After my 2014 BMW 428I was in an accident, I was nervous about finding a quality, trustworthy shop. But the team here completely exceeded my expectations with the above and beyond quality of customer care and service. They handled everything with care and transparency. My vehicle was hit while parked during a weekend visit in Cottonwood in February. We weren't with the vehicle when it occurred so unfortunately couldn't find out who was responsible. It wasn't major damage, but the back bumper definitely needed replacement and I wanted it done sooner than later with driving around Phoenix. I looked into some local shops and the shop is extremely close to me, so it was very convenient. I also used the Yelp quote feature which gives a few shops your information and they give you a quote for repair. I decided to go with Guy's Body Shop and I'm very glad that I chose them. I worked with Adrian, he was extremely responsive and helpful. I initially called them to set up the consultation and they had an opening that same week but I went the next week due to work. After bringing the vehicle in, he gave me the quote, which I thought was very reasonable since I had my original quote from my insurance company to compare against. I went ahead and made a $500 deposit towards the parts they were ordering and agreed to bring my car back the next week. They stated if I dropped it off Monday morning I would get it back Wednesday or Thursday. Thankfully I was able to get it Wednesday, they close at 5:30 for pickups so it was enough time coming from work to get the vehicle. I paid the remainder of the bill at the time of pickup and everything was very smooth and easy! They also had washed my car! I really appreciated this experience being so positive since body work and car repairs in general can be stressful and expensive. Hit curb with front bumper & got dinged but worse was tabs that held edge of bumper to car along wheel well broken so bumper would slightly separate on edge of body & Have to press back in. Big dealer says entire bumper needs replaced so found Guy's auto body & they hammered out the dink but more importantly replaced attachments so car like before at fraction of cost. Thanks Guy! A friend of the owner who didn't have valid car insurance hit my car while it was parked. The shop was going to repair the car and work with him for payment. After over a month of excuses, I find out that they had a side deal going on. When I had enough and decided to turn it in to my insurance, my insurance didn't trust them and want to take it to their location to appraise it. The owner of Guy's wanted $2000 to release the car. I guess he wants to get paid whether he does the work or not. After refusing to give me the keys, I walked out to make a phone call to my insurance company. The owner had the nerve to throw my keys into the middle of the street. I have my car back, but it is missing parts such as the headlight. I didn't receive the honesty and integrity that I expected and, therefore, I will never go back. read more
