I needed to cool off while getting my roots done so strolled into poke to cool off and ordered a cold creamy dreamy mango drink . It really hit the spot . The bowls are also good here . It's a little chill spot in deer park shopping mall that has prompt service and a cool atmosphere read more

Poke Bowl - Mango milk tea - Poke Near Me - Algonquin, Illinois

This is a nice, simple, unassuming place. The owners seem to be here all the time. I see the same family every time I am in. When they first opened, they were super generous and upbeat when building your bowl. I think over time it became too much with people asking to add more and more, because she didn't really encourage and kept a stoic look. So I didn't press. The bowls priced here are comparable to other local places... $14-$16. They have burritos and those are $15+. The appetizers are like $7+, so it's a little more expensive than fast food, but I would argue that it's much healthier and worth the added cost. They also have a punch card, so buy 10 bowls and get the 11th free. This time, my wife and I both got a spicy salmon bowl and it was great as usual. We will be back. read more

Very fresh ingredients and fast ordering for pick up. The #1 Classic Hawaiian Poké Bowl is made with the freshest ingredients and full of flavor with a generous portion of ahi tuna, rice, seaweed salad and fresh cucumber and onion. I also ordered a side of shrimp tempura because I wanted some crunch on the side. It is a nice add on with the poke' bowl. This meal was very filling and enough to share or spread to a second meal. Our meal to-go was packaged with great care. I want to try one of the burritos next time. read more

The food was sopping wet on my most recent order but this was after I complained because the last time I ordered from here they forgot the sauce all together. I would not return here as it feels like they sabotaged my order on purpose because they didn't like that I called them out on messing up my order from the prior visit. Very petty and disappointing, plus they are fairly expensive....so over priced food that isn't edible, no thanks. I will not be returning here. read more

Poke Bowl is solid suburban sushi. Consisting of fresh flavors and a convenient, quick option. The bowls have nice balance overall, though they can lean a little rice-heavy and light on fish, with authenticity taking a back seat. Still, a dependable spot when you're craving something fast and flavorful. read more

Very sweet staff, gave me and my boyfriend free bottles of water. The poke bowls are a good size and they give you plenty of fish, way more than other poke places I've been to. The salmon was very fresh without any strong fishy smell or taste read more

The most fresh poke bowl I've had. Family is very nice and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Great poke place! I go here regularly and love it. Great value, great quality and great service. Would love more support for this business read more

We came here on a weekend early evening and had dinner in the small but nicely decorated restaurant. There are 6 tables available to sit at in the front and you order in the back with the large TV menus clearly explaining all the dishes. You order and pay first, and if you eat there, they will serve the food to you. The staff and owner were very friendly, and had added some items on the house which were greatly appreciated! They just opened one week ago and with all the people stopping by and getting take out already, it's sure to be a hit! The food itself was great. We got the starters of fried calamari which was honestly the best cooked (melt in your mouth and not chewy/over cooked) I've had in the area! We also enjoyed the sesame balls and the waffle fries. For entrees I loved that the sushi burrito was a great size and not overly filled with rice. The seafood we had was fresh and delicious. In total 3 starters, 2 entrees came to about $50 not including tip. Happy to see this new casual restaurant in the area and we will definitely be back! read more

I LOVE this place...the fish is fresh and it's a mom & pop shop :). It's my paycheck meal treat. The bowls are large enough I have lunch for two days and I enjoy that I can customize. They also have a punch card so after 10 orders you get a free meal....support local businesses!!!! read more

I got food poisoning from this place, never going there again. Service was great just did not give me good food .

I love this restaurant. Not only are they leaps and bounds above any other poke restaurant I've been to in terms of quality and taste (outside of Hawaii) but they match that with friendly service and kindness. My daughter and I eat here at least once a week and it never gets old! We highly recommend!!! read more

Excellent service, food, and experience. The owners take pride in their product and preparation. Whether I am eating in or taking food to go, the owners always add a special touch of some sort. Today we got a free order of sesame balls and the kids got ramune! Such lovely people and excellent food. This is a favorite of my family. read more

Dropped in for lunch with my son and we had Hawaiian Signature Bowls. He had a large Spicy Salmon and I had the Hawaiian Classic. Service was fast and courteous. The price was nice and the food was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the nautical ambiance as well. This storefront operation has ample parking and is located on the North-facing side of the L-shaped mall where Jewel/Osco is located (near the UPS store). This is now my favorite local poke! I look forward to trying their other offerings as well. read more

Poke Bowl - 2 regular bowls, and waffle fries, I've been here 10 times, and every time is just as good, very thankful for this business, God bless them - Poke Near Me - Algonquin, Illinois

This one isn't clean and Durant give you generous portions. Try the one in south Elgin instead

Solid poke spot. Good amount of protein, fresh ingredients. I don't know how I choose one spot over another, there's 3 in close proximity. I like some of their signature bowls here better, where at others I make my own creations. Those suggested/signature combos are pretty good, or have me sold so far. I'm still exploring the menu, but haven't been disappointed by anything I've tried so far. It's let me try new things and get ingredients I might not pick on my own but go really well together. I'm stuck in make your own bowl mode at the other spot I go. I guess that's how I decide which spot to choose, it's whether I want something new or if I want my regular thing. read more

SO YUMMY!!! The owner & staff are so friendly. Today was my second time there in the past 3 weeks (I will probably be back again this week ) because I cannot get enough of the crab & spicy crab. Every ingredient tastes fresh. Spring rolls were good too! I want this business to thrive/succeed so please give it a try!! You won't regret it. I already can't wait to go back read more

We discovered Poke Bowl in Algonquin for the first time and enjoyed it! The best part is their wide selection- from ramen, to poke bowls, to fried noodles, you'll find something for everyone! I did a make-your-own poke bowl. It was pretty good. I think it was the rice I didn't love. If it was a little fresher, it would've been perfect. The toppings were good, though! I would've asked for extra sauce, too. I recommend checking this place out. read more

As a "foodie" I couldn't wait for a new non chain to open up in Algonquin! Feels like it's hard to find somewhere that takes PRIDE in their food. Not here!! Irene welcomed me right away and was very helpful with their menu as there's options for EVERYONE! Not just Pokè options. Fish was extremely fresh and top star home made sauces to top your bowl or burrito with. HIGHLY Recommend you give Poké Bowl a try. -Inside is very clean and has a fun feel to it. The appetizers are really bad. I'm fairly certain they are all just cheap frozen ones from the store, because the veggie egg rolls are identical to the Aldi ones, and the crab Rangoon was some of the worst crab Rangoon I've ever had. Curdled cheese, almost no crab. Tasted very very old and stale. read more

Tried it for the first time a couple of days ago based on positive reviews on Yelp. In my opinion, it was a let down. I ordered Tuna poke bowl and its taste was not reflective of its high price. Taste was at best just OK. Don't know if I will go back anytime soon. read more

This was an interesting experience. Very good flavors and fish, really like the idea of the burrito...it's like you're eating a giant sushi roll. Awesome poke bowl! Fresh, good portion, friendly staff! I'm a frequent Poke Bros customer and have no complaints with them but something about this place beats it! We tried Poke Bowl for the first time today and it was fantastic! We each created our own bowl and all the ingredients were very fresh! My partner had 5 different sea food items in his bowl and he said the quality and flavor was really great! I'm very picky about chicken quality and tofu and I have to say both were delicious! We also had an order of crab Rangoon and spring rolls - both very, very good! I wish I had remembered to take photos, but we ate EVERY bite! Highly recommend this place! It's priced competitively with a certain chain, but the ingredients and flavor are much higher quality IMO. Staff was very friendly as well. 10/10! read more
