All I needed was my rear bumper fixed. They told me it shouldn't take more than a day or two. That it was such an easy fix. So I booked my appointment and made sure I got a ride for work for the two days that it would take to fix. Two days turned into over a week. I was the one who had to call for any kind of updates. With every call Lisa would reassure me that Ron would give me a callback with an update of my car. NO ONE ever called! I kept explaining to her that no one ever calls me and her excuse was that "yeah they suck at calling people back." Which I found to be very unprofessional. However, what made matters worse was when my car was actually ready. Ron blamed Lisa for not having my car ready. Stating that they got swamped with other peoples vehicles and had basically forgotten about mine. I understand any business getting busy however, I booked an appointment, and called persistently about my vehicle. There is no excuse why it took as long as it did. Clearly a lack of communication within the work environment. The work itself. A few air bubbles and a piece from the bottom right side of my rear bumper is sticking out. Also the paint looks a tad darker than the rest of my car. Definitely not what I wanted for the time that it was supposedly getting worked on. read more

I needed a rear hatch replaced. Went in, received the estimate with the agreement the part would be in stock on Monday and to "bring the vehicle in Monday after 9a." Great, I have to set up a time when someone can take me to drop off the vehicle and return me home. I do this. Monday morning I'm at the FRONT of the shop and the doors are locked. Ok, maybe it's for safety. I peer through the glass, no one was stirring, not even a mouse. Now I have to call and cancel the pick up and drop off, and I'm not in the mood to sit in a hot car waiting for the office to open. And when I call to explain why I didn't come in for the repair, I'm advised "that I should have walked through the side gate." No. What should have happened was there should have been someone in the front office with unlocked doors at 9:30a Monday morning ready for business. I understand, I know. This company has the service contract with the State, they don't need my piddling $200. I received the message loud and clear. read more

Art at Tom's Auto Body is terrific! He made the process as painless as possible. In fact I originally found this place via Yelp. Thanks fellow Yelpers!! I wanted to get ran estimate from a couple of different places and do Tom's Auto Body was my firsts stop. I spoke to Art and he gave me all the info I needed basically from what would need to be replaced and looked at (e.g. Wheel alignment) to what I should say to My auto insurance to speed up the repair process. Needless to say, I was so impressed with my first meeting with Art that I decided to forego getting a second opinion and just stuck with them. Mind you this all happened on a Friday. A car accident is never a pleasant experience. However, getting my car fixed at Tom's made what could have been awful a whole lot better! They were able to get my car in the same day I called. Art was sympathetic and helpful. I had the estimate the next day and the insurance approval to do the work in a few days. Art kept me informed during the repair process. When he told me the repairs were a few days from being done, I asked him to repair some trim that was not damaged in the accident. When I picked up the car, he would not accept payment for the trim from me. The car looked great! You would never be able to tell it was in an accident. It was also washed and polished. And even though there was no interior damage, it the was cleaner inside than it has been in years. I would never take a car needing body work anywhere else! read more

Accident Sunday, referred to Toms on Monday to have frame straightened, steering gear box replaced. Four days of hot air and empty promises. Finally, they put the truck up on the lift for the adjustor and show the adjustor 3K in cosmetics, never address the steering issue at all! I notified State Farm, the shop that referred me to him, and moved my vehicle to Sainz Auto Body & Collision, where I should have taken it in the first place. read more
