Tom's Auto Body is a company that still provides fair Price, good Quality and exceptional Service - Art and Ron go beyond the norm and refresh the old school business model of taking care of the customer - probably the reason they have been in business for three generations and sixty years... Highly recomended, Brett H. read more

Ron was very helpful and his customer service is amazing. They repaired my work Tahoe and returned it looking like a brand new vehicle even after just repairing the rear bumper. Great job guys. Amazing work! read more

My out-of-state college student banged up her car and needed to have repairs done by an auto body shop approved by our insurance. We were fortunate enough to work with Tom's Auto Body, Inc for so many reasons. 1. They were so communicative 2. They were fair and easy to work with. 3. They went above and beyond to make sure the car wasn't just repaired but was in the best condition possible. 4. They were so personable and knew who I was and what car I was talking about every time. 5. Last, but not least, the owner of the shop treated my child as if she were his own and sent us a thank you note for giving them our business. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Thank you to Ren, Art Tom and the whole team for giving me peace of mind knowing you were taking care of my child's car 2300 miles read more

My wife's Toyota Venza got hit by a red-light runner. This is her "Baby" and she was devastated. I knew Tom's Auto Body would do a good job because I have seen the work they did on my bosses and their children's cars in the past. Even though I live about 25 miles from Tom's we took the car there. After meeting with Ron, we decided on a date to bring it in for repairs and my wife and I are so glad we did. Besides being professional and courteous Ron made us feel at home. He handled all the paperwork with the adjuster and kept me informed on progress. When we picked the car up it was better than new. The color match was spot on and we're talking hard to match pearl. All the gaps were perfect and they gave the car a fantastic detail job as well. I want to thank everyone at Tom's for an excellent job. I'd give this a ten star rating if it were able to do. I highly recommend Tom's Auto Body to anyone needing body work done to their vehicle, large or small job. read more

All I needed was my rear bumper fixed. They told me it shouldn't take more than a day or two. That it was such an easy fix. So I booked my appointment and made sure I got a ride for work for the two days that it would take to fix. Two days turned into over a week. I was the one who had to call for any kind of updates. With every call Lisa would reassure me that Ron would give me a callback with an update of my car. NO ONE ever called! I kept explaining to her that no one ever calls me and her excuse was that "yeah they suck at calling people back." Which I found to be very unprofessional. However, what made matters worse was when my car was actually ready. Ron blamed Lisa for not having my car ready. Stating that they got swamped with other peoples vehicles and had basically forgotten about mine. I understand any business getting busy however, I booked an appointment, and called persistently about my vehicle. There is no excuse why it took as long as it did. Clearly a lack of communication within the work environment. The work itself. A few air bubbles and a piece from the bottom right side of my rear bumper is sticking out. Also the paint looks a tad darker than the rest of my car. Definitely not what I wanted for the time that it was supposedly getting worked on. read more

These guys are professionals. They do everything by the book and use quality replacement parts. OMG! The gentlemen at this shop are AMAZING! You KNOW you are going to a FANTASTIC, TRUSTWORTHY, and IMPECCABLE shop when you see MCSO Sheriff's SUV's (the real deal, not a recycled used ones) in there for repairs! I will not take my trusty, ever so loved 2001 original Jeep Wrangler (JASPER!) anywhere else! I have owned Jasper since he was brand new. And HUGE shout out to Art Ocano! They even let me store a cake in their refrigerator! Talk about service and kindness! THANK YOU!!! On a sadder note, I wish I would have taken pictures!!! Go check them out! I live in Mesa, and they are in South Phoenix, but TOTALLY worth the drive or tow! read more

I needed a rear hatch replaced. Went in, received the estimate with the agreement the part would be in stock on Monday and to "bring the vehicle in Monday after 9a." Great, I have to set up a time when someone can take me to drop off the vehicle and return me home. I do this. Monday morning I'm at the FRONT of the shop and the doors are locked. Ok, maybe it's for safety. I peer through the glass, no one was stirring, not even a mouse. Now I have to call and cancel the pick up and drop off, and I'm not in the mood to sit in a hot car waiting for the office to open. And when I call to explain why I didn't come in for the repair, I'm advised "that I should have walked through the side gate." No. What should have happened was there should have been someone in the front office with unlocked doors at 9:30a Monday morning ready for business. I understand, I know. This company has the service contract with the State, they don't need my piddling $200. I received the message loud and clear. read more

Took my 1999 F250 super duty in for repaint on pick up bed. They did an excellent job matching the 24-year-old original paint. Very straight and clean job. Received the truck back cleaner than when I took it in. They did exactly what we discussed and more. They even sent a card to thank me for my business. An old school proper way to treat a customer for my business with them. A big thanks to Art and Ron for all the help. read more

These guys are great, made a perfect repair on my front bumper. They handled everything with my insurance, and did everything at a reasonable price. Some of the clips came off a few months later probably from me parking too close to the curb and Ron remembered me when I walk through the door and got them fixed right away. More than what I expected from any auto body shop. I appreciate the care and authenticity in this long time Phoenix based business. read more

My son and I stopped into Tom's Auto body on 7/2/2015 and met Art. We explained what we needed repaired. Art offered a free estimate and would call me with the details. He called about an hour later and offered a fair price to fix our loose front bumper. He ordered the parts and had the car ready for us to pick up later that day. I found Tom's Auto Body from the Yelp reviews and I am so glad I did. Great place to do busy and it was really great working with Art. He made the whole process easy for me. I will be referring business your way. Thanks MzSage read more

Art at Tom's Auto Body is terrific! He made the process as painless as possible. In fact I originally found this place via Yelp. Thanks fellow Yelpers!! I wanted to get ran estimate from a couple of different places and do Tom's Auto Body was my firsts stop. I spoke to Art and he gave me all the info I needed basically from what would need to be replaced and looked at (e.g. Wheel alignment) to what I should say to My auto insurance to speed up the repair process. Needless to say, I was so impressed with my first meeting with Art that I decided to forego getting a second opinion and just stuck with them. Mind you this all happened on a Friday. The following Monday I dropped off my vehicle after getting it cleared with my insurance. From there, Art kept me posted only vehicle status. They quoted my three weeks for the repair and I got it back in two. I HIGHLY recommend Tom's Auto Body!!! You will not be disappointed. My vehicle looks brand new and it is covered as long as I own the vehicle. read more

Quality work, great customer service. wouldn't go anywhere else!

Ron and crew did a flawless job on my Subaru! My previous experience with body shops had been terrible. This industry does not always treat women well. However, Ron put me at ease by never talking down to me and listening to my needs. The repair came in exactly as quoted and was done when Ron promised. The car looked brand new when I picked it up. It had been detailed to perfection and even smelled good! read more

I needed bodywork done on my car & after asking around my work mechanics all recommended me to see Ron at at Toms Auto Works. At first, I went to 4 other body shops with good ratings to get estimates and lastly Ron. Ron gave me the best bid so I went with him. His shop was very clean & professional. When I came to pick it up, I was extremely happy. They fixed it up better then it looked when I originally bought it!! And they washed and shined it :) I will def be back... I cannot say enough good things about Toms Repair. I have been going there for three years for any body work or repair on any of our cars.... I can't say I have been here more than four times, but I can say that they are helpful, friendly, and they turn what is normally considered a horrible experience of dealing with a shop into a pleasure. They are fair and always treat the client with respect and offer great pricing and good advice. read more

A car accident is never a pleasant experience. However, getting my car fixed at Tom's made what could have been awful a whole lot better! They were able to get my car in the same day I called. Art was sympathetic and helpful. I had the estimate the next day and the insurance approval to do the work in a few days. Art kept me informed during the repair process. When he told me the repairs were a few days from being done, I asked him to repair some trim that was not damaged in the accident. When I picked up the car, he would not accept payment for the trim from me. The car looked great! You would never be able to tell it was in an accident. It was also washed and polished. And even though there was no interior damage, it the was cleaner inside than it has been in years. I would never take a car needing body work anywhere else! read more

Accident Sunday, referred to Toms on Monday to have frame straightened, steering gear box replaced. Four days of hot air and empty promises. Finally, they put the truck up on the lift for the adjustor and show the adjustor 3K in cosmetics, never address the steering issue at all! I notified State Farm, the shop that referred me to him, and moved my vehicle to Sainz Auto Body & Collision, where I should have taken it in the first place. read more
