carnitas burrito was a great deal and enough for 2 meals. Our $100 bill covered: - a frozen mango margarita (towers, which are equivalent of 5 margaritas, are available too) - cosmo martini - saganaki appetizer lit up table side - elotes tamales - carnitas burrito - 2 kids' meals - complimentary chips and salsa - tax and 20% tip Service was extremely attentive and pleasant! Recommending this to all, and can't wait to go back when in the area! Adios!

I grabbed drinks with friends here on a Thursday night and we had our pick of the seats. Luckily my friend, who has been here before, grabbed us seats by the center fire place and we were able to enjoy the atmosphere; chill and, despite the aesthetic, not western-in-your-face. In fact, we were seated as some super comfy leather couches. Sure, it has some special experiences (the bathrooms are slightly confusing the first time) but I thought everything was very well done. The menu has a little bit of everything, from cocktails to beers, small plates to entrees. Again, we only had drinks but my "Campfire" cocktail was tasty (but a bit sweet). I was slightly dismayed that they were all out of both sour beers as well... oh well. For what we were looking for, a chill spot to catch up and imbibe, this place hit the mark perfectly. If you've never been then it's worth checking out.
