The best tacos of my life! I live in CA- and I can't believe that the best tacos I've had are here in Aurora. Everything about the tacos is perfection- 1. The tortilla is absolutely delicious on its own, I am a great cook and this tortilla elevated the taco experience. The meats- all of them so flavorful and good, the veggies are all crunchy and the salsas are 100 on my list. I think these are better than tacos el gordo in Tijuana, or any other tacos I have had in LA and OC - to help you give you a reference.

We wanted to try a new taco spot and decided to ordered tacos Selene to go. My husband got the smothered burrito which was seriously massive! The green chile was really good. I ordered beans, an adobada taco, barbacoa taco, al pastor sope and carne asada sope. My favorite was the barbacoa taco. I had high hopes for the sopes bc I hadn't had one in so long but they were just okay. If I went back I would definitely order the barbacoa again!

A 1/2 egg breakfast burrito. Driest ever, and tastes like ingredients were sitting around for days.

So-so tacos. Decent for the suburbs, but seriously lacking when compared to taquerias on Federal. The breakfast burritos are terrible! You can get a better breakfast burrito at any gas station in town. See photo of the 1/2 egg burrito I was served today. This was the driest breakfast burrito I've ever been served. You could get a better breakfast burrito at a gas station in Ohio.

No, no lamb. They have Asada, Adobada, Lengua, Barbacoa, Alpastor, Pollo, and Tripe.

Is this the same owner as the Tacos Selene in Aurora?

    Yes they are.

Do they serve drinks here and if so, is there a happy hour?

Not yet, but they told me a liquor license for wine & beer is in the works

I ordered the quesadilla with carne asada and it came with two sides of sour cream, one mild salsa, and one hot salsa. It also came with garnish on the side of lettuce and tomatoes. The quesadilla was very good it had cheese, carne asada, onions, and some other peppers. It was not super spicy but definitely had a lot of flavor in my opinion. The cheese was extremely rich and made for a great quesadilla! The burger was very good, it came with a big side of fries that were very seasoned! The fries had a lot of salt, pepper, and other spices on it. I love salty food and thought it was perfect. But some people might think it was too much so you may want to ask light salt or no seasoning at all. The burger was very good and every bite had great flavor with the smack sauce, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and onion. I enjoyed both items that I ordered and had plenty left over to eat later. It was a little pricey as I paid $28 for the quesadilla and burger but it was reasonably priced for the portion size and quality of the food. I just expect things to be a little cheaper when it comes to food trucks. The service was very good, I had an older Hispanic couple running the truck when I visited and they were very kind, professional, and put love into the food. The ambiance is cool, I mean it is a food truck with no seating. They have some chairs outside but no table. They also sell drinks, the options that I saw were Coke and Pepsi. I would definitely give snack daddy's a try if you are around downtown Littleton and want to support this small business. I will definitely be back to try some more of the menu.

I have determined one really can't go wrong. This time we had the pupusas and smothered breakfast burritos, yes, for supper. The pupusas have that only-mom's homemade kind of flavor. I will be craving queso-chicharrón in the future. The smothered breakfast burritos, using a nice balance of fresh potatoes, eggs, and meat of choice, had layers of flavor, topped off with a delicious blanket of green chili sauce. I was not disappointed by the bacon in mine which was even crispy. In the past we have thoroughly enjoyed street tacos, smothered burritos, and chile rellenos- all great! Our server was attentive and obviously proud of their product (rightfully so). It is a small space and the seating limited but acceptable. We moved from booth to table, as the booths were pretty uncomfortable. This is a small thing in light of the excellent food and always very friendly staff. If comfort is an issue, don't pass on takeout! It was a nice evening and I look forward to introducing other friends to this dining experience.

One thing I really appreciate is the fast service and how quickly the food comes out, even when they're busy. The service is impressively fast. The ambience is great and there's plenty of seating, so even though it's popular, it never feels cramped. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Los Dos Portillos is consistently good. I've been to multiple locations, and the quality is just as good every time. Occasionally, you'll even catch a mariachi band, which adds a really fun, authentic vibe. One time they even humored me and played "Poco Loco," which thoroughly delighted me. There will almost always be a wait on Friday and Saturday nights, but honestly, it's a reflection of how popular the place is, and it's worth it. I grew up in an area with a high Hispanic population, so my standards for Mexican food are pretty high. This place absolutely delivers. It's one of those spots I keep coming back to, and I'm never disappointed.

The host was welcoming and was provided with chips and salsa right away. The server was quick to welcome us, taking our drink orders, and providing us with more time with the menu due to our first visit. The menu is extensive and has the standard offerings of other local Mexican restaurants. Lunch included the Chimichanga with green chili and sides of rice and beans, and the other a combo plate of the Beef Burrito, Cheese Enchilada and Pork Tamale. The server asked if we wanted mild, medium or hot green chili, which was a nice offering. For us the hot green chili was very good, with enough heat to make us "sweat", but not overpower our taste buds. The medium was just about right for nice flavorful meal with the lingering heat. All the meals were served quickly and piping hot and had nice flavor all around. Overall, the lunch was good and service excellent, and parking was great with plenty of off-street parking. I would not hesitate to return when in the mood for some consistent and comfort Mexican food, and great service. Tips for your visit: Lunch time is a slower time for them, so both times I visited we were able to sit and visit with friends without feeling rushed.
