I was in the area and had to drop by for Tomo7's amazing 12th anniversary deals. 2 rolls for $16 or 3 rolls for $23 is even cheaper than grocery store sushi (and way more delicious). The lunch deal ends at 3, which I wasn't aware of when I went in at 2:20. Last call was at 2:30 so I quickly ordered 6 rolls. There was no wait and no one was in the restaurant. The server tried her best not to rush us but it was so obvious that they wanted us out, so we just scarfed everything down in 20 minutes and took the rest home, no biggie. I might just get takeout next time so I don't have to be such a menace. The rolls came with complimentary miso soup. The menu is pretty standard, nothing too inventive or "hip" (which I'm totally fine with! I don't need a viral K pop demon hunters roll with purple rice and edible gold or whatever). The Crazy Roll is my recommendation still; I love the idea of using crab in place of the rice. The rolls were all fresh, with very generously large cuts of fish. The tempura pieces were all freshly fried, nothing stale or cold. The sushi rice was lovely, nicely seasoned with individual grains still parsable. I had a great experience overall and would definitely recommend stopping by to make use of this awesome deal.

This place was actually good! We went around 5:00 pm and the food came out so fast! The restaurant was really clean and empty at the time we went. I must admit that the music was good, the service was great and the food was delicious! I wish the all you can eat came in half rolls so we can try more but it's okay. I would come here if you want a quick bite!

I stopped by around 5:00 PM and had no trouble finding parking at front of the restaurant. I was seated right away and decided to go with the $30 all-you-can-eat option. I ordered a few different sushi rolls, and my favorite by far was the Tom07 roll with 4 pieces. The other sushi was decent, though nothing especially memorable. One thing I noticed was that the slices were a little bigger than what I'm used to, so I got full pretty quickly. Because of that, I wish they offered half orders instead of only full orders, since it would make it easier to try a wider variety of sushi. By my fifth order, I was already too full to really explore more of the menu. Service was okay, quick and friendly overall. I did feel for the server because she was handling the dining room by herself when I arrived. It was quiet at first, but after about 30-40 minutes more people started coming in, and service understandably slowed down. I did notice one of the sushi chefs come out to help run food to tables, which was nice to see. Overall, a solid experience. Not perfect, but still enjoyable, and if I'm in the area again, I'd probably come back.

The rainbow roll and 911 roll are ok. Nothing amazing. The albacore roll idk what was in that, it was gray and disgusting and didn't bother eating it. The fish was tough and we refused to eat it. Scared we will get sick so we didn't even bother. Don't know how service is. But we ordered 4 rolls... 4 and they gave ONE soy sauce and NO WASABI. Idk how the ambiance is because we doordashed. We won't be coming back. We also got the chicken Teriyaki plate for my kids, the rice was so little, chicken looked old.

Good quality ayce at an affordable price! Quality was decent and there were some highlights. I loved the Tomo 7 roll, stuffed jalapeños, and salmon crunch roll. It was $30/person on a Friday night for AYCE. There was no wait and it was pretty empty. Good service and helpful staff. Would come again for an affordable date night!

I recently moved to Chino Hills and finally found this amazing restaurant! The atmosphere is great, there's plenty of seating, and it's a perfect place to come with kids as well. We ordered the garlic edamame, hamburger steak, sashimi, some sushi and shrimp tempura. Everythin was absolutely delicious. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the hamburger steak was soooo good. Great food, great service. Highly recommended!

This is my absolute favorite sushi spot. My fiancé and I come here a minimum of 2 times per week. The prices are insane! They have a deal for 3 rolls at $26. That can not be beat anywhere. And the food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is extremely friendly, they always recognize us when we come in and ask about how we're doing. I have made it a goal to try every single roll they have, but the golden tiger has so far been my favorite! Definitely worth a try if you live within 50 miles

Spot with AYCE option. Note that not everyone at the table needs to opt for AYCE. It was $30/pp as of June 2024. However, you are limited to three rounds and you will have to pay extra for any leftover food, so you must pace yourself. We came here around 6pm as a stop on the way back home from Palm Springs and got seated immediately. There was a good mix of cooked rolls and nigiri options along with a few other apps. Service was a bit slow but nice. Overall, a good spot when you're feeling extra hungry. read more

Date: 9/18/25 Order via DoorDash Time: Around 12pm Tomo7 has this promotion through the delivery app where it's buy 1 get 1 free for specific items. I got 2 orders of the BOGO golden California rolls and subbed crab meat for spicy crab meat. I have used this promotion many times in the past with the same exact adjustment and never got charged extra for it. I usually call the store and the girl always reconfirms the order for me. I thought today would be the same; guess I was completely wrong. Later after I ordered, I got an additional $18.20 charge without my authorization. I called to see what happened and the girl told me that it was an upcharge. She never told me about this up charge during the previous call. She then had me talk to someone else and he was pretty rude towards me regarding all of this. He had the audacity to tell me how "spicy crab meat" is way more expensive than "crab meat" when the only difference between the two is that the spicy version contained sciracha or some spicy paste. I do understand that adjusting orders can result to an upcharge however: 1) no one informed me of this charge prior to my order on the delivery app and on the phone when I called. If I knew upgrading from crab meat to spicy crab meat would result in my order total almost DOUBLING, I would've said no. Overall no prior disclosure of prices. 2) there was no sense of accountability from the establishment regarding of this; only thing I got was just reasoning and no sense of accommodation. I felt very disrespected through the call and felt like I was being lectured over the entire call. I used to order from them frequently via delivery app but based on this recent altercation; I believe I will be doing business elsewhere. read more

This is thee WORST sushi place I've ever been to. I could tell as soon as we walked in that the vibe was off but we tried it anyways because we were so hungry. *Not 1 person eating in there and it was during lunch hour- should've been our clue. Also, there's so many signs hanging at the front of the restaurant and throughout the inside of the restaurant, telling you what will happen if you do or don't do something while eating there (especially AYCE), that it made it a super uncomfortable experience. You feel like you're being watched and will get in trouble. We also had to ask 2 times for extra wasabi. Both the menu and tables were sticky and didn't feel clean. Now to the food- warm disgusting rice (didn't taste like sushi rice), and they give you so much of it with a warm sliver of fish on top. The lemonade tasted like trash water- so bad we were unable to drink it. Don't even get me started on the spicy mayo- what the hell even was that?!? It was bright red and was the strangest taste- no wonder they give you dry rolls and you have to ask for it. Cheap ingredients=cheap tasting food. Not worth $30 for AYCE. We ordered a roll w/shrimp tempura, and it tasted like the tempura was fried last week and put into the roll. It was just all around BAD. The only thing that was decent if I had to come up with something was the Edamame. Overall if you like bland, not fresh, feeling uncomfortable and not getting what you pay for- this place is for you! Will NEVER go back. read more

I did a phone order for NYE and got two special roll platters. For the rolls we got California, crunch, pacific, rainbow, hawaiian, ninja, galaxy, and 911 roll (we got 2 of each roll) The rice to fish ratio was perfect! The fish tasted fresh and we loved the sauces on the rolls that had some. It was an overall hit for lunch time, enough so that I'm already writing a review lol. All the employees were really sweet and helpful. Based off of this first experience, I will definitely be returning and have already recommended it to others! read more

I totally forgot the names of the items I got but the salmon rolled crab meat was my favorite along with the Salmon belly. the sushi roll i got was recommended by our waitress it was good although I wished that they had used a little less i'm assuming sesame oil in the sauce because the flavor of peanut was a bit overwhelming and overshadowed the flavor from the Salmon and Tuna :/ . When we arrived, it was packed and we were told there would be about a 20 minute wait after signing in, which we were fine with. Surprisingly, we were seated within about 5 minutes. Our waiter was amazing very attentive and on top of everything. The food came out in stages, which was actually great because it gave us time to enjoy one roll before the next arrived and kept the table from feeling crowded. The ambiance was perfect as well. This is definitely a new favorite!

Everything was perfect in terms of portion size, temperature, taste and texture. Even my niece who is a pickly toddler ate and enjoyed a california rol. Everyone in our group loved their sushi. Everything was presented very beautifully and the fish was all fresh. The rice to fish and filling ratio was perfect, no too much rice. We ended our meal with a fried green tea ice cream which was fantastic and perfect to split amongst the four of us after all the delicious food before it. We met the owner who was a really nice guy too. Really surprised to find a solid sushi spot in the middle of the Riverside. I would not mind returning here anytime I'm back in the area!

Visit this establishment recently this week and I was not disappointed. :) It's been hard for me to find a place with a good deal on rolls but taste deliciously fresh. This place did not disappoint with their phenomenal service. They have rolls specials on top of their AYCE. AYCE during lunch for $29.95 but they do close by 3PM for their break but open again at 5 for dinner time. They deserve it though because these rolls are delicious! I came in getting AYCE those 2pc sushi nigiri and additional I also got the 2pc sweet shrimp sushi for $9.95 SUPERR DELICIOUS. For service, I never really had a problem. The girls services was friendly and respectful with their absolute best as they do get really busy some days and there's usually only 2 servers that takes care of everything. Very enjoyable! I think this is my new favorite place. My boyfriend and I came here last Friday for dinner and were seated immediately. Our server was nice and efficient. The only thing I didn't like was that when I asked about menu items, he said he's never eaten here before and that he's new-only been working there for 4 weeks. Um.. 4 weeks is a lot of time to try the menu buddy... I digress, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt because he's probably still learning his way around the restaurant business. The food was great so that makes up for any let downs previously stated. I particularly liked the sunrise roll and the tataki roll (or something like that). They were great! Worst sushi I've ever had & I will never go back. I had three different rolls, two of them were mediocre but had no raw fish on them. The third one, the Aloha roll, had albacore on top & spicy tuna inside & it was awful (mind you, albacore is my favorite, spicy tuna a close second). When the server brought it out, the fish already looked like it was subpar in terms of quality & it tasted even worse. Once I tasted one piece of the Aloha roll, I tried my two orders of albacore nigiri in hopes of redemption. Unfortunately, the albacore nigiri was just as awful. When I told the server I didn't like either of them, she was only able to remove the nigiri & I was stuck paying for a roll that was inedible to my standards of taste. I went today about dinner time with my friend. we found out this restaurant has wonderful promotion called all you can eat sushi rolls for 13.99. And this is AMAZING deal since I saw one of the roll item costs like 14.99 or something like that. For 13. 99 you get to eat as many as you want. Just remember to finish them all. They might charge you. While we were eating foods we thought about the regular dinner price and lunch price if it was good deal still without the promotion. And yessss we came up with the conclusion even if this restaurant ends promotion we will still come. Very clean, and I really liked the ways rolls came out too. I shall visit again! read more

ok, so it is a late review for me here. I am writing a review here since I see people writing bad ones. I come here very frequently and I think it's great. Both waiter and waitresses are great when it comes to service. They are always friendly and know what they are doing from asking if we are doing alright to drinks and food delivery. The food is great, especially since the prices for AYCE are so CHEAP! Yes, CHEAP! They give you two options for AYCE and that is great since other sushi places do one. Popped in for lunch with my husband, first thing I noticed was it was empty in here. Made me more comfortable and ensured we got our food quickly. When I got my bento box (which everytime my son gets one it comes with a spring roll) the told me that it doesn't. Which was disappointingly the reason I got the bento box. I'm vegetarian and dont have many options here...my box was very disappointing. I noticed waitresses and host rolling silverware without wearing their masks properly or using gloves to roll the silverware. Overall not impressed with today's visit. read more

We have been to Tomo7 many times and it's our favorite sushi restaurant. All of the rolls are very fresh and delicious!!! We love that there is such a wide selection of rolls. The service is fantastic. We never have to wait and are seated right away. The sushi chefs and waiters are very kind and helpful. My best friend took me here, to show me how good sushi really gets. She was right, it was so delicious it almost melted in my mouth. The salmon and tuna assortments we got were extremely fresh... Horrible service from the girl Iliana, heard the older guy mention her name (believe she was The one with weird bangs)). Extremely rude. She would roll her eyes and give extreme attitude towards me. My wife simply asked for a refill and got ignored as well. If I were the owner of this establishment I would have her fired! Ruined my dinner! read more

We love Tomo 7! The AYCE is definitely the way to go! Always get me some teriyaki chicken, mixed tempura and the Double Dragon and Crunch rolls. And those are just some of my go to's.
