The food here is usually amazing, always tastes great, but depending on who's working behind the counter, the experience is not amazing at all. I came in tonight and the girl was sitting beneath the counter, I didn't even see her until I walked in and she stood up from her seat behind the rice pot. She may have been taking a nap? She seemed bothered that I walked in. I ordered two build your own bowls with white sushi rice. She filled the first to the brim, had to squeeze the lid onto the top. Very skimpy on the sauce, she was using it like an eye dropper to make sure not to fully squeeze the bottle for some reason. Then the second bowl had almost all the same ingredients of the first bowl, but she only filled halfway. She started to put the lid on and I stopped her, I wasn't happy she only gave me half the amount of food as the first bowl, I told her to just top it off with lettuce. She slowly placed leaf by leaf into the bowl until it filled up, did not add anymore sauce or dressing so the salad on top was dry. Not sure if she was high or stoned or just moving in slow motion, but she definitely made the whole experience unpleasant. No apology, no explanation, not even any eye contact. No tip either. I come to this location often and really enjoy the food and have recently started to experience issues when ordering my bowls in person. I would ask for extra protein and they either wouldn't give it to me or would give me half a scoop which is only like 4 ish pieces of protein. Tonight when I went to order extra chicken, the guy gave me the normal 1 and 1/2 scoops of protein and told me that extra protein was gonna be an additional $3. I said that was fine and that he could give me the extra protein. When I went to check out, to my surprise it was $6 for extra protein and not $3 like he had said earlier. When I confronted him about it, he said that it was because I got an additional scoop of protein. He wouldn't budge and I didn't feel like causing a scene so I just paid and left. I'm usually a loyal customer, keychain and everything, but consistent experiences like this make it hard to want to continue to be a loyal customer. read more

Quick and delicious poke!! Everything looked fresh and tasted the part too. You get to choose from a variety of proteins, veggies, toppings, and sauces to complement. They also have some preset bowls for you to select from, and you can add/substitute as you like to adjust. I chose the Johnny Utah and got spicy salmon instead, and my boyfriend got the High Tide without corn and had some other modifications. The bowls are a great size; I even couldn't finish my entire bowl at once. The environment was spotless, and the music gave a nice casual vibe. Loved everything about this place! read more

Stopped in for lunch, seeking something a little more on the healthy side. This place is located in the strip mall on the NW corner of Randall and McDonald, right next to the Chipotle. I started at Chipotle and the line was a mile long, so I went next door to Poke Bros. Not a fan of raw fish, but they have vegetarian and cooked fish options. I opted for the High Tide bowl, with no chicken (extra shrimp) and "sushi rice". Sushi rice is white rice with a splash of vinegar. The High Tide bowl came with cooked shrimp, edamame, corn, avocado, carrots, green onion, cucumber, pineapple and rice. I had them add some mango as well. The bowl was fresh, flavorful, and tasty. Loved the OG sauce and the sweet soy sauce. The only issue I encountered was the noise. There was music playing and had a hard time hearing or understanding the workers. A fantastic alternative to the usual fast food. I'll definitely be back! read more

We've ordered from here a few times and love it. Every single time the food has been fresh and everyone loved their meal, even the picky members of our family. One of my kids isn't a fan of seafood, but it all works out because there are non-seafood protein options. When trying to explain it to one of my kids I said it's like if chipotle made unwrapped sushi bowls. I like creating a bowl and using a salad base, there's a lot of different options for add-ins, proteins, and topping, and it's vegan and vegetarian friendly. The mochi balls are awesome. Salted caramel is to die for. Delivery has always been super quick, and I love that it's a healthy option that everyone can enjoy. They got it almost right.... While what I ordered was a custom bowl and they got the requested ingredients correct, they forgot the sauce. The part that would blend the bowl and make it complete. RUN...DO NOT WALK to this place...they need to be more quick stop restaurants like this. The poke bowls are out of this world delicious and fresh. If you are looking for a healthy but quick place for lunch or dinner this is a great spot. They offer both cooked and raw protein options and a great selection of fruits and veggies to include in your bowl. Lots of variety. It's like chipotle but better cause ITS POKE!!! Terrible customer service. This is my home location, and I've never been impressed compared to other Pike Bros, but today they were downright rude. I accidentally ordered there instead of the location by work. When I called them to ask if I could get the order transferred over to the Schaumburg location, the manager said no. When I asked him go cancel the order, he hung up on me. I'm a teacher, so I don't have a flexible lunch schedule. This left me without a lunch and with $21 stolen. Lots of other great Poke Bros locations. Avoid! read more

My girlfriend and I had never had poke, but we love going out for sushi so we thought we'd give it a try. It's become one of our favorite places to grab a quick lunch. Great variety of ingredients and everything tastes amazing. I always build my own bowl and have loved everything I've tried. They also have mochi for a little dessert after your bowl. If you're not super familiar with all the ingredients the staff is more than happy to explain. They also have bowls that they have picked ingredients for that you can order if you're not sure what would go good together. Love this place, they've gained a regular out of me. read more
