    Our table.

My family and I really enjoyed our dining experience at this Mexican restaurant in Littleton, CO this afternoon. The restaurant is conveniently located just off of Kipling Parkway, has plenty of parking, is very nicely and colorfully decorated outside and inside, we were warmly greeted upon entering, seated immediately by helpful, friendly staff, the dining room and restroom were clean and did not smell, the dining room was well lit and had many windows revealing a nice view, there was plenty of seating and the staff helped fix our table especially for our group, we were given nice, colorfully decorated menus right away, they took our order in just minutes, our efficient & friendly server (Ernesto) spoke English, smiled, and answered all of our questions about lunch choices, our food orders was served hot in 10 minutes and was delicious, prices were reasonable, they brought out a special Mexican dessert cake with candles for one of our party whose Birthday we were celebrating, our server was glad to take a few photos of our group.

Potato Taquitos and all the goodies!

We have been here many times and the service is always amazing and always a fun environment! This last time, I tried a new item, potato taquitos because why not? They were pretty tasty when you dip it in to a side of hot green chili!! (They pretty much taste like wrapped up mashed potatoes, which they are... but when you dunk them..... Ohmygoodness... next level!) You can scoop up the beans and rice, delicious! You can pack it with guac, delicious! Up for an adventure? Give these a go!

And one more delicious meal on the books at Las Dalias in Littleton Colorado. This time we tried something new: tacos de alambre (a mix of meat, bacon, cheese) all wrapped up in a corn tortilla and served with guacamole, rice, beans and pico de gallo, and a delicious, smothered in medium spice level green chili, shredded beef chimichanga also accompanied by the rice and the beans. The chimichanga may have had some beans scooped via a tortilla chip prior to the picture being taken sorry! It was nice to see this place busy and we gladly waited a few minutes for a table because we really wanted to support a great business and an old friend :) Ricardo is always amazing, takes time to chat with us and he makes us feel at home! Gracias Ricardo por su deliciosa comida y sus atenciones

The food here is wonderful! We loved their chips and salsa which is our first check of whether or not we'd come back to a restaurant. The inside is beautiful with all of the bright colors and decor! We were big fans of their posole and chicken enchiladas. Definitely worth trying and we can't wait to go back.

This is a hidden gem. I used to frequently visit their Lakewood location until I moved to Littleton. I would much rather support this family owned and operated joint versus the typical Los Dos Portrillos, Hacienda, etc. The staff is wonderful and are always friendly and helpful even when short staffed. Portions and prices have never changed in the 3+ years I've been coming despite the economic conditions. Their green chili is also so bomb! Born and raised in CO and very picky w/ my Mexican food. Give them a chance and support locally owned and operated! My recommendations: steak skillet or burrito de alambre.

They have burros! It's important criteria to have at least awesome burro. This lets you know the restaurant is good!

This is the second location, the other is in Lakewood. We were pleasantly surprised that there is a location close to us. The food, service and atmosphere was terrific. The complimentary chips were warm and the salsa is definitely homemade. Like everywhere, they are short staffed, but they are well balanced. We need a go to in our area for a Mexican fix and we'll go again for sure.

    Chile relleno and enchilada

Grabbed some takeout today for lunch and was not very happy with my meal. Ordered the crispy chile relleno, enchilada lunch special. Chile relleno was neither crispy or hot, but was actually warm on the outside and cold in the middle which leads me to believe it was either frozen or microwaved. Enchilada's are just smothered in cheese and sauce so nothing to report on them. Chips and salsa are pretty decent and looked like they do make their own chips on site.

Eat here 3-4 times a year over last 3+ years. We love a lot of their dishes and with the hot green chili they all have a bite!

I ordered the quesadilla with carne asada and it came with two sides of sour cream, one mild salsa, and one hot salsa. It also came with garnish on the side of lettuce and tomatoes. The quesadilla was very good it had cheese, carne asada, onions, and some other peppers. It was not super spicy but definitely had a lot of flavor in my opinion. The cheese was extremely rich and made for a great quesadilla! The burger was very good, it came with a big side of fries that were very seasoned! The fries had a lot of salt, pepper, and other spices on it. I love salty food and thought it was perfect. But some people might think it was too much so you may want to ask light salt or no seasoning at all. The burger was very good and every bite had great flavor with the smack sauce, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and onion. I enjoyed both items that I ordered and had plenty left over to eat later. It was a little pricey as I paid $28 for the quesadilla and burger but it was reasonably priced for the portion size and quality of the food. I just expect things to be a little cheaper when it comes to food trucks. The service was very good, I had an older Hispanic couple running the truck when I visited and they were very kind, professional, and put love into the food. The ambiance is cool, I mean it is a food truck with no seating. They have some chairs outside but no table. They also sell drinks, the options that I saw were Coke and Pepsi. I would definitely give snack daddy's a try if you are around downtown Littleton and want to support this small business. I will definitely be back to try some more of the menu.

I have determined one really can't go wrong. This time we had the pupusas and smothered breakfast burritos, yes, for supper. The pupusas have that only-mom's homemade kind of flavor. I will be craving queso-chicharrón in the future. The smothered breakfast burritos, using a nice balance of fresh potatoes, eggs, and meat of choice, had layers of flavor, topped off with a delicious blanket of green chili sauce. I was not disappointed by the bacon in mine which was even crispy. In the past we have thoroughly enjoyed street tacos, smothered burritos, and chile rellenos- all great! Our server was attentive and obviously proud of their product (rightfully so). It is a small space and the seating limited but acceptable. We moved from booth to table, as the booths were pretty uncomfortable. This is a small thing in light of the excellent food and always very friendly staff. If comfort is an issue, don't pass on takeout! It was a nice evening and I look forward to introducing other friends to this dining experience.

One thing I really appreciate is the fast service and how quickly the food comes out, even when they're busy. The service is impressively fast. Los Dos Portillos is consistently good. I've been to multiple locations, and the quality is just as good every time. Occasionally, you'll even catch a mariachi band, which adds a really fun, authentic vibe. One time they even humored me and played "Poco Loco," which thoroughly delighted me. There will almost always be a wait on Friday and Saturday nights, but honestly, it's a reflection of how popular the place is, and it's worth it.
