Tommy's Subs has delicious bread to carry delicious meats and toppings. Shredded lettuce, fresh deli meats, fresh bread. Their portions are great. Really delicious sandwiches! Bread is really good- crusty and doesn't stick to my fake teeth (lol)!! Service is great. Even with a long line they took our order quick and our sandwiches came out quickly as well! A great little sub shop with wonderful service and a perfect place to stop on the way to Red Rocks for a concert. They are willing to make any sub custom and food is fresh and tasty. Consider the meatball subs as well as any cold cuts put together in a custom sandwich. Prices are fair and service is pretty quick even when they are busy. It can be a bit hard to find as it is in a strip center a bit off the road but make the effort and it is worth it. read more

It's a pretty simple menu with about ten different sandwiches, but each one is prepared with care and turns out delicious. My favorite sandwich is the Italian. Each sandwich comes with a choice of lettuce, onions, tomato, mayo, oil, and their famous peppers. The bread is toasted to perfection and the inside is juicy and full of flavor. Tommys Subs is a perfect place to stop by for an enjoyable meal and I feel confident in saying that they have the best sandwiches in the state of Colorado. Eh, the staff is super friendly. Sadly that is about it. The bread is hard, the pepper relish is tasteless, the meats are so thickly sliced that when biting into the hard bread the meat and other accoutrements fall out. Not to mention the shredded lettuce to meat ratio is horrific. We had the club, Italian sandwich (which only has salami and ham... not a true Italian), and the roast beef. read more

I thought that the service is fabulous. Restaurant / bar next door has changed a few times in the few years I have visited Tommy's. So glad this small business is able to make money and keep on keeping on! Tommy's has always maintained its high quality and good variety of sandwiches. It is a simple place with not a lot of fanfare, but you really don't need the fan fare if you've got the ingredients that they​ do. Highly recommend. WOW! I love sandwiches and I rarely find ones that I like over the delicious ones I can make at home. Today I wanted to take my teenager out to lunch so I looked up sandwiches near me. All the regulars came up, which wich, subway, jimmy johns, etc. All with dismal reviews. But then I spotted Tommy's on the map, we headed out. I got the Italian loaded and my son got the Club loaded. I moved to Colorado in 2013 and found Tommy Subs right away. It was amazing! We have since moved from Morrison and if I happen to be in that area, I make it a point to stop at Tommy's for a sandwich. I got a turkey loaded and was so excited but as I took my first bite, the bread was stale and while it had all the toppings, I barely had any turkey. As they've expanded their menu, it seems like their quality has declined. Sad to take this off one of my top sammie places. read more

My sixteen year old son has been raving about this place for months, and I can definitely see how it would appeal to the high school boy crowd: big subs that are cheap, decorated with posters of Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, etc. But it's appeal extends to those sixteen year old's mothers, as well. My turkey sub was made with nice fresh veggies, and a tasty special sauce. Located in a very humble strip mall - Tommy's very laid back and not fussy or pretentious. I don't understand why this place gets good reviews. I have been there twice (before and during COVID) and it's just not good. This time they got both the sandwich orders wrong, but more importantly my sandwich was 5 pounds of bread and two tiny slices of meat. I got the French dip which looked nothing like the picture. Apparently they are afraid to put meat on your sandwich. Basically I just got a loaf of bread and some any jus sauce. Either of us liked what we got and chucked it up to another mediocre Denver suburb restaurant. Disappointing and won't go back. read more

This is my favorite place in the Denver area for a cheese steak sandwich (eating here for years). Just a small shop in a strip mall, run by a family, nothing fancy at all. Everyone I bring here always loves the cheese steaks too. I have only eaten the cheese steaks but the other sandwiches also look good. Tommy's is a "Morrison" institution. They have great subs, be it cold or hot. The French Dip is really good as is the Philly (it's not a typical philly). I always stop by on my way to a Red Rocks show and get a cold sammy with pepper relish to take to the show. I recommend bringing any out of town guests by for a sub on the way to Red Rocks. Be aware that it is a small place, so there is not a lot of tables for eat in. read more

Tommy's is definitely in the running for one of the best sub shops in Denver! I work close by, so I head over at least once a month for lunch. The meatball sub is ah-mazing, and the italian is one of my favorites! Regardless of what you order, it's the special pepper blend that makes everything so good! I highly recommend it on all of the subs! Their bread is perfect (not too much , not too little, and just the right crust), which really makes for the great sub bases. I especially love that this is a local business! My only suggestion? Teaming up with a local bakery and offering yummy cookies and brownies instead of the pre-packaged and Twinkie-like "Tasty Cakes" that they currently offer. Bottom line: If you're in the neighborhood, don't miss this place! They're not open late, so go for lunch! read more

Wowza! Recently went to actual city of Philadelphia and had a hoagie, and it was amazing. I was bummed that we don't have bogies in Denver. ...Wait! Yes! We do! Here! At tommy's! The Italian is a hoagie. So fricken good. I don't think it's humanly possible to get the crunchy on the outside bread like in Pa, but, it's close. Like. Super close. Meh...After reading the reviews I guess my expectations were set way to high. I ordered a Italian and a turkey sub with the works. Sandwich was just okay, and for the price I expected more. The "works" failed in my opinion. They forgot the cheese on my turkey and I have know idea where their peppers are on the sandwich. Had high hopes for this place, but I'll spend my money at a chain sub shop and get more value for my money. read more

Always a great sandwich shop, but had the philly and asked for mushrooms on the side, not only was told it wasn't an option was actually verbally challenged and called rude by the owner for asking. Disappointing, after having a couple of the workers gang up on me, I asked for my money back and was told it was too late. They were so rude, when they had an opportunity to be easy and flexible. Really enjoy this place great food. Don't be afraid address is Morrison but you don't have to go into town and run the risk of getting a ticket from the Morrison pd. Like I said like this place a lot Italian sub is awesome love their gardinair(sp) place is a little small don't expect to sit down.
